You are simply the best DerTech. You solved my problem with recovery loop after TWRP flash.
Thanks again!
Hi, I managed to get to step 9 on this but get this error when executing the command "Fastboot flash recovery Stockrecovery.img"
error: cannot load 'Stockrecovery img'
Any ideas? And yes 'Stockrecovery.img' is in the same folder as Fastboot Thanks
EDIT: Ok got it working.... if anyone else has this problem you need to hit the TAB key to auto complete... just type " Fastboot flash recovery Stoc[TAB]" and it will autocomplete like "Fastboot flash recovery Stockrecovery.img.img" hit enter and should work. Thanks DerTech99!
Thank you very much ! It worked perfectly !:good:

Stuck without TWRP
Hi all
So I have been spending a good few hours yesterday on trying to get TWRP installed on my Letv Le 1 Pro x800.
I can get fastboot and adb to work no problem. I can even flash TWRP onto my phone but I can never get the phone to get into twrp afterwards. No matter what key combo I try or how many times I reboot or go to adb again, nothing...
Can anyone help with this. I just did the steps in this tutorial above but again... nada.
Any help appreciated!:crying:
When you have rooted phone, you can try install twrp with flashify from google play store. I have make all steps too and without succes with twrp, same problem as you have. But then i have try it with flashify and it works for me now.

You put the twrp zip in the Fastboot folder and type "Fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-x1.img"
I found this yesterday late. All thanks to Cuoco: Le1Pro_US_CUOCO92_TOOLS_v2
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24580943222145288
It's amazing. Did everything I tried to do for days in minutes!!!!
Dear Friends How to know which version of LETV X800 you have kindly let me know i have recently bought from Aliexpress for $189.
It has Build Number BGXNAOP5501103071S and EUI Version is 5.5.011s(Stable). The camera of the phone sucks. It doesn't show update option in Setting Kindly let e know how to update so that the camera quality can be improved.
When i asked seller he advised me not to update the mobile.
Thanks for advice.
Hi Guys
after recovering my phone from a hard brick my PC running windows 10 no longer recognises my phone.
When I start the phone up normaly I get a chinese LEEco screen that just hangs. When I start up TWRP the PC does not recognise the phone . The bootloader mode does not get recognised either. My PC does however recognise that something is being connected to it because it keeps beeping everytime I connect or disconnect the phone. It also installed the driver correctly (at least the system said it had) when I changed USB port... Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Thank You very much it worked perfectly thanks!!!

After the program is installed correctly, open C:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot in your computer.
Copy the CyanogenMod build(ROM) zip file in an external SD card and insert the SD card in your phone.
Now rename the Cyanogen recovery image your downloaded before to recovery.img and then copy it in the Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder. Do copy the twrp.img also in the same folder.
In the folder, hold shift and right click anywhere in the empty space, there will be an option, "open command window here", click that. This is will open cmd prompt window.
Before continuing any further, make sure your device is charged at least 50%.
Now take the battery out from your Yu Yureka and connect it to the computer with the help of micro USB cable.
Yes, connect it without the battery, make sure its connected properly.
after connecting the phone, type this command in the cmd prompt:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
If your device is detected and everything will be working, then this will flash the stock cyanogen recovery to your phone.
(Note:You must have renamed it and copied it to the folder as mentioned above )
Now remove the cable from your device, insert the battery, then hold volume up, volume down as well as power button simultaneously for a few seconds. This will take you to the recovery mode.
Format all your data and cache with help of the recovery option.
Now attach the cable again and type this commandin the command prompt:
adb fastboot bootloader
Wait till the device boots into the fastboot mode, thn type this command in the command prompt:
fastboot boot twrp.img
([OPTIONAL] Note: if you want to flash the TWRP recovery permanently on your phone, then type this command instead:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
and then manually reboot into recovery mode)
Now you will boot into TWRP recovery. Go to "wipe" option, followed by "advance" option then mark all option you see except sdcard, and wipe it all. This will delete all your data.
Now go to "install" option in the main recovery page. Direct to External SD card and find the CyanogenMod build you copied earlier to it. Then install it.
This will take time. After the installation will complete, TWRP will display the message "Successful".
Then reboot your phone. This will take at most 45 mins to install. So, kepp patients and wait till it boot completely.
Here you go!
your Yu Yureka is unbricked now.
I have tried this on my own Yureka and it works fine

how can u connect the device in fastboot mode without the battery????
My Remix Ultratablet current running 2.0.305 keep random restart everyday.
So I wish to downgrade to OS 1.5
I ask for help form office Jide support , they told me I need to
Q1) Problem # stuck on step #1 already , When I ask where is the Remix Ultratablet driver when I install adb and fastboot ? Offical jide support told me I don't need a driver? How so ?
I can't get the tablet connect ??
Note: 1, I connect the tablet with USB to PC
Note: 2, I turn the USB debugging option on Tablet already.
Note: 3, I Test it on pc adb folder by trying "fastboot devices" only get "Waiting for Device" error
Q2) I also try other method (Power key + Volume up) on tablet which show
"Continue
Fastboot Protocol
Recovery Kernel
Reboot
Poweroff
Forced Recovery"
But when i press"Fastboot Protocol" , doesn't do anything ?
For your references:
Steps of instruction I receive from Jide offical support so far....
1) have ADB and Fastboot running, I download the Minimal ADB and Fastboot)
2)Download Remix OS 1.5 ROM
3) Unzip the downloaded zip file ( SK1WG.zip ) and go to the folder
4. Connect the Remix to the computer via USB.
Make sure the fastboot binary is in your PATH ) or that you place the recovery image in the same directory as fastboot.
6. Open a terminal on your PC and reboot the device into fastboot mode by typing adb reboot bootloader or by using the hardware key combination for your device while it is powered off.
7. Once the device is in fastboot mode, verify your PC sees the device by typing fastboot devices
-If you don't see your device serial number, and instead see "", fastboot is not configured properly on your machine. See fastboot documentation for more info.
-If you see "no permissions fastboot", make sure your UDEV rules are setup correctly.
8. Clean the existing data by entering the following command: fastboot -w
9. Flash images onto your device by entering the following three commands:
-fastboot flash system system.img
-fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
-fastboot flash boot boot.img
10. Once the flash completes successfully, run the following command to reboot the device into recovery to verify the installation.
-fastboot reboot

That makes no sense what so ever.
Maybe it would be better to ask what platform he is using to flash his device with, as the instructions he has copy and pasted refer to Linux (udev rules)
it makes sense to me cause you have download the correct Android SDK to work on certain Android platforms.
https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platforms.html
To compile your application against a particular version of Android, you must use the SDK Manager to download and install the SDK Platform for that release.

when you turn it on,it seems you do not have the minimum knowledge required to flash a device... you should stay away from downgrading it or study adb and fastboot videos and tutorials on google and youtube before doing anything.if you do anything wrong and brick your device, the warranty will not work, any bad flash could void your device warranty.

Today I tried flashing the TWRP using fast boot mode but got an error -

Any idea why this could be happening? I have reflashed the MIUI Rom using fastboot rom. The boot loader is unlocked.
Help will be appreciated.

Turn your device in fastboot mode by pressing vol down + power then connect to pc and give command fastboot devices and check if it recognize your device then try other commands for flashing recovery.
Also you can try by recovery installer go here and follow the tutorial :

Thanks mate but the problem was solved. I was starting the twrp installer as Admin and it was giving an error, started that normally and it worked. Strange that but it did.

Thanks mate but I have already successfully installed it. Strange that trying to install as admin didn't work but installing normally did.
Hi.
I need help. I already checked any relating topics on this and other boards, but I couldn't find any help.
I tried to flash TWRP Recovery with the "All-In-One-Tool", but as soon as the phone entered fastboot-mode it couldn't be recognized by the system anymore.
Error Code 43. (USB\DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE)
I am running a Windows 10 Machine.
Solutions I already tried:
- using different drivers (lenovo v1.1.16, zuk v1.0.8, latest google usb drivers from sdk)
- with deactivated driver-signing-check (or what it is called)
- different adb, fastboot tools (mini adb, etc.)
- running live cd of FWUI (forget windows use linux)
- using different usb ports on my pc
Additional to that, my power-button isn't working anymore (since a few weeks now) and I have no idea how to reboot my phone.
I would really appreciate your help.
Follow these steps to install twrp in easy manner:
1.Firstly install lenovo usb drivers.( look download one at bottom of this post for files)
2.Then Go to the adb driver folder and do install necessary set ups according to your system(64 bit or 32 bit).
3.Now go back and move to AndroidSDKSlim\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools folder (put on your phone into bootloader mode and connect usb).
4.Type fastboot -i 0x2b4c devices in cmd and see if there is a reply. If you got reply It means that your drivers are properly installed otherwise not.
5.Once you get reply type fastboot -i 0x2b4c flash recovery twrp_recovery.img
6.After flashing done Disconnect USB then go to the recovery mode and that's it you will see twrp installed as successfully.
(To boot your Device into recovery mode, just turn your device off and then press and hold volume down and power keys at the same time)
Note: It worked for me in windows 10(64 bit).Don't disconnect Usb from your PC while flashing Twrp.
Download:Because xda won't allowing me to put download links up to 10 posts as i'm new So give your email in reply i will send files to that email.
thank you.

Problem solved. I don't know the exact solution.
I waited until the battery was empty and recharged it, phone was booting normal. I installed another set of lenovo driver on my pc and gave it a shot. This time the device got recognized by windows and i was able to unlock the bootloader and flash the recovery.

Same here, I'm desperately trying to unlock the bootloader. On Windows 10 adb correctly recognize my Z1, but when I reboot in fastboot mode I can't get past the "<waiting for device>" message.
Could you please send a download link to ?

I'm 63 years old & could do with some help - trying to flash my Moto G4 but no luck
Hello folks.
I apologise in advance. I thought something was a good idea, and I said to myself I would give it a try and I won't give up, but I have been at this for about 5 hours now and no progress.
I have a Moto G4 which my wife gave about a year ago. I don't like stock Android and want to install Lineage OS onto it. I understand that first I need to:
1. Unlock my bootloader (done)
2. Install ADB Driver Installer onto my Dell (done)
3. Install Minimal ADB and Fastboot onto my Dell (done)
4. Plug my G4 into my Dell using the correct cable. It seems to work as the ADP Driver Installer / APK Installer recognises it as per the image below
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QZAu9ZrCsKBhUcCofo2bde5aB89v76TB
5. Open up the command promt in the Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder, type adb devices - the device is recognised
6. Here is where the problems start!
(a) At this stage, as soon as I type adb reboot bootloader, the G4 reboots but as it does, it disappears from the ADB Diver Installer / APK Installer!
(b) Soon after when I type fastboot flash recovery twrp.img then nothing is found, no files or directory or anything.
I don't understand what I am doing wrong and am very stuck sadly.

Would really appreciate some help from you young clever guys!
Thank you.

It says no twrp.img in that folder.
Because You renamed it's name to twrp.img.img ?
Try flash with "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img.img"
common file extensions are not shown in name, or while rename, but you added ".img" at last, so it is doubled..
Hello sir,
Copy the twrp file to the folder where ADB is installed. The folder is located in C drive.
Next you can Shift+right click, open powershell/cmd, whichever is there.
Now type in command
" fastboot flash recovery tw" and click tab button. After tab button, click enter.
This should be done when phone is in bootloader mode and connected to laptop/PC.
after the command execution is over, you can reboot to recovery.
First flash Ex kernel and then flash magisk, in THIS ORDER ONLY, OR YOUR PHONE WILL BRICK!
And voila, you have root! Flash anything!

Thank you for your suggestion. I did exactly as you said, in fact I tried different variations - I changed twrp.img to just twrp, then tried the command fastboot flash recovery twrp.img, nothing and then I changed it back to how it was, twrp.img and tried the command again, this time ending with twrp.img.img and nothing. Result is as shown below (bootloader not found / not signed or corrupted).
