Boldbeast works great. :good:
I'll post my settings soon as it may need configuring first.
Edit: Here are my settings below and they haven't failed me yet, some people get the wrong idea about call recorders but they're great for going over job details etc.
Call settings:
Record Mode
Alsa Mode (Root)
Fix Recording Issues
Tune Audio Route - Group3
Change Audio Controls - Enabled
Start Input Stream - Enabled
Alsa Device
Auto
Alsa Bits
Auto
Alsa Channels

Alsa Sampling Rate

WAV Sample Rate
Auto
Incoming Calls
Auto Detect Answered State - Enabled
Auto Detect Max Time - 4
Restart Recording Upon Answered - Enabled
Outgoing Calls
Auto Detect Answered State - Enabled
Auto Detect Max Time - 4
Restart Recording Upon Answered - Enabled
Abondon Short Record

If a setting is not mentioned above, then it's disabled.

Yes the app is free but has a paid version, the free version works great and I use it, the only thing that is different with the two is that with the paid version you are able to automatically record calls, with the free version you need to touch the button that appears in the dialer to start recording. You can move this button with an option in the settings but disable the move option once you find a nice spot for it. You can enable auto record in the free version but it has a time limit I think.
so no app that we know that works for free?
and about these one, you tried with bt?

The better the plicacion stock as long as you have a cooked rom, usually all usually have that option, which is very valid and no cumbersome.
If having to install soware seconds.

Did you ever figure out a way to record it?
I had used this app on my evo 3d with no issues.
..now it doesnt work on the Galaxy s4...records my voice only..
just wondering if you figured it out?
Using "another call recorder" on 9505 stock not rooted. Works flawlessly just have to set outgoing delay above 0. Recording via bt headset also works perfectly.
Slig, searched for that in google Play without any luck. Do you have a link?
Thank you in advance.

Thanks.
What are your settings for:
Recording format:
and
Audio Source:
defaults: 3gp and voice_call
The only setting in recording i've changed is that delay. I've set it to value of 2. When it was zero outgoing recording was failing from time to time.
I'm using this app in auto recording mode with few numbers excluded. My save folder is located on sd card.

Followed your exact instructions...doesnt work.
I made a few calls and it said it was recording. Now each recording is exactly 641 bytes and cannot be opened (the built in player opens and shuts right down), tried other media players and accessed the recording in the ACR folder without any luck as well...;. I'm on T-mobile service but i dont think it matters.... weird...
I downloaded version version 4.3 from the market. not sure which one you are using.
I have version 4.3 from the market. Don't know why it behaves so weird in your case. My rom version is MEA. There is also program called Galaxy Call Recorder which worked on my phone. Maybe try this one.
My phone isnt rooted....
I'm using this app now thanks to Slig.. works reliably with my unrooted S4

Not sure what phone you are using it on but it does NOT work on the galaxy s4.in fact each output file is 641bytes (even though the recording times differ) and EStrong audio player cannot even open them
Hello again everyone. As some of you might know, I have finally gotten my Nexus 7 to work with the gmate+ device. For those who have no idea what this is or what I'm talking about, gmate is a device that gives iOS/Android devices GSM functions (call/text, etc.) via bluetooth. Of course there is an app to be installed to the device to pair it and use the features. Unfortunately, the application for Android does not have the option to change ringtone and Nexus 7 does not have native settings for ringtone. So now, for SMS notifications, N7 will play notifications alert tone but when somebody is calling, no alert tone whatsoever. I have tried several ringtone apps but none worked so far. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks and more power!
Anybody with any idea here?

You can use Zedge to set default and contact ringtones. It says it's set when I try it, but I cannot test for a call.
All I can say is that it doesn't change the ringtone for the Android Device Manager remote ring.

Hi... is there any way to turn off camera shutter sound? I have tried every possible solution for instance "turn off all system sounds",silent mode, vibration etc. Also I tried through moving files (shutter sound files) from root folder and couldn't find any code in "csc" files related to camera
Does anyone know how to fig this??
I'm not sure if this works on note 3 but on my note 2 I add this line in others.xml so I could turn sound on and off
true

If you're rooted you can use wanam with xposed framework. There's a setting that allows disabling camera sound.
I've just tried this app and it works for note 3, now I can turn sound on and off and I enabled camera during calls

Ok..
So, it has a manual function (key) for recording calls.
But, it doesn't play the recordings? Asks for root for playing those?
If It is .amr file then it can be played by normal music players
There are many ways to play that recording. No root access is needed. One of the simple way is to install ES file explorer and play that file using any audio player e.g. google play music.
hit thanx or like post if helpful.

inbuilt featue is not automatic
The inbuilt recording feature is not automatic. Amd it also produce beeps while recording. The best solutin is install free app from google play store named: ACR Automatic call recorder. Its the best and doesnt records dialing or ringing sounds. it records only the conversation. Lot of facilities too like save the recording, sorting datewise etc.
I dont think that third party call recording works in Yureka without root.
The inbuilt call recording needs to be enabled on a call to call basis.
Any tweaks for this?
Edit:
Solution: Use Smart Auto Call Recorder
Android officially supports internal sound recording for screen recording apps,
I tried tons of screen recording apps but none could record internal audio..
Is this HMD's restrictions or the app's?
I'm currently using AZ screen recorder. It works on some browsers/games.
Not all apps support the audiorecorder method used to capture internal system audio. If you are rooted, the root apps will work but they will disable speakers in order to do so.
