Android N stock to TWRP?

So i installed Android N via OTA update. Now I think my want my root back. Is it possible to flash TWRP now that im on Android N? Do I have to go back to marshmallow and flash the android N zip?
You can flash TWRP on android N but you will also decrypt you phone or you won't be able to access TWRP. It does not work on N if your phone is encrypted you will be stuck on the TWRP splash screen. You will have to wipe userdata and then flash unencrypted boot image, then flash TWRP, then su and you will be good.

sounds like wayyyy to much work. ill downgrade lol
If you flash all the .IMG files in fastboot with the exception of recovery, and the format userdata and cache and reflash twrp you can stay encrypted and have twrp. Then just shellac side load adb and flash su.

Have you done this?
I dont want root, I want to keep the ability to continue having updates whenever they come out. But I'm uber annoyed at the hotspot restriction I have. There's a way to remove it with twrp but I was never able to boot into twrp because of encryption.
Yes, this is how I have my phone setup, I am Fully encrypted and have TWRP booting and able to flash. This is how I root N and don't need to decrypt.

Can u give step by step method for flashing TWRP on N ??
This is not a step by step for flashing twrp on N there are plenty of those just use search.
This is how I flashed twrp without flashing any kind of modified boot.img on N.
Start on stock MM. Flash twrp.
Download N build and extract all images. Flash all partitions except for recovery. Reboot. See if you can boot to recovery. If it hangs at twrp logo Format userdata and format cache and reflash twrp. Optional: adb side load latest SU for root.

How do I install any other ROM on Redmi 2 Prime currently running MIUI 8?

I am currently using MIUI 8 and i hate it.
I want to go back to Resurrection Rom. But the problem is when installing, i think i used wrong command and flashed the boot image (fastboot flash boot).
Now if i install any ROM other than MIUI 8, it does not work. Goes into bootloop. I can boot into TWRP recovery using fastboot. But after successfully flashing my Resurrection Rom, the phone starts, MI logo appears and it reboots again after a screen flicker.
Please advise on how i can install Resurrection Rom again. Also i can only boot into recovery using TWRP 3.0.0, any other recovery like Stock, Philz (CWM) are not working. I can only boot into recovery using fastboot boot twrp3.0.0.img command.
Thanks

I edited the question. I can only boot into twrp 3.0.0, all other versions, other recoveries are not working.

If fastboot method is not working for 3.0.2.0 version then ,Just try to flash t.w.r.p 3.0.2.0.img (download from here)by flashify or rashr app. Then reboot in to recovery and flash any custom rom.
u can also flash recovery image file by your existing recovery.
And why using only fast boot command?U can boot to recovery by updater app or button combo.

How to flash miui using twrp?

Hi!
I have my device a few days ago and I wanted to flash globerom (alias smiui), but when I tried to flash it in twrp it gave me strange installation logs and when it finished it killed everything except fastboot (I couldn't boot into system, recovery and the power-and-volumeup mode) I flashed twrp again and restored my old backup and than it fixed everything, but when I tried to flash a newer miui (the one can be downloaded from miui.com) it did the same. So what can I do than?
I don't want to do flash in fastboot, because a corrupted fastboot package killed my previous redmi
Is there any risk less method to flash miui roms in twrp?
Thanks for all the answers in advance!
P. S. : Cm13 worked well
I prefer flash a fastboot MIUI ROM compared to a recovery MIUI ROM
Did you disable "DM-Verity" in TWRP after flashing and first start?

Custom Rom to Stock OOS flashing advice?

Normal 6T currently running Cr droid no magisk or kernel.
Basically due to this a/b partitioning stuff flashing instructions seem to be really weird and mentioned in 99 different ways. So I was wondering what to do if I just wanna revert back to stock rom.
My original plan was to format data completely in twrp.
Fastboot boot twrp
Flash OOS
flash twrp
Reboot recovery again
flash OOS
Flash twrp
then boot system
and potentially install a kernel after that.
I wanna clean flash so I don't want methods that may allow me to keep my data.
Thanks you in advance.
Flash fastboot ROM

You just need to reboot recovery after after formatting data. No need to fastboot TWRP. I agree though using the fastboot ROM is my preferred method as it will do both slots at once.
Step 1 of my Lineage Install Guide covers using the fastboot ROM. However if you are more comfortable using TWRP anf flashing it twice, do that.
