so since it seems like this is an issue that is never going to be fixed, how are you guys working around the low volume issue?
personally, i was really looking forward to using my streak in the gym to watch videos while doing cardio, however the volume is way too low for me to hear anything =-/. solution? subtitles! it's a pain in the ass to download videos w/ subtitles but its a lot better than not watching anything at all.
what do you guys do?
Don't know about video, but for music I use Playerpro and was using PowerAmp. With the pre-amp they have I listen to wired headphones while mowing my yard. Playerpro does play video.
Im with marvin. On the stock music I can hear while mowing just fine. A little soft but not terrible.

I'm gonna have to give that a shot for videos. I'll post back with results.
hi.
Could somebody who has the phone, please post some video on how the phone handles heavy games? Especially GTA VC because I haven't found any video of the HTC One running this game.
Thanks.
Any note 2 owners out there who can compare the audio quality of the s4 vs the note 2 i9505?
I'm not so sure but I'd put the s4 slightly ahead, I wanna know what you guys think.
Curious also if the stock android music player inferior to samsung music player when it comes to audio quality?

I have both devices.
Note 2 having better sound donno why, but S4 plays well when you play songs in Stock Music Player.
Call me crazy but it's been driving me nuts! I still can't tell which is better
Hello all. I have had my S4 or a week now and am loving it. So superior to the Galaxy S3. But I have noticed a small issue. When playing videos on some apps like youtube, the video will studder alot. No this is not a buffering issue and i have concluded that. And it seems that when playing videos from the youtube site on internet, the sound will kinda lag sometimes as well. This doesn't happen on all video apps so i don't think it's a hardware issue. My S4 is not rooted and is fully stock. Can anyone help me??
This is for anyone looking to get the Note 4 and wanted a sample of the Video quality. The video is done though the Note 4, and nothing was modified or changed in anyway.
You can also get a few photo samples here: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Camera Samples So far the phones camera is awesome in my option.
Mod Edit: closed as a duplicate.
Does the Note 4 get hot recording 4K? The Z3 gets Hot recording 4K.

Not that I noticed, I had it at full brightness as well when doing so. I have not noticed any over heating yet.
Bump for newcomers.
My computer just punched me in the nuts for trying to play that video all the way through. Very clear from what would actually play without glitching. Nice job.

It's the graphics processor lagging. I have a new macbook air so mines nothing but thats one badass video. If you have a cutting edge video card you should be able to play it no problem.
