No I'm not jealous. There are already now at least 3 threads on this release and no doubt more to come.
There is an "official" jb thread for all news. The op should have posted in there. This forum is already hard enough to find new interesting and informative articles without it being cluttered by muppets who can't be bothered to post in the right place.

The screenshots are from my device only. I have flashed L01 images long back when the emui 3.0 was released for it. So it displays as L01, while it is actually L04. I have flashed this on my friend's stock L04 and runs without issues.

Yes it does.

I could get about 24h on one charge,
my usage: gsp for 1.5 hours, calling 1.5 hours, some music, browsing, lots of messaging

where did you find this ROM ? (to follow any upgrade).
Have you any bugs ? (i saw also before to install, you must downgrade the phone to an EMUI 2.3, not 3.0: http://en.miui.com/thread-66358-1-1.html).
and have you any french language pack ?

Instalation
Download the rom
Copy it on the sdcard
Start the phone in recovery CWM (not stok, will not work)
Make a backup of you previous rom
Then>>
-wipe data factory reset
-install zip from sdcard/ choose zip/ sellect the rom.zip/ yes install
When it finish reboot the phone and it took some time untill boot, 4-5min
if FMradio not working, install the FMRadio.apk attached

rewiew: ok, i had some problems with aroma installer but after all i managed to install. Rom is suprisingly fast, maybe fastest of all. I like ui, lots of futures, and trasnsparent stats bar. Specialy the thing i like is there is no ui lags (yet), maybe after installing more apps there will be, but for now its superrr. However on antutu benchmark i had score of 11000+, (on other roms its about 12000-12500) but i didn't noticed any performance issue, like i said that i think it is fastest rom for now. Whell i think i will stick with this rom now, tnx again for port.
P.S. Had to disable that boot audio (i like the song) but i like silince when booting.

@vaserbanix l have problems in Aroma while l trying to install rom.I can't choose "Next" or "Back" option during installation properly sometimes l can but sometjmes l can't and l can't install rom at all.Can you please remove Aroma Installer from rom?

So this is by far the best rom. Before, the best rom, in my opinion was the MIUI v5 rom. But now, we have a stable, fast and overall great looking rom with beautiful UI. It even has different UI customization features built in, that you can tinker with in the Settings. I am extremely happy that the Youtube app works, it works with the most up to date version. So this is a big plus for me. Also, I have an issue, that isn't this rom's fault. I encountered this issue on many other roms. The faacebook apps doesn't play videos. It lags a bit, then there is a black screen and audio works. But the video doesn't. @vaserbanix, Do you know maybe a fix to this issue? It is really important to me. But thank you for another great port! They keep getting better! Thank you for keeping this phone alive! Salut!

Facebook is an apk wich collect a lot of cahe, so clean it from system/ aplicatii/ facebook (if you dont allredy do it) and see if the video problem persist.
I checked on my phone and no black screen or lag on video rendering.

make a backup of rom and then install the new rom without aroma and chech the facebook apk
instalaion is more easly and mount point and format partition are more better
i run now this version and could be a diferrent betwen instalation process
if this can be a fix then restore only data and you will get all setings

I also installed the rom without aroma version but i still have the problem. Do you think that the issue might exist because I cleared the Dalvik cache before rom installation?
Edit: It works now. I installed a facebook apk that is from july, and video worka now. It seemes that i must not update facebook then. Thanks for your help @vaserbanix

I'm testing it and it's working fine even it's just a pre beta firmware. There are some bugs , but you can do things that you do everyday with no problems. Just remember to close search my phone before flashing.

I have this Phone Variant, i´ve tried to flash with odin and only got fail con System.img no idea why, can somebody help me? i got a couple of bricks but finally can get my note alive again.

I also softbricked mine! what's wrong? How did you unbricked yours? Please Help

The exact same thing happened to me. Any idea how to install nougat?

Restart and test installing an older version and walk away. So I solve it. luck

I enden up restarting my PC, turning of my galaxy, making him go to download mode and using the emergency recovery on SmartSwitch, if u get an error message and on your phone says some thing like error dev device 1 restart everything and start over again

Para resolver ese problema tienen que instalar los firm por separado con odin y se instala correctamente.

I think he means you have to unzip the firmware first, then flash AP/BL/CP separately, also choose between CSC and HOME_CSC. If you choose HOME_CSC I think you can keep your original CSC, but I'm not sure so don't quote me on that.

I soft bricked my phone but managed to get it back up with no data loss yesterday. can't watch video. downloaded xsa MM software and went though odin. wented to advanced and checked bootloader, cache, etc.

And for latin America nothing yet? Damn Samsung.

Can someone please provide S/N for N920G. Need urgrently to repair through samsung switch. Many thanks.

S/N? As in serial number? Absolutely not lol
But look on the back of your device at the bottom and you'll find yours (super faint and hard to read) or look on your box

So, is Nougat working for G variant or not?
