Is anyone or can someone create a twrp flashable update with root with the new 6.0MM update just want to put the idea out there also at least.
There is a T-Mobile version.
Haven't tested it yet myself, though so I wouldn't know how it is.
MetroPCS G STYLO MS631 Stock kdz firmware – Android 6.0 M – ms63120b
Available for download;
You can use LG UP to install the Update.
OP wants a flashable zip through TWRP and to keep root.
oh snap...what is lg up? can i just use the lg flash tool? another question, i thought i read someplace that using the kdz will leave me with an unlockable bootloader...anyone know if thats the case? or will i still be able to unlock it?

Hello.
Bought LG Leon (LG H342F) recently and its my first LG phone.
I'm used to Samsung devices and now i wanted a nice device with 4g.
I'm pretty familiar with rooting, flashing and recovery in general.
In Samsung we have Odin and sites like Sammobile to download and flash stock firmware if anything goes wrong. LG have any kind of tools like Odin and Sammobile ?
Another thing, All LG bootloaders comes unlocked ? the LG itself unlock it via their sites ? like Motorola do.
Thats it.
Thanks.
Yes, there are LG equivalents to Odin.
So you want to root it ? Downgrading firmware ?!
é Brasileiro??
are you Brazilian?? you could do root after update it ?? No update is not updated if you managed to not no more, I'm LGh342f to 3 months happy with tava root ai n updated with more root, and do not think downgrade
Ok, so everyone with LG leon have H345 or H340 kernel and enjoying Android 5.1.1.
But my Leon ( bought in october 2015 ), has a kernel H32410C with Android 5.0.1.
I Tried update via mobile, LG PC Suite or LG Support tool but to no avail.
I might require some MAJOR help here. pretty pls.
p.s ; on net i saw t mobile and metropcs leon each giving out their own updates.
I would first suggest making a backup after rooting and installing twrp, since the old version allows you to unlock the bootloader, and newer version do not !!
Plenty of tutorials for this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-2/how-to/lg-leon-d-e-f-one-click-root-t3231622/page2 is simplest root.
I have the 10f, and can not unlock my bootloader to upgrade to MM Android 6.0, so if you do get a backup made via twrp, please let me know here.
there's no a way to install stock rom for Moto G4 16 gb prime Edition through sideload in recovery mode (adb)?
i had installed nougat update from india and now i'm stuck in recovery mode. So.. i can't send my phone right now to US and i trying to find a way to recover my phone from this
I can't do a downgrade to MM because of nougat.
So, give me some ideas
Somebody could make a backup of their nougat's rom and upload it?
I am in the same boat (mostly because I am a moron, and thought I had unlocked my bootloader when I hadn't).
If anyone sees the amazon prime xt1625 nougat floating around you will be my hero.

You need a TWRP backup of the nougat ROM?
Try to find a thread with the stock AMZ firmware, then install that. Updates will have to be re-installed, but it should unbrick your moto
Hello all!
It's been a while since I've been back, and i've definitely been out of the loop for this phone..
The last thing I did with it was right after I bought it, I unlocked it, rooted it, put TWRP custom recovery on it using the "dirtycow recowvery" patch and method.
Very very long time ago...
I'm still running Nougat 7.0.1 I believe? Basically whatever the phone shipped with.
I have the T-Mobile Variant:
LGH91860fbde7d
My main question is, any phone is unusable for me if I can't get Root, and a custom recovery on it.
What is the latest version/guide on the LG V20 of the latest version of Android that it supports to download and install where I can still Root, and put TWRP on it?
I did search the forum, but there's a lot of guides, and I don't want to "assume" that it's for the latest version of Android (Oreo?) for the V20, so I wanted to make sure
Thanks!!
I am looking for stock oreo kdz for H910 At&T lg v20 but couldn't find it anywhere.

TIA

Thank you for your support
Please i want to clarify something .
I am reading many posts in xda and reddit that some users successfully converted from H910 to H915 or unlocked VS995 or VS996 i am not sure which 1 is fully compatible with H910.
I just want to know can i flash stock kdz H915 or whatever to my H910 directly from LGUP or i have to root and flash via twrp?
Also I've been reading that flashing via official LGUP won't work because model difference so i have to use LGUP PATCHED VERSION.
TIA

The H910 - H915 and US996 are essentially all the same device
The H910 cannot be unlocked with the stock bootloader
The H915 will allow you to flash a Engineering bootloader that is unlocked
The US996 can be unlocked through LG
I really don't recommend cross flashing except to install the unlocked bootloader
this is done with Patched LGUP
all the instructions are in the root thread I posted above
