Error recovery mode after upgrade to Custom Android 6.0 - Lenovo A6000/Plus Questions & Answers

Hello I had stock ROM on my Lenovo A6000 (Kitkat 4.4.4).
I decided to upgrade it to Android 6.0 Custom ROM (url below)
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a6000/development/rom-marshmallow-based-resurrection-t3355850
I flashed recovery.img and wipe all data according to manual, then I installed custom ROM. Then I tried to install Gapps, but I made a mistake and I downloaded ARM not ARM64 gapps. So I turn off the phone, put my SD card into computer and copy correct Gapps. After goes to fastboot mode (long press [volume down] and [Power]) I tried to wrote "fastboot boot recovery.img" from PC.
There was an error following:
downloading boot.img...
OKAY[1.059s]
booting...
FAILED (remote: dtb not found)
finished
Click to collapse
Now my problem - how can I reinstall to different ROM (Android 5.1 based) if I cant even go to recovery? I tried to turn on the phone - it works (without gapps). I tried to go to recovery mode <3e> : not successful, phone keep restarting only.
Command: fastboot devices works (PC see my phone attached). Is there any way to install ROM (located on SD card) via fastboot commands? (FYI: if I turn on the phone, it shows Lenovo K-something - not A6000, and "adb devices" cannot see it)
I have single sim version (1GB ROM, 8GB RAM)
Please help. Thank you.

Tutorial
To do that follow the steps bellow:
KDZ Updater method
1. Boot in fastboot mode and execute the commands bellow:
- "fastboot -w"
- "fastboot erase system"
- "fastboot erase boot"
2. Reboot from fastboot directly to download mode (Power + Volume Down key)
3. Connect your phone to your PC and open KDZ Updater
4. Select any fastboot ROM
NOTE: YOU CAN NOT FLASH A NORMAL ROM!!! YOU MUST USE A FASTBOOT ROM!!!
5. Flash your rom in "Emergency Mode"
6. When finished the phone will reboot automatically
Recovery method using my brother's recovery file
1. Boot into Recovery mode
2. Wipe your user data (Factory reset)
3. Choose the update.zip file from your SD Card. You can download it here
4. After the update is done, reboot the phone
The ROM is V20A, so it supports Portuguese language.
Hi,
I have the same problem here.
I have upgraded to SwiftDroid 2.3.7 using fastboot command, because there is no boot logo and no recovery in my gt540, after updated with clockwork recovery rom.kdz. But the rom worked just fine.
I had problem the day after. My GT540 won't boot, it only vibrated and when I plug it to PC, Pc recognized fastboot mode. So I downgraded to frenchV20C.kdz without using fastboot -w fastboot erase boot and else.
Now, my gt540 is bricked, it only vibrates when I hold power button, and nothing happen. Can't boot into fastboot mode now.
Any help would be appreciated.

No mm rom will work unless u first upgrade the default cyanogen software from cm11 to cm12.1 since the bootloader of cm11 is 32bit and cm12.1 is 64bit and all roms mostly are 64bit so they wont boot
So follow the above steps you mentioned the same way but first flash cm12.1 fastboot images and boot then you will be able to flash any rom

Hearty thanks for your reply ,cuz i spent more than 5 nights on this but couldnt make it ,now I got clarity about the problem I'll try to implement what you said but how can I update to 12.1 n after that how to root and install twrp or cwm and finally thanks thanks thanks a lot for ur reply
I tried with several KitKat roms
I also tried to install several ROMs, which are based on CM 11, but only 2/20 ROMs have worked.
Rest 18 are not working, and they get stuck up at the 2nd boot screen.
How can I resolve this problem?

1) download cyanogen os 12.1 fastboot images from here http://builds.cyngn.com/factory/tomato/cm-12.1-YOG4PAS3JM-tomato-signed-fastboot.zip
2) download flashing tools from here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B48lBYmwzkD5cVA1dVFvU0plTW8/view?usp=sharing
3) extract files of both zip files in single folder
4)connect your phone in fastboot mode and check all drivers are installed
5) now open flash-all.bat and let it run
6) if everything went fine then you are done (first boot may take 20 mins after flashing )
7) use this for more http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/development/windows-yuware2013266073-t3193757

Latest and greatest flash method

Hi everyone,
I am running a HTC Desire HD with Android 2.3.5 branded SFR (Vodafone France).
I went through many forums and I am currenty having a hard time to find the latest / easiest / greatest method to flash my device in order to get rid of this crappy ROM.
Can somebody help me finding this and also suggest a good ROM to run this device (Cyanogen ?) ?
Thnaks in advance.
Obviously my questions is either not interesting or already answered or just out of date ...
Hoping to receive some hints though ..
Still going through several posts trying to get it.

Salut mon cher
The same as I one Month ago. 2.3.5 Android with all posibel HTC upgrades, radio, kernel and bootloader and Vodafone102 branding
1) unlock bootloader at www.htcdev.com
2) Install ADB on computer. And conected the ace/DHD via USB. To test type on the /Android/platform-tools path "Fastboot devices" when the ace/DHD is in Fastboot mode.
3) install TWRP.img rename the newest XXXXX.img file into twrp.img, moved on the /Android/platform-tools path, type "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"
4) Searche the Rom you want (Cyanogenmod with Google-app`s) go inside the CM xxxx.zip file and copy the boot.img into the /Android/platform-tools path.
5) copy the two Roms (Cyanogenmod with Google-app`s) on root of the sd card. Reboot into recovery (TWRP is starting), mount everything (not SD card) and wipe everything (not SD card).Install CM.... and gapp...
6) reboot the ace/DHD into bootloader (Fastboot) and go in the /Android/platform-tools path and type "fastboot flash recovery boot.img".
7) reboot the ace/DHD into recovery and wate till the recovery is installed.
My ace/DHD is S-on and not rooted with CM 12.1 and Lollipop 5.1.1, but if I start the ace/DHD I must start in recovery during booting but during using, everything works fine
First I thought I had to root the ace for flashing, but unlock bootloader is nessesary and that`s enaugh

(solved) LG G2 D802 always boots into recovery and is not recognized as fastboot

Hi,
I have installed many custom OSs on my D802, but this time I am stuck.
The phone always boots to recovery (TWRP 3.3.0.0).
I am trying to install any OS (ideally LineageOS 16) but I am unable.
What I have tried:
1) Copied the lineage-16.0-xxxxxx-nightly-d802-signed.zip to the internal card and installed it from there. All completes well but phone still boots into recovery
2) Tried to install it with ADB and Fastboot:
- ADB devices sees it as '09824281 Recovery'.
- When I boot into bootloader, fastboot devices does not see it at all (even though I have installed the USB drivers)
3) Tried to use ADB SideLoad, but the installation of lineageOS-xxxxxx.zip fails after 3%
Can you please assist?
Thanks in advance
Fixed!!!!
I found a thread that helped:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help/recovery-bootloop-ota-update-to-nightly-t3555149
It consisted of typing a command in the TWRP terminal.

Fastboot Failed (data transfer failure(unknown error)

Hello and thanks for inteterest to help. (My phone Redmi 2 Prime)
So to the point, i have my phone installed custom ROM. And today when i try to reset factory, it stuck in the MI Logo (Show and then turned off). So i forgot to flashing the twrp again last time, so i left it without any recovery. The only way is repairing it with Fastboot and installing TWRP. So i start installing all driver and flashing. But, when i want to flash twrp to my phone, it keep showing me this
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
flashing 'recovery.img'
FAILED (Data Transfer Failure(unknown error)
DONE! 5.8 sec
But it doesnt installing any recovery. I have installing MiFlash driver. Is there any driver that i should install again? Or anything that i can do? Also my PC doesnt read my phone storage at all, it doesnt show in the explorer, but can read "my phone" and my phone model. And I'm using USB 2.0. I also have try USB 3.0 but it doesnt work too.
Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for the long post, eh?
Try to temporarily boot into recovery by this command
"fastboot boot recovery.img"
(If it boots to recovery then you can flash any zip)

Thank you for replying
So i've try it, but why its stuck at 'downloading boot.img' for 2 hours?
Can i download the boot.img manually? If yes, what should i download?
Can you share a photo of error.
Or you can try miflash to flash stock rom. Then you try to flash twrp. I suspect there would be something wrong with your recovery partition.(i also had similar problem while flashing different roms.)
Ok, so when i flash stock rom on miflash, at average 70%, it show me "fastboot.exe has stopped working" and show me error 0x80004005('Error flash system.img')
Why, godness? Is it because my laptop is only having 2GB Ram?
Or is there any ways to flash TWRP with fastboot without UBL?
