You replace the contacts apk and mms apk with that one and they'll both show the desktop wallpaper as the background (transparent)
I've been running them for a good while now and refuse to run without them.

Having a Restart button for the Nexus 4?

I have the 4.4 AOSP installed but what I wanted to ask is:
Is it possible to add a Restart option when I pressed the power button like this?

You have to wait until Xposed Framework become compatible with Android 4.4. There are probably PlayStore apps that can do that, or enabled root for the Terminal app and type reboot.

Download Booster with root?

Anyone know of a mod or looked at a way to get download booster working correctly with root? I know we can enable through hidden menu, but it doesn't appear to do anything.

It seems to work for me. Ignore the speed, I have a bunch of stuff working right now, but the point remains.

How to get root permission like CM does?

Hi,
I want to get root permission in my app. I googled for a while, and only find one solution, that is to use the "su" command. This method will popup a dialog like this:

Libsuperuser by Chainfire is by far the best way to obtain root permission for your app. FYI the question you actually asked has absolutely nothing to do with getting root access. I suggest you dig through the CM File Manager app source code on github.

Root Explorer Force closing

Root explorer fc every time I try to write to external sdcard (sdcard slot - not the internal memory).
I follow the steps just like it states in the prompt and every single time it force closes. I Google it trying to find solution / see if other people are having same issue and no luck.
I downloaded ES Explorer and it works fine but issue continues on Root explorer.
Help please.

Ok, resolved... you have to use the regular "explorer" app which has fix for this issue..
