Hi. Is it possible to have a setting to just have WCDMA and LTE enabled without GSM?
Hey guys, I have a bit of problem with my network settings. I've just received a mail from my telecom that says that I'll be able to use 4g now (finally!). But I can't change my settings to support that for some reason... I'm able to chose GSM/WCDMA auto, WCDMA and GSM but not LTE to support 4g.
What can I do about this?
I want to change the LTE band of my device. For eg. The present LTE band of my device is band 3. I want to change it from band 3 to band 40. How to change it?
There's no such thing as "changing LTE bands"

You either have bands 1,3,5,7,8,19,20,28,38,41 (XT1562) or 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,17,28 (XT1563) or 1,3,5,7,8,19,20,28,38,40,41 (India)
Your phone will use the best band available at any time.
I watched a video on youtube. He changed the band on his samsung phone.
I have the G935F and am on T-Mobile... is there any way to enable band 12? Confirm it's enabled?
You dont have to do anything to enable band 12 other than put the sim in. I use the app LTE Discovery to see what band it is using- I am connected to band 12 on T-mo right now on my SM-G935F, rooted...

Go to settings>more>mobile networks>network mode and select wcdma only If you don't have signal than probably that phone doesn't support certain frequency the one your carrier uses for 3g, that happens when you buy phone on foregin country or your carries simply uses some other than usual frequencies.
