Isn't there supposed to be HD calling on the 10?
How do I get it not to goto lock screen during a call?

Possible solutions:
1. Buy a pouch
2. Put your phone facing outwards (not recommended)
3. Put your phone upwards (that way you'll accept the calls)
4. Use a dialer that has sideways swipe for accepting/rejecting calls.

How can I change the dialer?

That would require him to be rooted and have CWM installed. He is not rooted.
To the OP, Just go to the market and search for dialers. They are phone applications and each should have a different type of lockscreen interface.
on the galaxy s5 I get a missed call and it appears on my lockscreen , however clicking or swiping it doesn't do a thing. I am running apex launcher but I also tested this on my nephews device which is all stock rooter , results are the same , is there a way to click it and have it open up the dialer on call logs or something I am missing ?
mine, when i click on the missed call at the lockscreen (enter passcode) then it will bring me to the call logs screen.
Hmm that's odd I just have it set to swipe to unlock

I think this is how Android works, it's for security reasons.

Hi folks,
is it possible to disable full screen incoming calls and only use hover for that? Because oft activating hover i now have full screen and hover notification together.
I would love that.

OK Blacklist is in now. How can i disable standard full screen incoming call notification? Only found the option to block calls from hover not to use only hover for calls.
OK, found it into call settings. Great.
When i attempt to make a call on my phone from the dialer screen and click on the contacts name , the calling screen does not open , rather at the bottom of the screen it says "Call conditional forwarding" and i have absoloutely no control over the call. Please someone help me with this issue.

When I'm using my phone, a call comes in it takes up the entire screen and I can't do anything but accept or reject the call. My wife's v20 alerts her to a call on the second screen and doesn't interfere with whatever she is doing. How can i me mine do that as well?
Did u turn on the second screen?

I don't have a button for calls under networks only advanced calling. Is there another way to get there?

? um..
what device, what rom ?
I don't have that menu in my settings either but you can find if if you open the dialer and go to settings from there.
I'm on WETA's rom.

Sorry I should of mentioned the rom it's a VS995 running NotSoStock.
I found the second screen option under dialer. It was already set to second screen, I set it to something else and then back to second screen but it still doesn't seem to be using the second screen. Any ideas?
Thank you for the replies!

It's possible that the Verizon caller ID app is running interference on this. Try disabling it (unless you pay for this service).

Im having the same issue with H990DS with stock rom & mk2000 kernel.
Have you managed to fix this?
I ran stock most of the time on my V20 and all of my calls would pop up on the second screen like you describe your wife's phone doing. I always assumed it was enabled with second screen or by default
I know that you already posted that you don't have this option but I thought I'd post some screenshots of what it looks like on mine (H990DS). I put the screenshots in the order that they come in. Mostly in case this helps someone else out with this issue.
