Xiaomi Redmi Note 4g Single sim Global not turning on - Redmi Note Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So got the phone about 3 days ago (used). Phone was running MIUI 5(KK). Updated to MIUI 7(KK), rooted and made a nandroid backup. After that installed [OFFICIAL] Resurrection Remix v5.6.8-20160511 (MM) and pico gapps. Phone worked fine for basically the whole weekend. Last night turned off when battery was about 10%-15%. Won't turn back on. When connected to charger it won't respond. Battery is BM42 3100mAh.
PC won't detect it
Tried removing the battery and putting back in
Used different chargers and cables
Currently trying to charge the battery with an external charger
UPDATE(1): battery charged to about 50%, still not booting.
UPDATE(2):Tested the battery on a 3g(mediatek) redmi note, works fine. Must be hardware *sigh*
Thanks

[Q] Nexus 4 Charging Issues...Both Wired and Wireless (more than AC vs USB complaint)

Basic Info: I'm currently running **[4.2.2][CM10.1][LINARO]Team Asylum CM10.1 Nighty, build date April 18 (Had recently flashed lastest nightly, then started noticing my charging issue, and flashed an earlier version to see if that would fix it.. it didn't).
The problem: I let my phone on my wireless Energizer Qi charger overnight. Charging indicator lights all went on, and I went to bed. I woke up the next morning and noticed that the phone was only at 37%. Putting the phone on the wireless charger, i noticed it will light up, then turn off, then light up, then turn off. Figured, something wrong with the charger/case, so I removed the case and tried again, same thing. Tried attaching to computer via USB, and the same thing happened, the connection dropped in and out. Now I have it attached to wall outlet, and the same thing is happening, especially if I move it around.
I managed to get it to a consistent charge (says USB though its plugged into wall..) by leaning the phone up against something, but if I move it it cuts out...
I first was thinking maybe there's something wrong with the microusb port, like what happened with my HTC Evo after a while.. but the same thing happens with the wireless charging.. So, I'm not sure what to do.. Whether it's a rom issue, a hardware issue, a kernal issue.. Any thoughts on what I should do? Wipe battery stats?.. RMA?.. Complete nandroid restore?
Adding: I have Snapdragon Battery Guru on there.. if that's relevant to anything.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiam.snapdragon.app&hl=en

UPDATE. Flashed francos milestone 2, and the problem seems to have disappeared.
UPDATE 2: jk it's still doing it.
I've had the same issue for about a month now. I removed the snapdragon battery guru app and it doesn't do it as often now but it will still do it. I also calibrated my battery with a battery calibration app when it became fully charged and now it will only do it about once every three days. I don't really have any other advice than that, all I know is that my phone started doing it after I finally caved and flashed a kernel.

I have the same issue and I'm completely stock and unrooted. I will wake up in the morning and the battery is at, say, 80%. Unplugging the a/c and plugging it back in doesn't help at all. I have battery widget reborn and it tells me my battery is charging at 1% per 30 minutes. This morning I hooked it up to my HTC 8X charger and it immediately started charging correctly so I'm inclined to believe it may be the charger but it could've been coincidence since other times unplugging and replugging it works. Some other times I have to power off and then on in order for it to work again.

strange battery behaviour

Getting straight to things.
The phone does not charge or charges fully when switched off.
It has happened many a times that i have kept the phome to charge at night and in the morning, thats a solid 8 hours, thr attery is only about 50-70pc(sometimes even lower)
Just yesterday .. tr phone stopped carging at 68%.. it still shows the charging animation.
Even right now, i used the phone a little and switched it off an kept it for charging
But the battery has bumped only to 75% (even after 180 mins)and refuses to go any further...
Also noticed is that many a times the phone is pretty warm when i wake up in the morning
On the other hand
Charging with the phone switched on seems fine and takes the usual 2hours to cpmpletely charge
Any ideas what might going????
Using the stock charger
Miui rom and modified franco r165 kernel(little ramdisk modification to work with miui)
Thank you.

[Q] My Nexus 4 start freezing overnight while connected to a charger.

Hello,
Last 3 nights my Nexus 4 keep freezing over night while is 100% charged and connected to the wall charger. It happens only over night as when charging through the day it doesn’t freeze or have any issues.
Yesterday I’ve flashed the phone with the lollipop v5.1.1 factory image, then with the TWRP v2.8.6.1 and Semaphore kernel v3.2 and today again found my nexus frozen…
Freezes are not caused by a recent flash, I’ve been with these setting for a month.
After flashing I could probably exclude software issue and it might me the charger or worst?
I appreciate any help/advice
I've installed an app from the Play Store called Safe Charge by Todor Kolev and today everything was fine. I'll go completely stock to see if this was Kernel related, then change the charger and if there is something interesting will post again.

Note 4 n910f battery charge stuck

Hi all my gf just bought a brand new note 4 it's came with lollipop and it charged fine however I updated it to marshmallow through the manual update and since that it won't charge past about 78%.. I them have to remove the battery reinsert it and then charge the rest with the phone turned off till 100%..
I've read on another forum that it's seems a problem with the marshmallow update. I've tried clearing the cache by booting into the recovery but made no difference.
Anyone know how to fix this.. would using a custom rom do it been thinking off putting one of the note 7 ports on it for her.
At the moment everything is fully stock no root and still got know
Thanks
Calibrate it. Empty it completely and then charge it again
Thanks will try it. Does the phone have to be on or off for charging after I've emptied it
I drained the battery till it wouldn't turn back on left it off while charging and it got stuck at 73% have to keep disconnect and reconnect the charger to get it to charge more

Oneplus two charging way too slowly

So this problem first started when I first flashed boeffia's kernel on top of the official cyanogenmod. The only thing i changed was the kcal settings (I like a little over-saturation). But, since then, my oneplus two charges very slowly no matter what i do. I even set the charging current to 1250 in the app, but still, it was taking almost 5-6 hours to charge fully; and even then, it would not go to 100%, but stay at 92-94 and stop charging altogether. Tried draining the battery, deleting the batterystats file, nothing.
Frustrated, I switched to Resurrection Remix today, a rom that ran perfectly in the past. Plugged the phone into the wall, apps updating over LTE. after a few minutes, I saw the percentage dropping from 36 to 33 and just staying there.
Currently the phone is off, and the battery has only gone up to 12% from 10% in the last 30 minutes.
Anyone ever face this problem? Any help at all would be much appreciated.
P.S. I only flashed the rom and Gapps(mini). nothing extra.
edit- It's been two hours now and the battery's at 18%
edit 2- Battery at 20% after 3 hours. I've turned on the "show battery percentage on lockscreen" in RR. Now I don't know how accurate that is, but it's showing "charging at 1500 mAh/hour max". Now I'm literally pulling my hair at this.
I faced a similar problem after flashing dirty unicorns
Well i solved it by clean flash oxygen os 3.0.2 and changing the charging adapter it solved my problem and i flashed other roms like bean stalk.rr i dint have charging issue anymore

Trying to flash OOS 3.1.0 now... Also, I noticed, after leaving the phone plugged in, the percentage at the charging screen said 43%, but after turning it on, it was just 27%. So it's just a software side problem. Just maybe. It ain't easy getting reliable usb-c cables where I live.
P.S.- did you fully discharge/charge again after flashing? Also, nowadays we can directly flash OOS from CM with the official TWRP, right? (Haven't tried OOS in 6 months)
followup- Flashed OOS 3.1.0. Still not solved. Charging still too slow.
Also, since I have access to engineering mode (#808#), I can see that the phone is charging at an avg of 220mA from the wall.
Is my cable busted?
Currently it's going up 1% an hour(while off)
If the cable is indeed busted, can someone suggest an replacement? Idon't seem to be able to find any in amazon India.

I clean flashed the oos rom. charged it all night when morning it was 100 percent i did a battery calibration which u can find in playstore.i let the battery to drain with normal usage now i changed the charging adapter i think its 2.4amp charger i dont think there is problem with usb cable.its charging at normal speed if screen off will charge fast like 10-100 percent in 2 hrs
Guys stop wasting time flashing go directly to the cable/carger.
Battery calibration is practical useless

Solved. It was the cable. Tried a MI5 cable and "pass" finally showed up in engineering mode.
Have contacted service, will get a replacement later this week
