Recently I read that the moto e 2nd gen (xt1528) should come as an unlocked device. Well I had updated to 5.1 , which apparently locks it from gsm use. Thanks to the wal-mart guy(THANKS DUDE), i was able to convert my moto e (2nd gen) to be able to use my sim. When I have tips i will post them
Thanks XDA. (YOU LIVE)

Hi,
Has anyone made any effort to extract the different radios for the moto e yet?
Thanks.
Made a bunch of tutorial videos for the Moto X 2nd generation and wanted to share them. Hope they help.
I used a pure edition for all of these videos

This is for all moto x 2014? If not, maybe the supported models should be on the topic.
Does this work for the XT1097 from AT&T??

Missus has the 4G 2nd Gen Moto G ( I have the 3G 2nd gen xt1068) and she wont allow me to flash it lol, even though I've never killed mine (well not totally!) anyway is there people that need a Easy Installer version for the 4G 2nd Gen XT1072 and what version of 5.0.2?
as in i can make but will need a tester
dear diary.....
I think these poor people need a good custom rom...
As all roms are made for the non-LTE version and all further version will be made for the Moto G 2015.
But seriously: They surely need an installer too but I didn´t own this model but a friend of mine, maybe he is willing to test it.I´ll ask him.

What version of them the Moto G4 Plus do you have? I mean, XT1642, XT1643, XT1644 (there are different versions). Furthermore there's only one leaked soak test update file, which is eligible for several versions of G4 and G4 Plus, but not all of them!

Why don't you download the other file (that is for your Moto g4 plus) and flash that using stock recovery?
guys, I seriously need some answers here.
I just bought a Moto G4 and now I'm getting totally confused by posts like "amazon won't allow any bootloader unlocks" and stuff like this. Also the motorola unlock website seems to be taken down
(Or do I just need to follow these steps: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-a) ?
Can anyone tell me, if I can still install LineageOS on my Moto G4? 2y ago I flashed my Moto G and everything worked fine, so actually I should be familiar with the process...
Thanks!
Edit:
Ah, there is a "Moto G (4th Gen.) - Amazon Prime Exclusive" - nice info. And jeah: following the instructions above did get me to an unlocked Moto G4
