My phone's volume speaker is a bit damaged and volume is lower I hardly hear notification sounds if I don't have the phone next to me. There are some replacement parts in ebay but they are for international s3 also I don't fully trust em.

Hi All. Loving my new xperia except for the speaker level, which is far too low for car navigation and not too good for handsfree calls. Can anyone advise on increasing the speake volume please. Thanks.
How to increase the volume of the speaker
I have the same question.
The speaker is not loud enough. I heard that there are two volume settings that can increased separately to add up. It's that true?
This has already been dealt with here:

In other words no.
The small hole where the speaker is is very easily covered up (try playing an mp3 and put your thumb over the hole then removing it) You will see a HUGE drop in volume.
This especially annoying when i'm missing calls because the phone is in my pocket.
My previous phone the K700 allowed sound to 'leak' out...I am wondering whether drilling some holes in the case might improve things
I just received a used Nexus One I purchased and the call volume is insanely low. Of course I was unable to try it out before buying but got a great deal on it. Maybe this is why. I was just wondering what I could do, are there any hacks to increase volume, or should I check on warranty status maybe. It is so low, if there is any background noise I can't hear the other person at all. I work in a construction trade so volume isn't something I can sacrifice. Thanks for your input.

flash a kernel with the audio hack. if you ask me, the stock call volume is horrible.
I thought this at first too, but I realized I was positioning the phone way too high on my head. The speaker is a the very top edge of the phone, try moving the phone up and down your ear during a call to find the correct spot.
Just wondering if anyone can confirm the ear speaker volume on the Atrix. It seems lower than most. The exterior speaker is awesome and produces great sound, but speaking on my Atrix the first time yesterday the volume seemed low, both ringing in the ear speaker and the caller. I am trying to determine whether or not there is a defection so if someone could let me know if it's just lower than most phones or they suspect there is a problem i would appreciate it.
Just wanted to know, when talking to folks on the phone ( coz it is a phone as well, right? ) I get the earpiece to clip or pop when the volume is too loud. Is this normal? I would have thought the software would have prevented this from occuring, or is it that my earpiece is duff? However, when I put the volume lower the pops and cracks go away but then I cannot hear the other party very well as its not too loud.
Do me a favour, next time someone calls you put the earpiece to max volume and come back with results, thanks.
How loud does this phone ring. I've a Sony z2 and no matter what I do, the ring volume is quite low. My spare phone moto g 2nd edition rings so loudly you can hear it upstairs.
Where does the yotaphone 2 sit volume wise for ringtones and music please.
I'm out of contract with ee shortly and would like this phone, but as no UK networks carry it to my knowledge, I'm looking at going sim free and purchasing the phone.

TLDR: ring volume is good, media volume less impressive.
I find the ring volume quite satisfactory on the Yotaphone. I've had, like you, phones with various ring max volume, and I find the Yotaphone quite good on that matter. Of course the kind of ringtone you chose does matter, too.
As for the media volume, I generally find the Yotaphone max volume a bit too soft, as some videos are quite difficult to hear in a noisy environment, but as can be expected, like the ringtone volume, it widely depends how loud the video is in the first place.
I think the ring volume is good, but the placement of the speaker(s) can potentially muffle it quite a lot. they are at the bottom of the phone, meaning that they are very likely to be covered when it is in your pocket.
