Yes the update is out in the wild, there's even factory images.
The 6P has the update but you'll have to wait till Google pushes it to your device or just learn how to flash Factory Images /OTA files if you're impatient.

Here is the link to how to do it, it says nexus 7 but it works for nexus devices in general. Just have to download the ota update and follow the instructions. (http://www.techinfobit.com/manually-upgrade-nexus-7-to-android-marshmallow-6-0/)

FUHHHKKKK..
spent all day at work today setting up pure nexus with elemental and other sound mods/xposed/etc, only for this to happen today.
Anxiously awaiting factory images to be released.
Do we need to leave the beta program to install with wipe or will it update over the beta do you think?

I'd advise to wait on this.... especially if you try to flash back to 6.0.1, a lot of of had issues doing so and some have not been able to recover. I was able to thankfully, but something is definitely causing bootloops when reverting back -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/help/botched-nougat-install-phone-boot-loop-t3445709
Has anyone seen anything on why we're still waiting for this to appear?

That was a TWRP error. No need to worry about that.
As for the factory image - patience is virtue. :highfive:
I just received an OTA 7.0 NRD90M is this the final version? When I reboot my phone it doesn't say beta anymore as well as in the notification center and night is back on. By the way I just received my 6P today...

So, Im assuming you can flash around freely now? TWRP 3.0.2-2 fixed the horrible EFS/bootloop bug?

Yes. That is the final release.
So there's an updated image out (NRD90S) for the 5X but still no images for the 6P. Ridiculous.

Problem with 6P and N. It was reported by Vodafone and Huawei is working with Google.
Patience.. I'd rather have a stable OS then a buggy one. Anyways you will have it someday.
this link has the download for Android 7 ota. You flash through twrp. It's not factory image from google website. But I flashed it and everything went fine.

I am In the UK and my phone has never been rooted and I am fully stock. I have still not got the OTA yet.
It's been out a while now so should I have had it by now?

That's not the factory image. You can see the link you posted is OTA, not factory image like you suggest. That's just a direct download link to the OTA that others received after enrolling in the beta program.
Factory image page here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Factory OTA page here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/ota
The 7.0 image nor OTA has been posted by Google yet.
@chrisnewton, you can update manually, here is the download and installation guide you would need.
okay guys so this is the dilemma...
i was rooted on 7.1.1 dp1 with the flashable pixel zip. I received the DP2 OTA somehow, tried to install but it just restarted the phone.. nothing changed.
I eventually got bored of it and tried flashing the resurrection ROM. however, i got stuck on the boot screen. so i unrooted and flashed the factory image off googles devs site. Now i want to go update to DP2, i have enrolled in the beta but still nothing comes up. i have unenrolled and enrolled heaps of times and nothing is happening.
thanks for any help
It's not immediate. Enroll in the beta again. Wait a couple of hours. Eventually it'll pop up. Reboot after a few hours if you still don't have it.
If all else fails, the DP2 image is available online at developer.android.com/preview/download.html if you don't get the OTA. Just download from the developer site, extract, put phone into fastboot mode, and then run the flashall.bat. This will flash your phone back to stock on developer preview 2. The DP2 build number is NPF26F (You said you had an image from the dev site, check the build number).

Silly questions but do I need to be rooted to flash the dp2 image ? And no, my apologies. I've got 7.0 NBD91K from Google, not the dev site. My bad!

Nope! There's no need to be rooted! You do, however, need to have an unlocked bootloader. But I'd imagine you'd have that if you're flashing roms
And ah! I'm on the same page as you now about the google developers factory images site. With the android developers site I posted, just scroll down on that page and find the nexus 6P link and download that! This will wipe your data though.
Your problem originally that caused the DP2 update to not work was the pixel mod. If you have that flashed, the ota update doesn't work. I had the same problem. But the good news is, you can get pixel mods for DP2 too! I'm using one too.

Yeah, it doesn't hurt to try (unless it does). I did the same thing because I was curious about that. I figured it would update and wipe the pixel mod, but nope! I hope everything goes smoothly :good:
