When downloading any theme and wallpaper, i am getting an error for mounting SD card. How can i resolve it.

I don't know when did this started happening actually, I flashed a number of roms in the past couple of days, but I can't get rid of this stupid notification and its really driving me crazy!
When I mount my SD card so I can transfer files from PC and the unmount I get the error "Damaged SD Card - SD card damaged you may have to reformat it"
The thing is reformatting does not solve it, and when I have this notification nothing that accesses the card works (music, photos, astro..)
I tried reflashing my rom again which made the error go away for a while but after some mount-unmount I have it again!
I have a non-branded HTC magic (32A) with Cyanogen 4.2.3 and Enoch theme and RA's recovery image and NO apps2sd
Any help?

Okay I got it to go away, I formatted from the recovery menu (fat32 only)
and I turned off the swap file and uninstalled the swapper app.
No problems so far!
i've found that rebooting the phone makes the sd card damaged error message go away
and that rebooting my pc actually solved the problem of the pc not seeing the sdcard
but that may just be temporary, i dont know
Strange SD Card!
When I mounted my SD Card I was receiving an error and was asked to Scan or Continue. I chose scan and then it looks like it mounted fine. I can view all the folders and files but if I try to copy any files to the card or try to create a folder I get an error saying the Drive is not available and it is no longer mounted. I put the card in a card reader and I received the Scan option again and I scanned it to fix any errors but it doesn't find any. I then can copy, delete and modify anything on the card. I put the card back in the phone and mount the card. No issues until I try to copy, delete or modify and it unmounts and will not work. I have the original T-Mobile Rom and I have not rooted it.
Any ideas?

Hi all, I have a problem...I have an hd2....running Android...I went to install a different rom to change it up a bit, but when I install the .zip file to my sd card, and then choose install.zip from sd card I get the error message....I tried renaming the file to update.zip No go...I made sure that it wasn't named .zip .zip through windows, I have googled and googled...I formatted the sd card to fat 32...It was this already, and I tried 6 diff roms,...Roms that worked before even...I just dont know what to try next..

The Error is always the same

Mount the card in windows. And use panasonice sd formatter. To format the sd card.

Every time I try partitioning the sd card I get this error in clockwork. The only way I have found around it is to reformat the sd card with a android device. IS there anyway other way that I can fix this?

Hi,
I'm not sure what you are trying to say.Have you fixed the problem?
Formatting and partitioning are hugely important in Android.Getting it right can save you grief in the long run.
Get yourself a copy of G-PARTED (google it).
BACK UP YOUR DATA.
Use g-parted to remove(delete)all partitions.
If you are getting errors, chkdisk as well.
Format to fat 32.
Go to ad recovery>advanced>Partition SD Card.1024m with 0 swap)
Then replace everything on the card and install new ROM.
i just tryed flashing build 10 and got

Are you installing the zip from the external SD card or the internal? It should be run from on your internal SD card

plus if u use an external SD card don't forget to remove it before installation and then proceed
best to keep the files on the internal storage when flashing
I have a problem with the device: yesterday I tried to change ROM, but after the wipe, I can not find the SD Card with the new ROM. I then tried to mount the SD Card, but I get the following error: Error mounting /sdcard!
Skipping Format...
I could then install the ROM on Intern Storage, but however I can't use the SD Card.
What I have to do? I use TWRP
