Am I right in saying your model is the verizon variant ? This thread might be interesting for you

Plus there is a verizon forum

Is this reply for me? If so THANK YOU atleast someone is nice around here. Im afraid to offend #Crimsonthunder they seem a bit touchy and already got me into trouble so I need to watch what I say LOL.
I already follow the Verzon forum ... I was hoping since I had snaldragon I could flash any and or all snapdragon ROMS ... seems that is not true. I have flashed a few others that were meant for SM-N910F phones and they worked.

hi
I have a simple yet a profound question that affects the note 3 particularly the n9002 note 3 owners
hate the Chinese keyboard on it and google android keyboard is not cutting it for me..
im trying to get the enlgish Samsung keyboard of note 3 on my device
the question is will flashing the kernel from a n9005 (same processor soc 800) on to my device screw up anything particularly the dual sim part or will it not be affected ?
and the biggest question .. will it brick my device or not ?????
if not then I am willing to go ahead and just try flashing a n9005 kernel on the device
thanks and experts plz chime in here !

Hello xda
I haven't rooted yet but I'm looking up on what roms I may want to flash but I'm having a problem understanding what roms I can flash.
My phones hardware version says N900p
So I initially thought i could only flash n900 roms
But apon further investigating It seem n900 roms are for the exynos powered note 3.
I just ran cpu-z and it says I have the snapdragon cpu
Does that mean I'm able to flash n9005 roms?
(Btw I'm on sprint.)
Also just a side questions if anyone happens to know. Does sprint care if the Knox is tripped? I remember reading somewhere that they don't but I can find where I read that and I want to be sure.
Thanks to anyone that can help this confused noob.

:crying: this is so much confusing what exactly to get , thanks mate for your rply
I´ve just bought a Note 4 and started to read the Rom development threads, but don´t know what "BOE3" or "BOE5", etc, means. Coming from HTC and LG I´m not familar with that.

hi ,
in short ,it should normally refer to the last 4 digits of a paticular stock ROM...........
eg .(N910C)XXUIBOC5 ....members will refer to it as "BOC5 "
where the N910C refers to model eg.... Note 4 Exynos etc
good luck
Thank you!!
Hi all, I've just joined and have just finished rooting my Samsung galaxy note 3 sm-n9007. I've tried searching on the net for custom rom but they all seem to be for other variants of the note 3. Can someone point me in the right direction. I did notice the cm14 rom but that was for sm-n9005 so I'm assuming it won't be compatible. In case you can't tell I'm far from being a pro at this sort of thing but just wanted to try a different rom out as I'm sick of Android 5.0. Thanks in advance, Michael.
Hi there,
I will move your thread in the correct forum dedicated to Galaxy Note 3 Q&A for more relevant answers.
Good luck
You may have difficulty with that model .

Thanks, yeah it does seem like that. There's plenty for the n9005 but I'm assuming I can't use those rooms on my n9005?

Be sure to open up the ROM post on the forum and read the compatibility list. In most cases, they use N9005 as a base but it also might be compatible with other variants
For example I'm using an n7 port which only mentions compatibility with the N9005 (but it does not say EXCLUSIVE for the N9005) but as I kept reading on the same post, I learned that the N900T (my variant) is also supported to install
So please read the forum carefully and/or use the search function on that thread. You'd be surprised to know how many people have asked if their Note 3 variant is also supported
Hope this helps!
