I recently switched from Sprint to Verizon and I have had multiple issues with my 6P. First of all, voice quality is pretty bad, very low & crackling. Also, when I run a speed test on my phone I will get about 11mb on my device but my wife's s7 will get 21. I live in Arizona near Phoenix, is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Turn off the 4G LTE mode under cellular networks in settings. Should fix that issue if it's similar to the issue I was having. Can't comment on the speed issue. No issues here with that.

Don't have much in the way of a fix, but I've got no issues on vzw in East Mesa.

Turning off LTE as Tu3218 suggested does seem to be the fix for those Verizon customers that have that issue. Just wanted to note that not all of see that issue, though. I have LTE on and voice quality is fine where I live. Some suspect it's a phone issue. If you have Nexus Protect on your phone, you might try to contact Google support about it.
I find my signal strength is not as good as our Samsung phones. My old S5 and my wife's Note are both better at picking up a weak signal and they get better speed test results, although not nearly as big a difference as you're seeing.
I'm on Verizon with my 6P. Recently switched from ATT. Central Florida
Voice quality is great for me. Specially with other Verizon customers (HD Voice / AMR Wideband). Speeds on band 4 LTE are normally >40Mb/s down, >20Mb/s UP. Band 13 is normally ~20Mb/s Down, ~10Mb/s Up.
Have run multiple roms. All seemed fine. Including current rom (Android N Dev Preview)
Thanks for everyone's responses, I have attempted turning off the LTE mode with no luck. Also, if I'm talking to someone with Verizon, voice quality is great especially with HD voice. Unfortunately for me, the majority of my calls are to Sprint customer and that's where I have a bad experience. I will contact Google support and see what they say.

Just spoke with Google support and they will believe it's a hardware issue and will replace my device under warranty.

Anyone else having these issues? I've noticed that places I always had at least 1-2 bars with my note 2 I will not have any service with my note 3. Also I have been dropping calls in areas that I never did. Could this be my new sim card or should I exchange my phone? I also feel that my wifi connection stability/range is slightly worse than before.
Mine is the same way, don't get the signal my note 2 would and 4G is weaker also .

I hope this is just a first software or sim issue. Or at the very worst a first production run issue. I will likely be bringing mine to Verizon this weekend to test and new sim or exchange if that doesn't make any difference. Annoying.
Idk how much it will help you but I noticed I was in 3G a lot of the time as well. Definitely more than my N2, I switched my preferred network to LTE/CDMA instead of Global and I now have 4GLTE way more. As far as the wifi and phone reception, I myself haven't noticed any huge difference but I did read the international version of the N3 already received 2 updates and they supposedly not only improved the wifi and antenna signals but also battery life. Who knows when we'll see an update though. We are on Verizon.

Tried that and it actually made my signal significantly worse. I switched back to global and my problem seems way worse tonight than any day this week. Can barely hold onto a signal in places that I never had an issue before. Battery pull didn't help at all. I constantly get a message that says I can't send messages and then asks me to retry. Frustrating, will be going to Verizon tomorrow or Friday to return/exchange
Just now noticing this
I wonder if this has anything to do with being rooted? it seems like I just started dropping calls like crazy just today. I do remember getting the sent error on some text messages, though I can't remember if that started befor or after rooting.
Haven't had a single issue with signal or dropping calls. Also my 4G speeds are pretty insane. I'm thinking there are some units with defective radios.
Any of you guys on Verizon any info on signal strength? Does the phone connect up to LTE and hold on to it in the tough spots?

Yes, from my experience, the phone connects up to LTE and holds onto it in tough spots. It is pretty good at holding on to 3G as well.
Also, the Nexus 6P supports VoLTE on Verizon (as long as you have the "Advanced Calling" feature added to your account.

Our house is a pretty bad spot for signal strength, data and call quality in general, GSM signal seems to be better than CDMA according to my informal surveys. We have Verizon (obviously) with contracts ending in December and have been thinking of switching to T-Mobile or Fi for call quality at home among other things (like money ).
Anyway, the 6P is holding onto LTE signal in the house, and I just called my wife from the house and the call quality was excellent. She on her HTC One M7 (soon to be a 6P, most likely) and me on my 6P. I'm very impressed.

Thanks been on Verizon forever I'm north in Wi and TMobile gets voice here but no data.Verizon and USCell are the only 4G here and I have to be on a network extender here in the cabin to get calls. Once I get on the main roads I get an assortment of 1X 3G 4G and no signal. Verizon is the best by far though. I have went through a lot of phones because some just did not work. Although they have been getting better I have been sticking with Moto because of the good radios. I'm on a Nexus 6 now which is good but I couldn't control myself p6 came out had to get it. Got about another week to wait kicking myself in the butt for not ordering sooner its killing me lol. Thanks again
Better than the N6, which I had previously.

WOO now that's what I'm talking about I also have Nexus 6 second best phone I have had here for signal best was Note 4. Great signal but no development I ended up selling it for $800 couldn't pass that up.
I seem to be hold LTE at my house much better than my G3 or iPhone 6. Usually I drop down to 3G in most parts of my house, but LTE holds everywhere except the basement now.

Is there a way to utilize this feature on our Nexus 6P now? I have really bad reception in my house and would love to receive and make calls in Wi-Fi.

I saw this today also. Hopefully someone will figure out a way for us to implement this feature.
Was wondering how this will get activated on our 6P's
I am also wondering the same thing. Voice over LTE works great on my 6P using Verizon's network, so hopefully WiFi calling can be made to work as well. I suspect that there are no technical limitations that prevent it from working. However, since Verizon still doesn't officially support the Nexus 6P, they obviously aren't going to mention anything concerning the functionality of WiFi calling when they flip the switch on the 8th. Since my father uses a Galaxy S6, I'm going to ask him if his phone receives a software update tomorrow, hopefully giving us an indication if the change to enable WiFi calling is only on the network side, or if the handset needs new software as well to enable the feature.
I need it bad!!! No signal in the gym and I'm there for almost 2 hours everyday. I checked my wife's and my employees devices, none of them have seen an update yet.
I hope we get it!!!

It's a software update that enables it. You then have to go enable it in the same menu as hd calling. When you turn it on you set a home adress for 911 purposes and then it activates the service. I think once you have done that on your line you can use it just like hd calling. Maybe I'm wrong though.
My wife's S6 just updated to include WiFi calling. Damn I want it on the 6P...lol
I really want this on Nexus 6P too. Any hope yet?
Problem #1 My phone often shows an exclamation point and no data. When I toggle airplane mode it usually fixes it instantly.
Problem #2 In a few particular areas I get LTE but can't make calls when using Verizon mvnos. With my previous phones it was the opposite- I could call but no data. It's been confirmed with providers that there's voice in those areas.
I've used various mvnos, radios, and ROMs. I even sent my device in for warranty. I know it's at least partly due to the poor service area, but I didn't have these issues with my Nexus 4 or galaxy phones.

So for those that haven't heard that is having issues or if you're lucky enough not to. There has been a big issue affecting only the Nexus 6P maybe the 5x unsure there though. If your having issues with your LTE all of a sudden, it's probably not from being a flashaholic. They're saying Google should have a fix Monday August 8th. That's T-Mobile & Verizon, for sure. I've heard all carriers. Apparently it's a GPS Issue. They telling carriers to have us turn off out GPS, & restart our phones while the carrier resets our location. This is helping some.
Are you sure you dont meant the Nexus 6?

I have LTE issues on my 6P. Certain spots will drop to 3G and not return until I switch to 2G then back to LTE.
