Hi everybody
I have some troubles regarding the Screen off app on my Samsung Glaxy S7 edge.
I've been using the app on my SGS6, to swipe to lockscreen/screen off no problem (Nova launcher)
But on my new SGS7 edge it requires my pattern everytime I use my fingerprint scanner. This was no issue on the SGS6, just passed the pattern.
If i just switch off the screen with the off button on the side, a pattern is not needed.
Anyone else having the same issue? And do enyone have a solution or reason why?
Thanks in advance
/Lars
Same here but don't know why

Its because of the last update and security they put on the 3rd party apps.
Hope they fix it in the next update.

hello everyone, my name is opey i'm kinda new to the whole Samsung galaxy s4. I'm on 4.3 right now and i want to be able to use a cam lockscreen widget so i can have quick access to my cam. I can't figure out how to get the widget to my lock screen. can anyone help me out with this?
Well I don't have my phone nearby. But I think the option is at on the second tab on the settings screen. I think it's called my device. And in there is option of lock screen and there you need to check option for enable lock screen widget.

My wife has a s5 and I love how the camera option is there rite on the pinpad lock screen. I want to get that on my note3 but without flashing the s5 port ROM. Had anyone had any luck with this. I tried the xpossed module but it didn't work.

Moving from a Note 2 to Note 4 is a joy in terms of the upgrade to the features. One feature that I miss though is the ability to have shortcuts to applications right on the lock screen. This allows one to access the app from the lock screen with a single swipe. Unfortunately it seems like in the Note 4, such a shortcut is only available for the camera. Grateful if anyone can enlighten on how the app shorcut feature can be implemented in the Note 4!

Thks! How do I add applications to the lock screen using this method? Only has options like home, recent apps etc.

I've been wondering the same thing. I can't think of a single reason that they would get rid of the shortcuts. I even tried the module on the Xposed framework that fixed the shortcuts for the S5 but that didn't work either. I'm really looking forward to a fix.
The best thing is that it seems like you get more shortcuts when you have the S View Cover on. You'll be able to access heart beat sensor, torchlight etc. Maybe it's a marketing gimmick to get people to buy the cover

My wife recently got a Galaxy Edge S7 after being on an LG device for years. She wants to center the app tray icon on the bottom panel like it is on LGs. Is there a way to do this without installing a home screen launcher replacement such as Nova or Google Now?
Thank you, I tried googling for the answer but it didn't find anything useful.
This is my clever signature.
I was using the Samsung Good Lock app to configure my lock screen. That app seems to not be available in Nougat. Long-pressing the gear icon in the notification window does not appear to work (again).
Is there a way to get to the advanced lock screen settings in AT&T Nougat?
Thanks!
