I have this Note 3 sm-n9005 that i have bought a year and a half ago. 7 monthos ago, I installed lollipop manually with Odin and today i have a problem with booting it. It boots after 9 or 10 minutes and it shows a message unfortunately com.sec.imsservice has stopped working and it stays like that for a while and it restarts again. I even tried booting it in safe mode and clearing the cache and data of contacts and com.sec.imsservice but it happens again and again. What do you think i should do?
It is some instant messaging app. Maybe uninstall all IM apps.
And wipe caches. If that doesn't work.
Try a factory reset or install a new rom.

I have a Verizon Galaxy Tab SCH-I800 and I woke up today and it was missing some programs that I had installed the night before. Launcher pro keeps crashing so I had to put the Samsung Launcher back on. Now random programs all keep crashing and locking up the device. I performed a factory reset through settings -> privacy -> perform factory reset.
It restarts and goes to the samsung bootloader and I performed wipedata/factory reset.. It says it does it but when it restarts its in the same condition as before.
I've booted directly to the bootloader and tried it too (volume up and power key). I've also tried to wipe cache with no luck..
Any ideas? Can I root it and put a custom rom on it? I saw that there really aren't any roms for the Verizon tabs.. Any reason why?
Thanks for any help..

I'm in the same boat..half my apps crash when you try to open them. I've wiped the data partition 3 times, and the cache as well..not avail. Apps are still on the device after a master reset!

I had that problem, and I wound up sending it back to Samsung. It appeared to be a bad part on the board, so they replaced it and it's on its way back now. Not the answer you want, I'm sure, but call it in and get your RMA number.

On your new Tab can you perform a hard reset and have it actually work?
my sprint Tab seems to be in the same boat
Hello,
A few hours ago, the 3 minitframework app had a message that said that my framework was out of date, so I downloaded the 3.2 version (wich is the app version), flashed it and my phone started to reboot itself over and over again. I tried reseting setting, wiping chache and dalvyk cache and also flashing back the old framework but nothing seems to work. I also tried rebboting into safe mode but when my phone is in the main screen, it reboots itself again and again.
Please help me with this issue cause I dont now what to do.
After reboot phone I got msg
"Unfortunately Google play has stopped working"
After that I've to factory reset the phone to get it worked. & reinstall all apps with setting & personalization. Even without reset, I have to add Google account again after that I see all apps in factory mode like again setup whatsapp. & others. Phone internal storage app work but phone partition storage apps doesn't works. So I have to erase everything by resetting then reinstall everything. It happened twice in 4 days. My phone is 15-20 days old. It happened first on 10th July then again today.

It's a huawei Y300,successfully rooted and installed over 6 months ago.Today I uninstalled two applications via the Slimsomething menu and when it rebooted,it stuck there.
Tried rebooting, taking battery out for more than minute, booting into Clockworkmod and clear cache.
What can I do to save messages calls app data etc before doing a factory reset?
Update: Still not fixed
I got a rooted LG V20 H918 still on nougat, I rooted almost a year ago with no problems. About 2 weeks ago, auto-rotate stopped working, I fixed it with a restart and about 3 days later it would stop working again and I'd use the same fix.
UNTIL, 2 or 3 days ago, it stopped working, a restart would't work and I searched the web all over trying every solution I could find and none worked. Then my phone got really hot and started restarting on its own every few minutes. sometimes its like a full restart and sometimes it feels like a soft reboot and much quicker. Everytime it would restart it would say "Android is upgrading 100%".
I then decided to go into TWRP and wipe the cache and dalvik cache, this was my SOLUTION. hurray! My phone took about 10 minutes to start after the dalvik cache wipe and Auto-rotate was finally working, my phone wasn't overheating, and everything was normal.
Until Today! It stopped working and restarting all over again I really don't want to have to keep wiping the cache and dalvik cache every 2 or 3 days.
Im thinking there is an app or something is stopping the gyroscope from working, so when i wipe the cache it temporarily works until it catches up again.
Any ideas on what I can do to find the culprit?
Edit #1: Cleared cache only in TWRP, didn't fix the problem. Just cleared dalvik cache waiting for reboot.
Edit #2: Just cleared Dalvik cache, still not working, now none of my solutions are working. Don't know what to do.
EDIT#3: I found my solution, the only reason I state it's temporary is because the last two things I did that fixed it only last a day or two. Although, I remember someone mentioning after they uninstalled nova launcher they never had a problem again. But I had Nova launcher forever and never had a problem, I think the problem for me started after I Installed the new version of Youtube vanced and micro G, so I disabled Nova launcher, vanced, and micro G. Restarted my phone and so far my auto-rotate works. Hopefully, this will be my permanent solution.
EDIT #4: Stopped working again.
TLDR: Found temp fixes, none work anymore. auto rotate don't work and phone restarts maybe every 5-15 min.
bump?
Interesting thread.
I have very similar problem with my G4.
Did you find solution for it?
I'm thinking of disabling gyroscope but don't know how!
