all the sudden while the tablet is working it reboots by itself
i decided to upgrade the firmware to a3000_a422_013_026_140926_ww_call_fuse after seeing it on my friend's tablet which he got it from the lenovo
the bad news this version is not available on the internet,so i had to go for an older version just to make sure that the tablet is not getting hacked
i got the flash tool ,new cable and connected the tablet while holding the volume down until i heard a device detected sound from my windows 7 then at this moment i released the volume down button.......the tablet was identified in device manager
something is wrong the tablet keeps connecting and disconnecting for no reason even on a different pc
i decided to upgrade and give it a try
it accepted the firmware without even hitting the rest button
i started the tablet from the power button then it started by showing the boot animation then bloop it turned off by itself
i went for this step 4 times : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a3000/general/bricked-a3000-f-t2851065
it booted then turned off
i got nervous and tried again and hit the firmware/Upgrade button instead of the download button and strangely it accepted the firmware !!
tried to boot .......nothing!!!
now i am stuck !!
Help Please
Click the reset button ( tiny hole )on the back of the tablet then try to flash the file again

I was on stock ROM preparing to Upgrade to Lollipop
on first step I pressed power and UP for some time as explained in the upgrade process , and I went into bootloader mode
But cursor is circling and I can't choose Down to get out
I ve managed to download a new firmware with spFlashtool (W10) thanks to XDA forum
Got green Ok from Flashtool, but when rebooting the S3 :
nothing happens now on power on , but when I connect to PC it starts bootloader again with cursor looping
other attempts with stock rom with same result
I feel my phone is dead !
I was quite happy with it
I am having a strange issue in my a6020a46(k5 plus). The first time i installed pixel rom from xda) the system booted up fine then after using for few hours i installed bean Gapps(mini version) but play store was unstable. It was never able to sign me up so i again fully removed everything for clean installation (dalvik/cache,data,system,cache). After installing OS i installed wifi+kernel fix and again bean Gapps which strangely didnt got installed unlike first time. Then problem began. When i rebooted it got struck into bootloop. I waited for 1 hrs but nothing happened. Then phone was not even going into recovery no matter what key combination i tried. It only got struck in penguine icon which kept restarting again and again. After many many attemps I was able to get it into recovery mode by pressing vol+,- and power button after immediately pluging it into charger. I again tried to install pixel but same problem occured. Then I tried installing other ROMs and it boots up but same pengiune icon is present there. I am not able to get rid of that icon nor able to boot up my phone with pixel OS. One more strange thing is happening and that is when phone is completely off and plugged into PC there is sound that notifies that ext device is connected and penguine icon comes in screen but when i power on my mobile then disconnecting sound comes and it never connects again untill i completely turn off my mobile and plug in USB. So summerising it here-
1) Pixel OS (no gapps+wifi, kernel fix) installed on 1st attempt
2)open gapps are not compatible so installed bean gapps mini version but play store was unstable+not able to sign in
3)did clean install but beanGapps didnt installed, errors were present. Installed wifi+kernel fix(by mistake did it twice). Booted and it got into bootloop
4)when device is off and connect via usb penguin icon pops up and sound of device connected play. when i switch on device usb disconnected sound plays and never connects again untill mobile is completely switched off again
5)installing other roms didnt removed penguin icon. other roms get installed but when tried to go in recovery mode it get struck into pengin icon(doesnt proceed until turned off and hold power and vol+,- button and immediately connected to power supply)
6neither pixel OS nor beangapps are able to get installed again. Bootloop (gapps ending with error 1)
I hope i can find answers soon. Thanks

I recently got a wifi model S5e and I believe the previous owner did not know what he was doing, and tried to updated the firmware through Odin and messed it up. Whenever the tablet is plugged into power or a USB port, it will boot to "An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recover function in the Smart Switch PC Software" screen, then restart itself after a couple seconds. It does this the entire time it is plugged in. I can hold the VOL keys then plug it in and I get to the "Custom OS" screen, but it does the same thing and reboots after a couple seconds. Is there anything I can do to get it to stay on long enough to flash new firmware to it?

Call Samsung at 1-800-SAMSUNG. I messed up my tablet the same way. I had someone local look at it, but they couldn't fix it. I sent it to Samsung and they fixed it for free, but only because it was still under warranty. They can check your serial number to see if yours is still under warranty.
Seeing as they have a customOS installed on their device. Samsung won't touch it as it has been rooted, which breaks the warranty.
Reboot to your "custom recovery" and flash that "custom os" again?
I thought of testing out different custom ROMS available for my device (Samsung A20 ) just to see what fits me, So I tried to flash a custom ROM "Havoc OS", right after flashing a ROM from XDA under my phone's section which is another custom ROM which i guess is ported from S20 " https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a20/development/ultimate-q-s20-v2-rom-t4104667 " and installed the ROM it worked fine, but after flashing Havoc OS, It boots up but the screen goes black after few seconds after displaying the Samsung logo... Knox... Powered by android and all that but goes off quickly and the black screen starts to appear, i tried holding down the power button and volume down together and also power button + volume up but nothing seems to work, i.e it won't get me into recovery or download mode. I tried using Odin while the phone is connected but even then it didn't show up on Odin's log as well. Please help :crying:
Update: The problem was fixed: I left the device to stay in the boot loop and the battery drained and then when I connected it to the power brick when the battery is completely drained i was able to boot into twrp recovery without a problem. ( Also i did this after removing the memory card )
