Hello,
I have a samsung galaxy s5 which is on the Hong kong version (TGY).
Is it possible to update the phone to android marshmallow and change the CSC at once.
Currently I have the Hong Kong lollipop (5.0) and I have downloaded the firmware for the marshmallow from the Netherlands CSC.
Any help is appreciated
Thank you

Hi everyone,
I have a Hong Kong international Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) 16GB and I want to install the leaked android 5.0 lollipop rom for
N9005. I know that Hong Kong devices cannot install roms from other countries. What should I do to enable my device be flashed other rom?
Thanks
Seems you have the international model N9005, which is the almost same model I have got. I reckon you should be able install the leaked lollipop rom. The instructions on this forum details what you should do if you have got the 16GB version.

You may need the PIT file for that leaked 5.0, I think.

I recommend you don't try any custom rom (this can upload your bootloader to 5.0 and you will have problems for come back to 4.4.2) or stock rom till the official updates for your country zone.

Looking at Samsung's update history... Hong Kong variant of n910u updates is released about 2-4 months later compared to the New Zealand variant. I would say we should get the update first week of December(?)
i updated the New Zealand version 5.1.1 of vodafone - i am trying the HD VOICE in Israel Orange but it's not working - i tried to enter the technical menu to AMR settings , but i cant change to AMR -WB , any suggestions?
Can I upgrade my 910U (5.0.1) having following firmware to 5.1.1 NZ ROM available at Sammobile:
My current Stock ROM
Bootloader Version:
N910UXXU1BOHC
PDA Version:
N910UXXU1BOHC
CSC Version:
N910UZZT1BOHC
Baseband Version:
N910UXXU1BOHC
What i understand is tht as ROMs for 910U serve more than one country (new zealand, hongkong, tiawan etc) so one can install ROMs for one country on an another country provided the Note 4 model is the same i.e. 910U.
Thnx
Hi devs

I is possible to install a HongKong (TGY) firmware through Odin to my Galaxy S5 G900F which currently has UAE (XSG) Firmware
if fw was for a snapdragon cpu then yes
most if not all s5 snapdragon phones have same base software, the only diff is bloatware/carrier specific apps.
and maybe bootloader(ATT HAS IT LOCKED) and least likely modem but they can be flashed seperately or afterwards if need be
Hi guys!
I have a Question and please don't ignore this.
In Poland and UAE has Android 8 already been released. If I stay in Italy, can I install the Poland or UAE firmware in Italy without affecting the phone? And the firmware will take it after samsungfirmware and I will do with Odin. is OK?
I can't wait for Android 8.0 official in Italy
