I9500 wifi not turn on - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I have I9500 and I can not turn on the WIFI, I tried to disconnect the battery, I tried to start in safe mode. I also did a factory resat and the problem is not resolved.
I'm with version 4.4.2 stock + root.
Thanks!

I burned a now rom, including erase all data- The problem is not resolved, and burned CM12.1- The problem is not resolved. I am afraid that this is a hardware problem.
Is this component- http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-Gal...042068?hash=item33b6226f14:g:3dYAAOSwubRXH8SL
Responsible only for the WIFI or also the Bluetooth?
me Bluetooth works great.

[Q] Can't turn phone on

After having a lot of problems installing froyo when it came, i finally found a solution. But after the update, i can only turn my phone on when it's connected to PC or power supply.
Does anybody have the same problem, or maybe a solution ?
You have pulled the battery out and put it back in (maybe waiting half aminute or so)? Does it work after you disconnect it from the charger?
It might be a battery stats problem. there are som galaxy s users with a similar problem, and a factory reset/wipe has resolved the issue for some people.

Unfortunately it didn't work. also, my adb doesn't work, i can't root my phone and can't use it as a disk drive on my PC
I've tried to downgrade it to Eclair, and tried to use fake-flash, but it says that signature verification failed.

Sudden WLAN failure

Hi,
Phone was doing great and overall it was really awesome experience. Suddenly I noticed I cannot turn wifi on. After restart phone started to bootloop, reflashed system, restored twrp 4 days old backup - nothing worked. I wiped everything even sd card, still bootloop. Sim cards seems to work but only in 2g.
Board check says SD and WLAN fail, device status says WIFI mac address is unavailable.
Guys, any ideas how to fix it or is it hardware issue?

[Q] LG G6 H870 | Turning on WiFi does not work, but "/data/misc/wifi/config" is ok

[Q] LG G6 H870 | Turning on WiFi does not work, but "/data/misc/wifi/config" is ok
After Reboot from TWRP, it was no longer possible to activate WiFi.
The "/data/misc/wifi/config" contains the correct MAC address, Bluetooth works.
Neither a factory reset nor the installation of another ROM solved the problem.
What can disable WiFi permanently regardless of the ROM and correct configuration file?
How do I reactivate WiFi?
Details:
- was on "Fulmics ROM 4.2" with TWRP from Eliminater74
- flashed Magisk-v18.0.zip, wiped Dalvic and cache
- after Reboot the WiFi switch can no longer be activated
- Factory reset does not help
- flashed "Oreo 8 OPEN EU 20C ROM" with factory reset, which hasn't helped either
- checked "/data/misc/wifi/config" - MAC present
- pulled misc.img, checked at HEX 600 - MAC present
- checked hidden call menu - MAC present

I turn on airiplane mode, then 2 seconds later turn airiplane mode off and wifi works.
Matt
Unfortunately this trick (activate WiFi in flight mode) does not work.
But thanks for the idea! :good:
During my long research I had read somewhere that WiFi worked again on a LG with the same symptoms after disconnecting the battery cable.
I don't want to try this during the warranty period.
I know why I don't like fixed batteries!
I probably have no choice but to install a KDZ firmware, lock the bootloader and send the phone in for repair.
Or does anyone else have an idea how I can bring the WiFi back to life?
I have now flashed H87020c_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0817.kdz and locked the bootloaders again.
Even after a final reset to factory defaults, WiFi stays impossible to activate.
Any further suggestions before I send the phone in for repair?
The smartphone has now been repaired under warranty.
Parts of the hardware were defective and had to be replaced.
