Hey guys! I am running 6.0.1 AOKP ROM on my A6000 plus, and wanted to revert to KitKat for a few days. I found this site
http://www.techolite.com/34431/lenovo-a6000plus-pure-stock-rom-recovery.html
And downloaded Lenovo A6000 plus KitKat stock Rom. However, while flashing this ROM via TWRP, I got an error that the zip is corrupted. So I downloaded it again, but it gave me the same error What's the problem? I did factory reset and wipe all cache and Dalvik cache before flashing, so why won't it flash?

I too always have some problem while reverting back to stock kitkat. Try this cwm recovery. Flash the stock KK using this. It'll surely work.
And, in case, you can flash this recovery, just boot into it at once by using
"fastboot boot recovery.img" in adb and fastboot tool on pc.
And then wipe system, data, cache, dalvik cache and flash ROM

Hello
I had a problem with my phone earlier today where it would reboot one or two minutes before it started, so I install twrp recovery and tried installing Ota 009 which I found here on xda, how ever now I'm stuck when I'm trying to install it?
Thanks in advance
Did you flash the whole ROM or only the OTA file?
For the latest version (2.1.2), as there is no full zip, only the incremental file, you need to flash the FULL 2.1.1 and then directly the 2.1.2 in TWRP.
You can flash only the OTA file alone if your system is stock and untouched (no root / TWRP).
In your case you need to flash the whole ROM then the OTA.
Check this thread -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/rom-mirrors-official-oxygen-os-roms-ota-t3209863
I'm trying to flash Oxygen OS 2.1.1 the full rom but it just get stuck in TWRP nothing happens. Im using the rom from that thread you just liinked
Try wiping dalvik cache, cache, system, and data. (NOT INTERNAL STORAGE) then flash again.
Update: i Fixed it by myself. Thanks
Hello! i am new here. i have samsung galaxy s3 neo i9300i. updated to android 4.4 with TWRP installed. i wanted to flash cm 12.1 rom by "Rox". but he wrote in order to flash one need to change the partition from ext4 to f2fs which i followed but didn't find in TWRP wipe>advanced>change partition there are others but not f2fs. because of this problem i have flashed the ROM & GApps & they both flashed successfully but when i rebooted the system, download mode appears. did rebooted several times but the problem was still there. plz help me. i want CM 12.1. THANKS
WTF.... Well, guy, you needn't to convert partitions, you only have to wipe data, dalvik and cache and flash ROM & Gapps.
If you want to convert, convert only data and cache... idk why you haven't this options... Well, I never converted this files, and CM12.1 is working fine.
not working

i tried but when i flashed, its stuck in the download mode. just like Rox wrote i did that. nothing more.
Did it by myself...
The problem with my phone was the TWRP 2.7.1.0, + due to root ota updates not worked, so i downloaded another rom 4.3, flashed it, updated to kitkat (ota), flashed TWRP 2.8.5, flashed the rom (cm 12.1 by rox), flashed the gApps... now it's working... Thanks...
So I flashed cm-13.0-20160820-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO0J9-Z00T.zip and gapps nano. Booting time goes on for about 30 minutes before rebooting. Ended up restoring back to stock ROM. If it helps my bootloader is not unlocked yet I can flash custom recovery. Tried wiping data, cache, dalvik, system, asdf before flashing. Tried wiping cache and dalvik after flashing. Still stuck at ASUS logo ("powered by Android").
How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.
Other Info:
Android Version: 6.0.1 (Marshmallow)
Recovery: TWRP 3.0.2-4
1. Flash stock recovery
2. Sideload stock Rom
Upgrade recovery to TWRP 3.0.2-5 if you want to flash CM 13+ based ROMs and unlocked your bootloader if you can so you won't have any problems in the future.
I can still boot into twrp but can't get OOS to run. It's asking for a factory reset but don't I have to be in OOS to do that?
You need to flash stock firmware and wipe via stock recovery, backup userdata first
I figured it out, thanks.
Before going into the subject, I'll say that I have tried to seach this matter in XDA and Google, but nothing showed up.
Okay, so my matter is that I can't restore my backup of stock rom(8.0) after I flash a 8.1 rom. I've backuped with official TWRP "recovery-3.2.1-2-oreo.img".
My procedures are :
back up stock 8.0(system, data, cache, efs) with official TWRP "recovery-3.2.1-2-oreo.img"
flash oreo rom(with wiping internel, data, system, cache) and boot it fine.
restore my stock backup with same TWRP
boot system
The results are :
Goes past boot logo
Boot animation('android one' with colors sliding) shows up
and... just infinite loop of boot animation.
The ROM I used is RR.
I think the main problem is related with encryption.... Just my thought, tho.
So what I'm asking is :
1. If you face the same problem as me?
2. If you aren't and you restore goes fine, please tell me your procedures including ROM used and TWRP used.
3. Whether it is safe to decrypt stock rom?
Thanks in advance!
You don't need to flash stock ROM again. You have a system image backup(system, data, cache, efs), right? Wipe data , system, cache if you are coming from any other ROM. Then reboot to bootloader. Boot into latest TWRP from Fastboot (don't flash). Then go to restore and restore the system image you had backed up. Don't restore efs if you haven't lost your IMEI.
I've done exactly as ypu told, but it doesn't boot...
Did you manage to restore without problem with your method?
Yes I was able to. No problem here.
What TWRP did you use? Also, what ROM have you flashed?
Used the latest TWRP by MohanCM for Oreo. I did it when I was on Lineage os and wanted to go to stock
@guy_infinity Okay, thanks for your answer! Gonna try out later, once more.
Hmmm.... Still didn't boot up.
I thought I had to do everything from the begining, but flashing stock with save userdata option rescued me.
P.S. does anyone know about the error E: recv error on uevent?
try flashing stock rom using mi flash and after flashing restore normally using latest twrp/deadman's without system image voila everything will be back
@arjunbalan1994 Big thanks for your suggestion! Will try that too later
Hi, did you solve your restore problem? I have the same w/ my Redmi Note 5 and stock Miui backup after flashing RR.
Thanks for your help
I was use 8.1 root and twrp recovery. Yesterday fastboot flash may rom and update 2nd may OTA
Don't understand : May rom is Miui rom?
And did you restore your miui rom 8.0 backup ith twpr after the fastboot flash stock?
