Sorry if it is a dumb question, but I have only seen one rom that mentioned support for the G935X.
Is there a reason that the development for the G935X is slow, or will the G935F versions work?
I am thinking about purchasing one, but I will reconsider twice if there is no good rom support for it.
Nevermind, that's just the display model.

Q) Why we can't port S6 rom to our Note 3 n900?
I've been thinking the actual reason for a long time. But now I got some answers. First of all S6 is a 64 bit device and running android 5.0.2. But we got only 5.0 officially. Next question, but S4 has some S6 ports?? Answer is, S4 has official 5.0.1. If we have at least 5.0.1 then it will be more easy to port.
I think these are the main reasons.

There is S6 based roms but not on this XDA forum, there is one guy who has made the BEST S6 Edge rom with no issues and its the best. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to state the site cause the guy got banned from here.:silly:
I recently bought a galaxy s7 edge in korea, but its a variant that I'm not familiar with - does anyone have any knowledge about this device? can Do you think Id be able to install any rom? because there sure as heck aren't any that are specific to this carrier
A simple google search bought me to sammobile description page.: https://www.sammobile.com/devices/specs/SM-G935L/
There it shows that your "stupid thing" has an exynos chip. So all the roms under the exynos section.
You do so at your own peril.
Hi guys I'm about to buy a SMG955FD, s8 plus, so I was wondering if there is any practical difference between the two models, because I've owned previously and G955F and I was very happy with the support and rom availability.
Also I watched that mostly 955F roms will work in 955FD.so I'm not so concerned, but I want to ask before buying it to be sure.
Thanks for your responses.
Yes all the stock Roms for G955f will work for g955fd. Custom roms could be depending on developers.

On factory fresh 950FD it doesn't even say FD anywhere on software info, everything is just 950F.
Thanks guys, so I conclusion both are the same.
FD just means dual SIM.
Hello everyone,
I have a S7 Edge Duos G935FD up-to date with stock ROM and I want to put on it a S8 custom ROM, stable (and with better battery life than the stock S7 Edge - if possible).
I'm not much into re-flashing so looking for something to install and forget, if you know what I'm talking about.
I know there are several ROMs out there but not sure which one I should go for and as I explained I'm not into a lot of experimenting.
Any advice appreciated.
Please bear in mind:
- I have done flashing in the past, but mostly for Windows Phone (Samsung: Focus, Ativ S), not Android.
- This is my first post here so apologies if this has been discussed, just point me in the right direction please.
Thanks!
Hello,
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and although I definitely should've checked the model number I did not. My mistake. But I've come to realize that the phone is a Korean variant and as such I can't modify it and put custom ROMs on it - if you can, I'm not sure how.
I'm a novice on smartphones and putting custom ROMs on them, I've done it before on a Note 3 that I owned (Canadian variant).
Since there aren't any custom ROMs (that I can find) for the Korean variant... Is it possible I can somehow convert the phone to an international variant or perhaps force the process?
Thanks in advance.

Try this ROM...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/development/rom-nemesis-refined-v3-5-n7port-t3587637
I have an n910s too...
Tried almost all ROMS and this is the best one.
Good luck.
If you find a way to convert to international version please let me know how to.
Thanks.
Thank for the input but I'm going to be returning the phone and getting an international or Canadian variant, as I would like to use LineageOS on it or something similar. I don't want any ROMs that look or feel like TouchWiz.
