Is there an app/widget that displays the processor clock speed?

I know that you can use SetCPU to change the clock speed. But now I want to actually see the clock speed so I know that it is working.
Is there an app?
Overclock widget
Thanks yo!
And this won't interfere with SetCPU? Meaning, the two aren't going to battle for control of the processor?
SetCPU comes with a widget that displays CPU speed. Change the Active Refresh Interval to something besides passive.
As far as I can tell, the SetCPU only displays the settings. Like it will display the low setting and the high setting. You are saying there is a setting to display the current clock? I am going to look for it now. EDIT: I don't see it. Please advise.
Also, the Overclock widget doesn't ever seem to change. It is just stuck at 246, which is not correct. Uninstalling.
I edited my post to show how.
I really appreciate it.
Get it working?
I did, but I'm wondering about it's accuracy.
I have one profile set up, and one only. That is: when the screen is off to scale back to 245.
The main screen ranges from minimum to maximum and has Set on Boot checked.
However, the "real time" display on the widget only displays 245.
Is the widget wrong, or is my setup wrong?
I'm not sure. Mine is set on performance, so it stays at 1152mHz.

CPU Temperature on HD2 ??

Does the HD2 support reading cpu temperature and is it available with any android build / software available at the moment??
questions belong in the questions section.. easy answer is yes it does, some of the software you can use is setcpu. it gathers cpu info and displays temp in widget format in either F or C temp readings

oops thx for reminding will ask there, I use SetCpu but could not find any widget for it.
SetCpu reads CPU temperature if kernel and hardware supports it, therefore I am asking if HD2 and any available Android version does.

It works for me using battery indicator.
ya knolw how you add widgets to main screen by long clicking on a spot on main screen? press widgets on the box that comes up, then scroll down and press setcpu and apply and you'll have your setcpu widget

Thank you
Using Setcpu widget and it shows a temperature, but anyone can explain why under all conditions the temperature is exactly the same with 5 battery widgets showing battery temperature
I think there is only 1 temperature diode or sensor available and some software say it is cpu, some say it is battery temperature

dont get what you're trying to ask, but shouldn't it be a good thing that all the widgets are showing the same temperature? it proves that its taking the data from somewhere and not just showing some random BS temperature..
Yeah, I think most people believe SetCPU is measuring the CPU temperature because it's called SetCPU not SetBattery, but the temp gauge is actually the battery temperature, which is why we get a range of around 90f/30c. I don't know of a way to have programs or settings actually respond to actual CPU temps, but I'd love to do the same if I could. I'm guessing that it's either not available or not easy because SetCPU is using the battery temp instead of the CPU temp which would be a lot more helpful. This is also the problem with setting the Temp value in SetCPU profiles because it's responding to a value away from the issue (high CPU temps).
What you will find is that if your environment is stable you will see the battery temp go up as the overall operating temp goes up, so it's not useless, just not useful.

Few questions / work-arounds for missing functionality cm10/matr1x+pie

Deets:
Nexus 4
cm10.1, matr1x
UV'd + modded brightness
ok, so ive been having a problem with cm10 & pie. i have expanded desktop always enabled, with status bar always showing.. but when i type, it shows a gray bar above the keyboard (size of navigation bar / spell suggest) before i type. its intrusive & takes up needed space..
the only way to get around this i found, was to disable the suggestion in keyboard settings.. is there any fix for this? i need the suggestion bar. im new to the whole touch screen era lol
2nd issue: not sure if caused by pie.. but when i go to type something, switch app via pie>task then back to typing, txt indicator shows, keys light up but txt doesnt come out.
also how r peoples battery??
ive been messing with my phone for a week straight now and managed to tweak everything to get 6-7 hrs screen time (screenshot will come soon. in the middle of a cycle now: 4hr48m screen time with 37% left)
my setup:
for when im outdoors i disable brightness mod & use 75% brightness. for indoors, i mod brightness below stock.
trickstermod:
modded low brightness [r100,g100,b100]
cpu freq min 19200
cpu freq max 102600
cpu uv around -250 completely stable. reboots @ -275
average bat/cpu temp is 30-36 no games, 34-42 with games / 35-43 no games 40-50 with games;
black wallpaper / darkest possible everything ui-based
email+apps set on manual refresh
data always on
no widgets on homescreen, just one page. apps in folders.
average day consists of 1-2hr total outdoor use with mix of: 40-1hr of gaming, the rest is fb, email, msging, web, music, bluetooth, phone. every other hour is inside use with mix of web, msging, fb, music, casual gaming
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app

ISO an app for voltage based battery percentage

I know there's Battery Monitor, but that app is 15MB and I want to replace all my apps on my phone for lightweight ones. No need to have an app hogging 15mb RAM for a widget that shows
Code:
(Vcurrent-Vmin)/(Vmax-Vmin)
in my status bar.
(I need a voltage based based battery percentage because of my extended battery pack.)
Does nobody have any idea?

CPU Temp displayed in Status Bar with Cool Tools App Help

Hi Guys,
I was just wondering if anyone knows the path to the CPU Temp for the Nexus 6p in the Cool Tools app?
I am currently keeping track of the CPU temp with the ElementalX App however it is only displayed when I scroll down to the notification drawer and I would like it displayed in the Status Bar.
Thanks in advance!
