Im looking for an app for "quick klick button" which will tap the screen if i click the button.

Is there anyway to have the phone turn on when i press the green phone button. just too lazy to find the button on the side first then the phone button.

cmccarter, please use a Thread title that is descriptive of what you want to ask. Part of the search facility on the Forum works by looking at thread titles. Nobody is going to search for "Question"!! They might search for titles that include phone button or on/off or re-assign button commands etc.

I tried to copy the information here with no luck.
I would like to remap some buttons to gain camera functionality.
1.) the "back" button
- the long press of the back button is not being used by anything.
-remap the long press of the 'back' button to the short press of the camera button.
--or---
2.)the "send' button
-The green phone button (i'm calling it the send button) is not being used by me. I use my headset for voice commands, or the touch screen to open the phone app.
-I would like to completely remap it to the camera button, short and long press (not sure if camera has a long press, if it doesn't i have another idea)
3.)menu key
- the long press of the windows key is worthless. maybe use that.

it won't be better if you guys change home button which currently opens search with the menu button that takes us to the home??
so the home button shows home and menu button search
I thought we all have got used to do it that way in both android and winmo(which is now dead).
in my opinion it would be much easier

... It's exactly the same way with stock.
If you really don't know and you've never used screenshot on stock ROM, the button combo is home+power. Hold the home key (not long enough to bring up the recent apps window) and quickly press the power button.
Note that in CM7.2 this combo does not work, rather there is an option in the power menu (when you press and hold the power button to turn it off/reboot).
Next time, use Search or Google.
