Hi everyone,
I'm trying to build the XDA utils tree and itsutils.dll from source in order to play around with it a bit, but have had no luck so far. I've searched through all the forums, but couldn't find anything about building the toolset, only how to develop for actual mobile devices.
I got the source tree for the xda utils project, but the instructions on how to build them (here) are not very clear. What software do I need to have installed? Which libraries? Do I need to install an embedded version of the STL? Where can I find the "preview editions" of Platform Builder 3.0 and 4.0 in order to get the header files?
I'm running Windows XP 32-bit (I also have a 64-bit machine, though I doubt that'll make it any easier), and have installed VS 2005, the Windows Mobile 6 SDK, and eMbedded VC 4.0.
I'd really appreciate any advice or help.
Thanks in advance,
Rob
Hi,
I've a question about BSP's. Where can I get a BSP for Device Emulator (for ARMv4 architecture)? I want to upgrade my ARM device to my prepared CE 4.2 OS and I would to develop software for it by Visual Studio with debugging on the emulator.
Thanks for advice.
Please help me.I am currently using Eclipse to develop Android Apps. But for some reason i want to migrate to NetBeans.I tried installing NbAndroid Plugin in 7.0 , 7.1 and 7.3 JAVA SE versions. After installing, i get error java.InitialisationError or cannot initialise Dalvik VM.
So is there an alternative to this?

Hello All
I've been in a bit if a tiz lately, I am very interested in developing for Android as well as BlackBerry.. The problem is that for the Android SDK I want to use I NEED to use JDK 7uxx.. However I still am pulling in money with BlackBerry for OS 7 and Below and that REQUIRES JDK 6uxx
I'm wondering if it possible to install BOTH SDK versions on the same machine and assign the correct version to the correct SDKs????
I would love your feedback and any suggestions onto how to do this if this is possible at all..
Thanky so much in advance
