Download supersu me from play store it will remove all of King roots garbage and put in a real super user that should solve your issue it cost 1$ but the developer who made it is amazing and always helps people with there issues and he was one of the first people to successfully root a phone that was considered unrootable the note 4 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=darkslide.com.supersumepro

You might be able to find it for free on xda forums because when it first came out it was free while they where trying to root the note 4 I'm not sure if it's still available free but it's well worth paying a dollar to remove king roots from everything I've heard king root has malicious code that steals information from your phone and sends it to China

[Q] Note 3 [SM-N900P] special brick. Dire need of assistance.

Hello, I know for a fact that there are other "help me! I bricked my note 3" threads out there, but I have concluded that I find myself in quite a specially convoluted situation.
All the following occurred with me coming from a stock 4.3 rooted rom.
My story begins when I attempted to flash Fre3 4.4.2 ROM using TWRP. The rom included the"beastmode" kernel. Well, after flashing I ended up stuck in the bootloader screen with a "Set warranty bit: kernel" error. Being such a huge noob as I am, I googled for a solution to this, and I ended up with a flashable .zip that was supposed to fix such kernel issue, upon inspection of the zip file I found a clean_efs.sh script. Then again, being such a noob I had no Idea what "efs" meant, and against my better judgement, I had flashed it anyway..
Long story short the previous made me end up with a bootloop, which prompted me to restore my nandroid from my stock 4.3 rom... At first It would give me an error regarding the MD5 checksums, it prompted me to disable md5 verification, which WAS disabled, yet the same error persisted..
As a last resort I tried to use ODIN 3.07 with the stock 4.3 release, it was flashed successfully, but as soon as it got to the "Sprint" bootlogo, it would reboot itself into an infinite loop.. Afterwards I tried to do a data/wipe/factory reset form the stock recovery which was done successfully. Afterwards the phone booted past the sprint logo and all i could see was: The status bar with the signal bars with a red cross, a completely black screen, and a dreaded "Process system is not responding" dialog. Tapping on "wait" or "stop" just closed the dialog and the phone rebooted regardless.
I am pretty much stuck at this point... Please I beseech whoever has solved such an issue to help me, I am not really able to afford another note 3, but I can afford to reward anyone that can help me solve this(that desperate I am:fingers-crossed...
And to make matters worse, I am getting the galaxy gear for Xmas....go figure..
P.S. I still have a NANDroid of my beloved 4.3 and it does have an EFS backup, I have no way of knowing if it is corrupted or not... Also I'll attach the "clean_efs" zip so you can tell me how a huge noob I am(not really just for reference)...
Are you on the 4.4 bootloader? It's needed to boot Touchwiz 4.4.
Flash a TW 4.4 ROM via Odin, wipe data and restore EFS.

The last (successful) ROM flash since this mess was literally years ago with my HTC supersonic, so sorry if i sound like a total noob but, can you elaborate? How do i find out what version of boot loader I am on? With flash a TW 4.4 ROM do you mean a recovery? I already odin'd the 4.4.2 stock wonder if the recovery would make a difference? Also since its a stock ROM need i not to be rooted for everything to work properly?
Sorry for the total noobness but i think that's the best way to approach it so not to get anything wrong..

It won't boot at all, i stopped and sought help after i flashed 4.4.2 with Odin since then it just stays at "booting recovery".. The phone WAS rooted on the stock 4.3 but now i posit it is not. It is the SPRINT variant (SM-900P). I made sure to flash the proper ROMs for the carrier but still ran into this mess..

Sounds good! Comforting to know that there ate folks out there willing to lend a hand.. I'll get Odin 3.09. That was also one of my major concerns, Odin. Since there are a whole bunch of contradictory threads that state that version x doesn't play well with my phone and vice versa.. Hope that it works..
Also i find that kies stuff weird, both kies 2 and 3 asked me for a serial number, i just do not know what is the exact version i need, but maybe I'll try again with a clear mind..with such a brick scare i couldn't think straight..

I understand your concern i bricked my vibrant long ago and i bricked another note 2 long ago so i learned when to be scared and when to be relaxed about it if the keys doesnt work now its probably since your phone wont boot normaly so it can't detect it properly thats why we gona use odin and flash the firmware on it and that will get you booted back up so then kies will see the phone and it will boot it to download mode on its own and do the update ,once thats done you can root it install custom recovery and such .

I really do not mind, whichever might render less issues is OK..as long as it can be rooted safely and supports xposed.. But is kies going to fix the efs? How will it do that? I thought imei/data in efs is unique..
It fixed mine i lost my whole efs folder and i went from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 via kies and when i rooted my phone i checked and there it was efs folder with everything in it.Im running 4.4.4 with xposed and blu x 2 theme made for this rom and i have zero issues ( knock on wood) lol

Funny, in the past I turned my SL101 into an expensive brick by using CWM...and now its the abslute opposite...I have Odin flashed every recovery herehttps://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/hltespr/and none detect the efs partiton on my phone....whenever I yap on "Restore" and choose my backup the log reads" E: Unable to locate partition by backup name: 'efs'

[Q] Is there an easier way to root the Lollipop build, regardless of Knox tripping?

Yes, I'm aware of the SafeStrap/SD card method, but it's horribly inconvenient, especially since it wipes your phone. I'm near the end of my warranty anyway so tripping Knox doesn't matter to me. Is there an easier method to root, even if it does trip Knox?
I was reading that a root method for the Note 4 on VZW is coming out soon, and they said it works on the S5 Lollipop, but until it's out, no.
Makes sense, I figured the next (convenient) root solution would come from there or perhaps the S6. Guess I'll keep rolling with 4.4.4 until an easier solution pops up.
It doesn't wipe your phone, it reflashes the kernel and installs bloatware

I am sure Verizon is no longer going to sent updates for this phone since it is not a new phone but if I was able to root will that stop all updates if Verizon was sending them?

The difference is that the files in the mega link are prerooted. When you flash the prerooted system.img then it roots your phone. Once you have a rooted device then you can follow the bootloader unlocker thread and within 10+ minutes you'll be unlocked. After unlocking you can flash TWRP recovery and any ROM for your device.

Have you done what you claim? It's funny all the developers on here say it's impossible.

There is an official ASUS unlocking tool that I know for a fact doesn't work for everyone. It didn't work on mine after trying many times. That's why the unlocking method I'm describing above was created. There was a whole lot of work that went into those methods by a lot of really smart people. I don't think they would've done all that if it was just as easy as flashing TWRP and SuperSU.

You have to download the full zip file and unzip it to get the system file.
