Hello,
I have the 64GB Nexus 6P - unlocked BL, haven't rooted yet, all stock. my recovery somehow doesn't work. whenever i try to boot into recovery i get red exclamation mark... that's weird because fastboot and device is working normally. i've even tried to reflash stock recovery image and TWRP and both doesn't work. help please? thanks in advance. I'm on may patch if it matters.
Edit: nvm, after a few attempts to flash TWRP it worked. admins, you can delete/lock this thread.

Just for your knowledge:
The red exclamation mark with an Android bot, is the initiation to the stock recovery. That is where you will need to press and hold the power key, and tap the volume up key once. Thereafter, you shall see the stock recovery (It should look like below).

Help Please:
Recently I need to install JDGC_U6_2.13.0_SIGNED_USAJRDNPRCB1B50AA039.0R_JORDANAPCNCU_P017_A042_M006_HWp3_Service1FF.sbf because my phone was dead and someone tells me because I´m stuck on BL6.
I followed the steps of this post: [SBF]BL6&Froyo sbf!!! We can now use froyo kernel and green lense camera with bl6
But my phone is on boot loop (hearing the chinese irritating sound). I cannot come back to JORDN_U3_97.21.51.sbf because I got only white led.
I´m stuck, how could I revive my Defy (MB525 Red Lens)?
Did you wipe data and cache in stock recovery? (Hold volume down when turning on, and keep pressing until you see the android triangle. Press menu button to show recovery)

This is a really good animation that should help a lot of confused Defy owners. Perhaps it should be stickied?

It's normal for that to show up when you flashed a custom recovery and root.
Is it giving you bootloop or boots just fine?

You have the OTA 5.1.1 update?!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Did anything get figured out with this? I'm bricked too and can't do anything about it because the 5.1.1 firmware isn't out and I can't figure anything else out to fix it.
I was able to acquire the following files...

Flashing these finally brought this hopeless nightmare to an end.
I had the Kingsroot + SuperSUME = FAIL brick condition and this saved the device (it wasn't even my device, I was fixing it for a friend). Let me know if anyone is interested.
I don't know what happened to my phone. From what I've read, I think its boot loop? I had recently edited my build.prop file. However, I found this was completely unnecessary and was going to overwrite the build.prop file with one that I had backed up to a micro sd card previously. After I did this, I was stuck on the screen(see image). I tried using android recovery mode. I tried "wipe cache partition" and wipe data/factory reset. Afterwards, I tried to reboot from recovery mode, and I saw the word error and the screen was stuck again. I've removed the battery and nothing works. Is something like adb the solution and if so, can someone link me a guide that's really noob friendly. My phone is rooted and this happened after I overwrite the build.prop file and restarted the phone. I have never flashed a rom. Thx in advance.

Similare problem here
I have a similar problem, but a little different...
Rooted the phone and then tried to flash TWRP using their official app., It stated that everything was successful and asked if I wanted to reboot into recovery. I tapped yes so I could make my first backup., Now the phone starts and shows the logo in your image then goes to a blank screen and thats it... Cant boot into recovery or bootloader or anything...
Any advice out there, or do I now won a brick?
I also have this problem and I can not do anything, neither recovery nor odin ...
Hello,
I followed the guide at http://https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138.
I went from having TWRP installed and just having blinking white LED to now booting into Android recovery screen (shown here)

Now that I'm at the Android Recovery screen, someone mentioned I should just be able to hit wipe data/factory reset option and it should boot me into the OS. However, what actually happens is the unit reboots, shows the motorola sign, buzzes, goes black, shows the motorola sign again, goes black, then boots back into Android recovery screen shown.
I'm not sure how to continue troubleshooting.
The one thing that stuck out to me is it said "Flash signed images after reboot if needed"
Is that what I'm missing? If so, what does that entail?
Any help is much appreciated. Concerned I may have fully bricked the phone.
Thanks from your frustrated friend,
Connor J.
P.s. Model # is XT1625-SS
I realized I forgot to add the model number which is XT1625-SS.
I've bought another moto g4 in the meantime that I'm using.
I originally went wrong by installing the SuperSU in a link from a youtube video that was a link to an older version of SuperSU.
So I know I messed up there.
But I'd like to know if there's a way to remedy it because other than my failed tinkering the hardware on the phone is perfectly ok.
