last night i connected my phone LG G2 D802 to lg pc suite i was running kitkat after connecting it to pc suite it showed me a update for the phone i pressed yes it took so long to complete so i slept in the morning when i saw my phone it was on setup wizard i tried to click on next but touch was not working properly somehow i completed the setup wizrd and tried to calibrate screen but no use then i went to the stoeage it was only showin g up 10 gb usable out of 32 gb then i checked my imei it was also missing there were no signals? how can i fix these issues how can i get correct rom for my phone without imei
Your issue is basically a wrong updated firware it can be fixed i did the same mistake when i got my lg g2 here how is it done first you need to open the back cover of your lg g2 meaning the back casing of your phone because sometimes the model written inside the firmware or maybe at the back of your phone can be wrong it also happened to me i tried to update my lg g2 using the update tool and this error arrived touchscreen is unresponsive nothing is working no imei no baseband my phones back cover says that it is d802 but when i opened it it was actually ls980 once you got the correct model no go download the firmware it is about 2gb approx so you have to wait once the firmware is downloaded flash it using these methods just make sure you are using the correct method

And here is the firmware make sure to download the correct one your phone was basically running on a custom rom but due to the wrong firmware which the update tool detected it caused the hardware to not function properly
If you got any Q/A reqarding this method feel free to contact

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my i9515. Sometimes (randomly) my phone freezes during a call then I hear crackles sounds like from modem...screen turns black and phone is not responding. I can reset it only by battery removal.
I've spotted this issue on Lolipop and Kit Kat so with different modem firmware.
Can anyone help me with this? How to troubleshoot this issue? Its not happening on every call but randomly
Is there any good apk to run logging in backrground?
Thanks
Change the calling setting screen off

Dear all,
I have seen many people talking about this issue but I still haven't found a proper solution or the final confirmation that this is an hardwere issue.
Here is my situation: I bought the phone 3 months ago in Dubai (I think it was from UK and unlocked at that time). Immediatly after the purchase I rooted the phone using Heimdall on linux and installed CM12.1 nightly (I lost warranty in this process and activated knox trigger, so I cannot send it for warranty).
Everything worked perfectly for around 3 months when, after frashing the 23 december 2015 nightly updated, phone started acting wierd with sound: I have sound everytime I boot but it disappear after a random amount of time (1 hour but even less or more). I tried to upgrade to CM13 but same problem, also LolliROM stock but nothing, so I decided to go back to stock firmware I9505XXUHOJ2_I9505ITVHOJ1_ITV. Unfortunately it didn't fix my issue and still the sound is not working most of the time, I also flashed different modems and bootloaders and I lost WIFI, so now I have no wifi and broken sound system.
Now I would like to collect all the information coming from your experience and finally fix the issue (if possible) or eventually establish that this is an hardware issue and the only way is to send it back to Samsung for repair.
Cheers
Try flashing another modem and bootloader.
Go here to find them. Look through the last pages to find the latest ones.
Here you can find a guide on how to flash them. Worked for me every time.

Make sure the modem is GSM and LTE. It's the LTE one that may fix your sound and wifi. That's why it is called wifi fix.

I have already done that, tried more than 5 different modem/bootloader, no luck. I have tried everything, also stock firmware from other countries, nothing. I am trying a deep clean now and, as last card, to go back to KK stock firmware. After that I will be out of ideas.
If nothing works it might be a hardware failure
Hi!
I just received my Nokia 6 TA-1054 yesterday. Unfortunately turning it on, it has a 7.1.1 on, with a patch from 2017-Nov-6. No update since.
Tried several method to get the OTA going, like factory resetting and wiping the google services framework cache after startup and checking. Tried VPNs different regions. Alao tried with and without simcards, before and after a factory reset. I did not tried an other carrier sim yet, but it did not get an update before I inserted my SIM so I'm not full of hope here.
My question is: Can I check if I have the original rom or had the shop installed some other firmware that would break the OTA?
Thanks for any suggestion, cheers!
Maybe I'm just thinking for myself here, but I figured if the device came with Play Store preinstalled, it ahould be some custom rom isn't it?
By the way Nokia support said the device should bbare an original ROM. They needed the IMEI1 to check. Can they know from the IMEI number alone?
Same problem

I have the same problem with my phone. I purchased it in China without knowing that it's a customized ROM. I want to receive OTA updates. Any suggestion?
Well, I sent mine back to the local vendor, because laws in Hungary allow me to do that, and puchased a gloval version from amazon.de.
The main reason to do this was that the china variant is not in the android one program.
As a solution, because global version started to roll out, if you can't switch the phone, I'd just wait until someone dumps their rom, and would try to flash that.
You could try flashing mena region firmware on your phone there is one for your phone in google drive folder use ost tool
Flashing ta-1054

THis link does not work. Any link to the rom? I can download and flash and report back. So far I have tried Lineage, and project treble.
I've just bought a TAB4 8 (TB-8504F) and it has the PRC system image on it. Before I take it back does anyone have the stock ROW image. I've tried looking for it on the lenovo.ru site but had no joy there.
Thanks
When you say lenovo.ru, do you mean that or lenovo-forums.ru? If the former then look through these - http://lenovo-forums.ru/files/category/283-lenovo-tab4-a8/

Hello,
So I recently rooted and installed a rom on my Galaxy S8 (extreme syndicate method). But I wanted to unroot and go back to stock so I downloaded a firmware from sammobile and flashed it using odin (I only added the BL, AP, and CP files during flash) and now it gets stuck on the samsung logo at boot. Can't enter recovery (can enter download mode).
So I think I'm not downloading the correct firmware for my phone from sammobile maybe? I have tried 4 different firmwares (2x android 9.0 firmwares - gives the stuck on samsung logo issue and 2x android 7.0 firmwares fail to flash correctly in Odin)
How do I know the right PDA or CSC version numbers for my phone without being able to get into it? I'm in Australia and it's a SM-G950U however not sure of the origins of the phone (could be an import, not sure).
Or any other things I could try to get it back to stock?
Thanks!
Well you need to go to about phone and look at build number. And when you flash the firmware flash csc. You rooted and dont know what build number you have? The firmware you flash has to be on the same bootloader of the current firmware you have
Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Thanks for your reply.
So I followed the instructions here to root forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/development/root-t4060701 flashing the G950USQU7ASK1 firmware and worked fine.. I am unsure of the stock firmware/build number for this phone though. I can't find any compatible firmware on sammobile either.

I suggest getting your Stock ROM not from xda, but from Sammobile. To find your ROM on Sammobile, you need your phone model. You can find your phone model in Settings -> About phone. It's called "Model number". Then, use that to find your ROM on Sammobile.
The reason why your flash didn't work, is because you may have left out "CSC".

It's me again. So this is the page for your exact model: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s8/firmware/#SM-G950U
But it only seems to have ROMs for USA.
However this other version of the S8 does: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s8/firmware/SM-G950F/XSA/
I suggest using the latter link. It's for a S8 from a different market, but it'll work regardless.

The latter link you posted isnt even for his model. If your gonna post info. It needs to be the correct info.

If you used extreme syndicate method you are on or near the latest firmware. Despite being 7.0 you are still on the latest. So its gonna be a bit 7 firmware. 5th digit from the far right end. Will be a 1 through 7. You need any firmware with a 7.

If your on windows. Google and download frija its fast and quick for latest firmware. So much better than Sam mobile or any site.

Dude, I know. I mentioned it in the reply.
That ROM will work on their device anyway, and it has the latest security update.
