[Q] Low video camera FPS

Hi,
I was having some problems last week with an unresponsive UI and some people recommended rooting my phone and using a different ROM to solve the problem, others just said to factory reset my phone and re-format the SD card.
Well, I factory reset my phone and re-formatted the SD card and this has pretty much solved the slow UI problems (for now) and I thought that it also might fix another problem that I was having: unwatchable low camcorder FPS.
It doesn't matter what resolution I am recording in but the FPS of video is usually around 8 or 9 (according to my computer when I transfer the video file) and if you watch it there are like 2-3 second "hiccups" during the clip where the video is just frozen but the audio continues normally (this is during playback on the phone and on my PC).
I thought maybe I had a bad SD card and the re-format would fix it but it didn't. According to my SD card testing program it has a write speed of 5 MB/s which seems like it should be adequate.
Is there something I can do to fix this? Do I just have a bum phone and need to call and get a warranty replacement?
Any help would be MUCH appreciated...

[Q] Youtube and other videos with frame drops on my Nexus 4

Hello guys,
I'm new to the Android World, I was user of a Xperia X8 (that I just used for SMS and calls) and one iPod Touch 4. Both were very slow and I just decided to change to only one device, and I find out that the N4 was the best option for me, due to it's cost and performance.
I'm really loving this device, its smooth, fast, beautiful design, everything you guys already now But, something is annoying me... I watch a lot of movies and videos on my devices, and I noticed that in my Nexus 4 I get some frame drops while watching it, most frequently in HD movies, but also happens in SD videos. I've noticied this on YouTube (that recently had an update, I'm not really sure if that's the problem) and in MX Player (if the decoder is setted to S/W the frame drops is almost 0, and in H/W is the same thing as in YouTube).
I don't believe that this should happen Anyone knows what can I do to fix that? The device is running stock kernel and rom in the 4.2.2 version, just like it's out of the box, and I didn't did any reset. And, I saw that 4.3 is faster, but, I can't update to it, when I check for updates under the setting menu, it says that it's already up to date, how can I do to update it?
Thanks guys!

Videos lag on 6.0-SD related?

Hey Guys,
I just got this phone and instantly updated to 6.0, then performed a factory reset and cleared the cache. I was testing things out and it looks like all videos, whether played through Youtube or the built in Video App, stutter for me a half second every 10 seconds or so.
*Update. Turns out formatting my SDCard as internal storage contributed to this, as the phone tells me the card is slow even though it's a brand new Class 10 UHS card. I formatted it as portable storage and the lag is gone on the phone. Now it just lags when on Screen Mirroring, right next to my 2 year old Note 3 which doesn't lag at all using the same features.
Any thoughts? Thanks,
Nila

High Uptime problems

Alright, so I've been using my S7 edge (SM-G935F) for around 930 hours so far without restarting and installing the new update that came out a few days back.
Since I didn't restart my phone quite a long time I experienced that it's not that smooth as it is normally. For example the gallery when opening an album isn't smooth with loading and sorting the pictures, it's more like 4 frames that build up the photo overview.
In addition I noticed that the battery is draining a bit more.
Does somebody experienced it as well?
And is there any "fix" to solve the laggy gallery for example?

This is a known problem, thats why samsung has provided a setting where you can turn on auto restart. It's located at backup & reset:

Videos from SD card are very slow

I used to have a Galaxy s4. All videos on my SD card played flawlessly and I could fast-forward/rewind with no issues. I've put the SD card into my new Axon 7 and the videos run very slow. Almost in slow motion. Fast-forwarding takes a while to process. This is frustrating.
I've tried opening with the default Photos app, Video app, and also installed Piktures. Same result with all 3.
Is there a fix for this?
