No calls after update - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

I updated to the latest T-Mobile update (the one with the FM radio) and now my phone won't make calls. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I know the update process wasn't interrupted nor did it fail at any moment.
Edit: I can make calls when I'm not connected to wifi outdoors, but I can't make calls in my apartment.

Strange Problem Regarding 3G

I've had a few users of my ROM mention that they can't use the phone and still have 3G active at the same time. As soon as you make a call, the 3G connection stops.
I've tested this myself...the 3G icon still shows, but no data can transfer until the call is ended...a good way to test is to do a speed test or download while making a call.
They say the stock Telstra ROM does let you do both, so obviously I have missed something somewhere...
Does anyone know what it could be?
Appreciate any help on this one...
oh! maybe im wrong but if you are using 3G data call you must to wait for it to end, then make a voice call
According to the user, you canuse 3G data connection to download and still make a voice call at the same time on the official ROMs. On my ROM it doesn't work.
neither in my rom you know...
In the canvas mui.. are a dialog square saying... please wait til the data call ends to make a new voice call.
Maybe im wrong.
Yea, they don't want to make a data call and voice call...they just want to keep using 3g data connection while making a voice call...they dont want to make a data call.
try using telstra dialer and dependent pkgs see if it works then.

Dropped calls after JI6 on 3G

I updated my phone to JI6 yesterday via OTA without a hitch. it was rooted with lagfix before, but i've since unapplied OCLF.
for some reason, the phone calls i make while on 3g are being dropped. it seems to work on 2g networks, but i haven't done enough testing.
Is anyone else having this problem?
right now my phone is rooted and stock.
I am having the same issue. I restored the phone back to orignial rom through ODIN before the OTA. Now I am dropping calls left and right.
as far as i know, voice and data are carried over different frequencies, so they shouldnt affect each other (thats why you can talk and surf the web at the same time).
I had the same issue for a short while on my phone after flashing JI6 via Odin. Call quality is for some reason back to great and reception is much better.
in order to make voice calls, i have to be on 2g networks ONLY. if i'm on 3g, then the phone call will after 5 seconds. i've been testing it by dialing my voicemail and i've gotten consistent results.
is there anyway to fix it?? should i go to the t-mo store and if they find out my phone is rooted does that mean my warranty is void or something?
anyone know of any fixes or experiencing similar problems? or a way to undo the update?
i literally cannot make a call when I am on 3G, i have to force my phone to gsm only.
happening here as well, noticing that it's dropping my calls when im transitioning from edge to 3g and vice versa.
record a video showing the problem..thats a start.

[Q] [T-Mobile] Voice only working in some areas, data/text fine

Hi guys!
I have been having some issues lately with my calls just not working when I am at home. Incoming and outgoing calls are completely silent. My phone still rings, but I am always met with silence on the other end. Oddly, I can make and receive calls at work just fine. It just seems to be something about the area around where I live.
My texts and data work just fine. I haven't yet been able to identify what the issue is, I tried 2G only mode, to no avail. When I am home, I normally use Groove IP for outgoing calls to save on minutes, but still need incoming calls to work.
I have a 16GB Nexus 4 running the latest PA 3.10 kept updated through GooManager. I have refrained from trying a wipe, since I do not know that it will solve my issue.
Any ideas?

Reception dropping in call - need urgent help

I am facing this terrible problem as when I call someone on my lg g2 F320L it keep dialling and then some time says network busy or sometime it just disconnect calling. Sometime it connect to call on 1st dialling attempt but when other person pick it up call he/she can't hear me or sometime says your voice is breaking and this happening on every call I made or receive.
I notice my signal of network is full but as soon as I pick incoming or make out going call it start dropping signals.
Also I am facing issue with USSD code. when I dial *444# to check pre paid balance I get "connection problem or invalid code".
As you can see below screen shot that network signals are full but i am getting error. I have check same SIM in other phone and every thing working fine.
Anyone have any idea why I am getting all these problems. How to fix.
no one have any idea about the problem ?

Signal connection problems after I return to service area

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900V rooted with *BPB1. I work in a large brick building which gets virtually no reception while I'm inside. I've been having a problem where when I leave work (and start getting a signal again) I'm unable to make calls and don't receive SMS/MMS (basically no non WiFi connection) until I either restart the phone or turn on Airplane mode and turn it off again. When I do so I will get any voicemails left for me during the day as well as all queued SMS'/MMS'. I've considered using tasker to automatically do this function for me, but I was hoping to find a non-band aid fix for the issue.
