For now NO, Lenovo said in facebook, Lenovo A6000/plus will be upgrade only lollipop. Maybe after 4-5 months will be got MM. But for now lenovo said , our model will not upgrade to MM.

May cm developers lunch official cm 13 for lenovo a 6000/plus

this phone will hardly ever get to update marshmallow

Nope .. for now Our model only limited to lollipop... But may be Lenovo Will..
but i Hope CM... Should give our phone an official Rom .. in any version .. Cm11_,12,13 .. it would e great

I think it is not possible

Lenovo a6000plus not getting marshmallow update they confirmed me

10 months they can't fixed all bugs in lollipop, you want marshmallow. Lenovo upgrade android only one version.. If our phone will launch with android 5.0 , maybe now we will have 6.0, but they launch a6000 with android kitkat 4.4.4 and upgrade only android 5.0. Maybe we have chance to got 5.1 but 6.0 impossible. We need to wait for custom rom vibe ui 3.5 with android 6.0. I will hope soon launch new update with all bug fixed, like kitkat. No battery draining, no heating issue, no lagg. Good perfomance.

I asked too, they said no such update is planned.Even a6010 and a6000 se are still on 5.0.2 :/
I guess somebody could try crossporting from a6020(vibe k5,the snapdragon 415 version),since both have snapdragon 41x with a53 cpu, both have adreno gpu,rom should boot even with some bugs.
Anyway, the best would be to get official support from cyanogenmod, redmi 2 already have it:
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=wt88047

Lenovo have official support from cyanogenmod , but only for ZuK models... Lenovo bad support. I hope with next update , lenovo yo fixed all bugs in lollipop, because for now last Lollipop update can't use for daily use.....

Lenovo is never going to release Marshmallow for A6000/plus. It didn't even received 5.1.1 update rather Lenovo came out with a new model with 5.1 i.e. A6010.
So if you want to be on stock, just wait for a bug-less 5.0.2 LP
Else you can try custom ROMs. ED300 has developed custom KK and LP CM based ROMs. Both are quite good. And he's working on Android M too. So just wait for him to finish his work, and enjoy the pure Android experience on your Lenovo.
Also you can try MIUI 8 5.1.1 for Lenovo A6000/plus. It's quite beautiful too and it receives weekly OTA updates.

[Q] Lollipop Update???

Well saw some reviews on Youtube they said the company is not sure if Yureka is going to get Lollipop Update as the company has no confirmation from Cyanogen as well as Cyanogen has provided no info about lollipop just some bugs fix updates we will get every month?
Is it true?
YU and CyanogenMod actually stated the YU Yureka as one of the first devices getting CM12(Lolipop). So yes, It will.
rahul sharma in YU launching already stated YU will be 1st to get cm12. so don't worry cm support is for 2 years we get regular updates for 2 years..
Yeah, Of course it will! They've stated it a ton of times...
confused by the false truth
cm12 has been already out for many of the device as i know till date and yureka is not the one to have cm12 update or is it...dont know...
check the link so many devices to have cm12 whether its stable or not no probs try visiting cyanogen download page

Correction The builds out now are alpha builds. They still have a lot of bugs to be solved .Wait till cm 12 gets stable ie the milestone builds.Once that happens we will be blessed with lollipop
lolipop update ?
is there any news about lolipop update onyureka mobile,
Waiting
yu will get lollipop May be in june-2015
As per Cyanogen Yureka will be the first device to get 64bit CM12..
so it is clear that Yureka will get CM12 but not sure it will be the first device to get it.. may be Oneplus One

Highly unlikely as there are no Condor releases for CM11 at the moment.
@percy_g2 will port CM12 for Condor, hopefully sometime soon, read this thread for more info (search for "CM12" in that thread).

I'm starting to think that we will never get our android 5.0 or CM12... a lot of devices got it already, and got official Cm12 nightly... and our Moto E still on CM11... :crying:

Motorola announced that Moto E will get Android 5.x, chances are that we will get it during this month, for CM12 it will probably take more time for an unofficial stable release. What worries me is that Android 5.x comes with ART runtime and Dalvic is no longer included, and because apps take more space on ART having just 2GB of space for apps will be very limiting. Hopefully we will be able to move apps to SD in CM12 and Android 5.x.

I figure you're going to expand on this at some point. Might be worth noting the unique features as well as the bugs of each rom if possible.

So did the rom work ?
@Shrihari007
I installed some random Chinese AOSP 5.1 ROM.
It was laggy while opening any apps. Almost 3-5 seconds of pause before any app opened. So went back to stock.
Now I am installing this V4 ROM compiled few days back
AOSP_V4_XANCIN.zip
Download from here
Credits to this guy xanperican if he is also on this forum.
The ROM is damn good and basic things like Dual Sim, Wifi, Accelerometer and sound are working correctly. Try it yourself.
Only issue is we need to manually turn down the brightness.
Plenty of K3 roms here
I maged to find a good collection of roms for Lenovo K3 though the site is spanish only. I gueess here is where you find Googlee Translady come in handy.

mine is 920F imported.
As its 920F, I flashed XEF build as soon as it got released.
Bro why you waited so long?
Big LOL on this news
There is already a Marshmallow thread here

Might be better to discuss it in there rather than open a new thread and risk getting flamed

Great, thank you! Android 7.1 on nexus 7 is already miracle... So 8.0 will be a miracle in square
Unlikely that there will be Oreo for N7 since google changed kernel requirments to 4.4 in R2
@tomcis147 for new devices rolling out with Oreo ..
last Android 7.0 ROM i tried was super laggy comparing to pure nexus based on Android 6.0 so I'm not even going to try 8.0
