Strange problem I am having.
I am running Eclipse 3.0 on my Galaxy S4 (4.3) on SafeStrap 3.71 in ROM-Slot 1. I purchased Nova Prime - and tried uninstalling the launcher to install the prime, was unsuccessful and every time I attempted installation of it, the phone would reboot. I have referenced several threads and nothing allows me to uninstall the launcher. I thought this was a problem just with Nova, until...
I tried installing my paid version of Titanium Backup (cause that was a suggestion to use to uninstall the launcher) and even after uninstalling the free version, I went to install paid version, restart occurs without the installation.
Also, just tried to install my purchased version of XDA Developers, same thing. The download completes, but in the middle of installing, it reboots.
What could this be? Let me know what other information you need.
(NOTE - I just switched from my droid bionic to this S4 that I purchased from someone)
I am running 3.0 when there is a 5.1 available. Oh dear. Will flash the updated ROM and let you know.
Update: Unable to get that ROM up and running. WIFI would not turn on and network wasn't showing. Looks like I am having to learn from scratch this phone I have. Nothing going to be easy... yet...
must install module for paid apps

In order for phone not to reboot you must install xposed and the module play store disable encryption on order to stop the reboot when installing paid apps this is a issue with the ROM on GS4
Known Bugs
Safestrap users will need to use Modaco's paid app encryption module for now

After rooting the Note 4 for the first time with the stock rom, all apps I try to install get stuck on the "Installing..." screen, even in the Play Store they do the same for upgrading apps. That happened shortly after I installed the Xposed Installer ( being that the last app I could install on my Note ).
As I am writting this, one of the apps jsut installed but it lasted 2 hours, I know it isnt any connection issues because Im triying to install apks already downloaded. Please some help, I'm new to Samsung phones coming from a Nexus 5 and I find this a little bit messy.
Thanks for your time.
Personally for me xposed caused more problems than it solved. That would be my first port of call.
It may be worth checking your security settings, they may also be blocking your installs.

This happened to me too in other samsung device. Try this:
- Go to SuperSU - Apps - Forget Wanam Xposed.
- Go to Wanam Xposed app and give new root perms and update it if you need it.
- Reboot your device and try to install new apps. I think you won't have more problems. Good luck :highfive:

hi ,
i agree with JagDave that it seems that it could only be Xposed Framework .I stated in other threads ,that Xposed does not "play nicely " with Note 4. It will either break "something/app " when installing/installed or uninstalling ..?.
I had Xposed break apps eg... S health ..Private mode ,lag or as what you described above ..not installing apps /stuck on installing.
I had to use " work arounds /fixes /patches" ....Wanam ( Secure storage ) and then my device( N910f Note 4,)was working 100%. ,but to me it is not worth it and I uninstalled it( then it broke my Google Play app on uninstalling ! ) ,
Further i noted the dev ( rovio89 of Xposed stated in "earlier " post )that he was not going to" update" Xposed re the Dalvik /Art ( Lollipop ) issue .?
If you look at at his last stable update for Xposed framework it has been "months " back . (No wonder it "breaks " apps ...it was last updated ,before Note 4 was released( and thus not " optimized" for Note4 ? )
I have Xposed installed on all my other " old " devices and working 100% and i am happy with Xposed Framework , but Note 4 ..? (no ) and i can understand the dev rovo89 " issue" if it is worthwile further developing re Dalvik ?
I would rather wait for the dev ,to enabled Xposed to work with Art and re install it then .?
Bottom line.... its your decision to install or use workaround/fixes !
good luck
Thanks everyone, somehow after a few reboots and some time the problem fixed itself, I also managed to get S-Health to work properly but the Private Mode won't work since the Knox counter is triggered, something related to being rooted, as of yet there is no proper fix for it.

When I had all the problems with xposed, I also lost private mode. I restored my nand (1st I made after rooting) and both s-health and private mode work perfectly.

Hi.I've got an Old Grand Neo Plus Gt-I9060I Running Cyanogenmod 13.It have a Very weird Problem Which seems a Challenge for all devolpers.2Days ago I tried to update my Facebook app via playstore. It downloaded but after completing the Download it got stuck on installing and then my mobile Turned off.It restarted but was stuck in a Bootloop going infinitely.I solved the problem by booting to recovery and Removing /data/app and /data/data folder.I want to remind you that all apps works flawlessly and I have never experienced such weird problem in My entire life on Even the most unstable ROMs.Never Mind. Then I downloaded The apk From Apkmirror and Again Tried to install then again another weird problem started. The folder in which the apk was started acting strange.I could access the folder Via terminal but By "any" file manager the app Stopped Working.Even the browser (UC Browser)acted strangely and exited as.I Again Tried to install and The same problem Occurred again and again. No matter what method i use to install the filemanagers and The phone was always stuck on bootloop.I am now searching for what or why it was caused on google and all forums but it Didn't work at all.If anyone can point me in the right direction or give me a soloution.I'll be thankful for that.
