That looks like an Odin file in a zip. Are you sure it's a ROM? Look inside the zip and if you don't see a folder titled Meta-INF, then it's not a ROM.

It's a ROM, there's a Meta-INF in it.
That is an Odin File. I have the exact same file saved on my laptop. It definitely will not flash through recovery.

You can get the image file out of the stock firmware. Put that into a zip file and flash it in your custom recovery. Use the nb1 firmware.

Thanks for the information, I guess I didn't explain it well. I currently have to recovery image, stock or custom. I tried installing a custom recovery but failed

OK, you're going to have to odin the stock fromware. Use the NB1 tar file, you can find it in the general forum. This will wipe your device.
I had a feeling that was the only thing I could do. Well thanks anyways.
Just as the headline says, are the TWRP .img files flashable with the Android application called Flashify?
Or should it be done via Odin?

I only use flashify it's the better way never a problem, open the archive file , extract recovery.img and flash it with flashify

I don't see why not, their description lists flashing recovery.img files as an option

I have flashed the .img file of the TWRP Recovery several times via the Flashify app. And TWRP have worked perfect everytime after that. So i haven't come across any issues or problems by going that way so far.

Which was your stock rom before? That's good to know otherwise you can brick your device. There are fastboot flashable roms available.
