Hey, don't an issue with the camera, but the camera on 1080p runs abit choppy and when I switch it to 720p it's alot smoother, is there a way where I can limit the camera to 720p in order to have Snapchat record smoothly?

Hi!
I have a question.
I have a galaxy s4 i9505 and want record in slow motion 720p but the quality its very poor.
In other case, the Moto x first generation have only dual core, but can record on 720p slowmotion 60fps.
Why S4 with more performance and hardware cannot record in 720p?. Anyone can explain me that??, its possible change the resolution to 720p?
Thanks you!!
It has nothing to do with the CPU nor how many cores it has, it has to do with the camera sensor, i don't think the S4 was ever advertised to be able to record in slow motion.
Then, if sensor feature, but if can record on 60, 120, 240, why cannot record in 720p 60fps at least like moto x sensor.
It possible modify the software to record on 720p??
Thanks you!
I can't believe that i can't find a way to record 1080p 60fps video with this phone. I tried open camera but veifying it in vlc showed that it was still 1080p 30fps. It's pretty disappointed that my every phone i've had since g2 from 2 years ago could do it but i can't get my brand new phone to record in silky smooth 60fps. Is there a mod or an app out that can actually do this?
The G4 plus supports slow motion video at a very low quality I guess it's 520p. I wanna ask is it possible to record slow motion videos at 720p?
Anyone notice pixelation when zooming in on photos and videos only on 1080p 60fps?
If I change the fps to 30 all photos and focus works fine
Having done lag on stock camera with 4k default settings, no lag with 1080 30
When I mean lag there's a micro stutter.
Gcam 4k is smooth.
Anyone else notice this
Yes I also noticed stutter during video recording it is present in the video also when I've viewed in gallery.
Sample here
Stock default settings 4k30 not good enough

What version of gcam do you use?
For me gcam produces unusable videos. They are super laggy and stuttery.
