Now open it, fill all Info in it and it will Generate a Product ID for your Phone....
Now go to this site Unlocking Code website

Use the Serial Number Written on BACK OF YOUR PHONE..!!
Fill like, smartphone>Product Model should be "HUAWEI Y300-0000"

Is this is TWRP for Marshmallow? Because the recovery files.you have uploaded are dated 25th September 2015?
@mfbcool yes...this is for Marshmallow... But dont swipe allow modifications!!
Member gettin error after swiping...just do read only...
I root my device by this method yesterday
but today root not work in titanum backup
I check it by root checker and everything is ok
Even though this method works, I would not recommend moving SuperSU to system partition. I didn't moved it and still SU permissions are working fine. I say so because Chainfire in his new SuperSU adopted a 'Systemless Root' method that roots without modifying the system partition so that apps like Android Pay work properly. He achieved this by patching the Boot image and so root is installed in boot image and is enabled at every boot (that's why you may experience some boot loops after rooting). This makes taking OTA updates and unrooting the device easier as you can unroot by flashing the Stock Boot.img instead of flashing the whole system partition.
I believe moving SuperSU to system partition destroys the main purpose and idea Chainfire had while making SuperSU compatible with Marshmallow. We all know EMUI won't update on Rooted devices. So it would be a pain to reflash whole Stock System Partition before taking OTA.
Hi thanks, I'm root my mobile I'm in android 6.0 now how to get back to kikkat a stock rom from twrp
@G E N E R A L open supersu app and tick the mount name separation and restart phone... Titanium, kingroot all will recognize root
Hit thanks if it helps....
@TMDMOOSA if you wanna go back to KK, Flash stock recovery first!!
Then flash the back pkg B320, then B070
If you gets error, flash middle pkg of chc rom and then flash directly KK Rom usin stock recovery!!

help
I have successfully built TWRP 3.0.0-0 for our device which fixes the weird swipe to allow modifications bug and is fully compatible with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/recovery-twrp-3-0-0-0-huawei-honor-4c-t3349495
Also, to re-flash Stock ROM, you don't need to flash Stock Recovery. Huawei phones have 2 inbuilt recoveries. The second recovery (which is the Stock) can be accessed by 3 buttons method (Power + Volume Up + Volume Down).
@mfbcool i saw that thread early... Great work man... I know huawei have 2 inbuilt recoveries but 2nd one is erecovery and thats of no use at all... I tried it too many times!! If twrp 3.0 can flash update.app files,,, it gonna rocks , wish u best of luck man!! You did it

yes it is possbile... but a long way..
Things you need:
Root
Unlocked bootloader
TWRP recovery
Stock Recovery
First thing first, unlock your bootloader (see chapter 2 of this MEGA thread). Then you need TWRP recovery. Download this : (it contains root file and twrp).
TWRP and ROOT
Now, tap your build number 7-10 times, this will get you Developers Option on Settings. Go to Developers Option and enable it, also you must enable "Enable USB Debugging.. then connect it to your computer. Now extract the downloaded folder, you'll see a folder named data. go inside that and hold Shift and Right Click and Click on Open Commands Windows Here.. run following commands inside quotations:
"adb devices" -> lists your device, if it doesn't then you have some problems while enabling USB debugging... do it again..
"adb reboot bootloader" -> it will reboot the device to white screen with android logo and it must display "Unlocked" on green colours. if it doesn't, it means you havent unlocked your bootloader and you must not proceed any further..
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" -> doing this will flash TWRP recovery
"fastboot reboot"->reboots the device..
For rooting, copy 1.zip and 2.zip to your phone/sd card. Then you must go to recovery mode. Connect your mobile to computer via USB cable, and open commands window on data folder (same as you did for TWRP).
"adb reboot recovery" -> will go to TWRP recovery. Click on Install and select 1.zip first to flash... after flashing it will reboot your device. Open the SuperSu app once and close and uninstall it. Go to recovery mode again and then flash 2.zip.. it will reboot again.. now, download Es File explorer or other root browsers. go to /data/app and cut eu.chainfire.supersu and paste it in /system/app with the following permissions rwx r-x r-x and reboot. Congrats, you are rooted now.. Off to next steps.
Now, as you're rooted. Download this file ... After downloading this file you need to copy and paste to this path: /dev/block/platform/hi_mci.0/by-name (for this, you need to be rooted).. It will change your region from c185 to c432.. Restart and you must have c432.
Now, unroot your device and flash stock recovery(for the time being). It is necessary to have stock recovery and be unrooted while upgrading android.
Upgrading process
Download this http://huaweidevices.ru/huaweiservic...urope_Dual.rar B132 version, there must be 2 folders "dload"(it should contain UPDATE.APP with file size approx. 1.3 GB) and "custom" (custom folder must also have UPDATE.APP file inside it, but very small in size) , copy the dload folder to internal memory of your phone (the folder must have updata.app inside it) and do local update... after that copy the custom folder to your device and rename it to dload and do local update again.
Note: it is necessary to flash larger UPDATE file and then smaller UPDATE file to remove Balong issues.
Then download this: http://huaweidevices.ru/huaweiservic...170_Europe.zip B170 version and repeat the above process of upgrading.
after this you should be able to see OTA update of B550/B560 marshmallow update... if it doesn't show yet, then download it from here: http://download-c.huawei.com/downloa...20&siteCode=es B550 version.
A while ago I installed TWRP and rooted my WAS-LX1A and everything worked perfectly fine except that I couldn't install updates. Today I tried to install install a more recent rom and, as expected, it failed. So i tried to install it manually, unpacking boot.img, system.img and recovery.img from the update.app file and flashing them using
Code:
fastboot flash *type* *file*.img
I was able to flash boot and recoverybut when I tried to do the same on system it got stuck and I was forced to interrupt the process. Now my device is constantly stuck on
Code:
Your device is booting now...
and I can't access recovery nor fastboot and adb isn't working:
Code:
error: device unauthorized.
This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set
Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.
I tried using the dload folder method in a FAT32 formatted sd card and every sort of button combination but i'm still stuck at the same point. Anyone can help me?
luis ota doesnt works due to root a custom recovery, i recommend you access to twrp, next:
1- Make a backup only of oeminfo(coy to safe place), download oeminfo ss or ds depending your device, extract and copy/replace oem to the original oem
2- Downloaded servicerom b182 or b183, extract and copy all file and folder(was-lx1a folders and update.app), to dload folder on your sdcard.
3- Now press restore oem and shutdown when it finished, now do 3btns method.
Alternatevility could uninstall adb and reinstall, check if device manager has traces of device or adb and remove too

Didn't work and now the phone is locked and I've lost my unlock code. TWRP also isn't working, as holding pwr+volumeup starts erecovery while the booting screen changed from "Your device has been unlocked" to "Your device has failed verification". Any tips?
mister if you frp(oem is unlocked(red color)) you can solve with dload method and servicerom b182 or b183, other method is dcphoenix(paid)

It stops at 5% saying "Software install failed!" only giving me the option to reboot
And after changing the oeminfo my phone appears to be locked as i said in my previous reply

oeminfo: backup insdcad(copy to safe place), with the downloaded oeminfo just copy/replace and then restore.
srom: create one folder called dload in sdcard, then extracted the service copy all was folders + update.app(they are inside of dload folder) to the dload sdcard
alternatively you try with dcphoenix and/or dcunlocker(paid both)

Hi all,
this may be helpful for all that have similar problems as I had.
After experiencing with custom ROMs, I wasn't able to boot into System and also not into Recovery anymore (ended in a bootloop).
Because I tried to flash back to a Stock ROM via RUU I also relocked my bootloader and unlocking wasn't possible anymore because the unlock option was not active and not accessible without a system.
Unfortunately there's only the Nougat RUU available and I previously had Oreo installed.
As I also have S-ON, it's not possible to flash back to the Nougat RUU.
I was only able to access the phone in bootloader mode and with fastboot.
Prerequisites:
You should be able to access your phone via fastboot, so the correct USB drivers should be installed on your PC
How did I solve this:
I downloaded the following RUU.exe from US HTC website - I'm not able to post links, but you can find it via Google: HTC U Ultra Firmware Update
Start it and go to "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp" (on Windows 10), there you can find a temporary folder of the RUU.exe, for example {50F2F878-636A-496F-A7CB-544C067E0C4B}
You can find some files like adb.exe, htc_fastboot.exe, rom.zip, ...
Copy the folder to any location you want and close the RUU application
I then downloaded the Oreo OTA zip for my phone from androidfilehost (Thank you minhnewpro ) - see: https://forum.xda-developers.com/u-ultra/development/ruu-collection-htc-ultra-nougat-t3830999
Unzip the OTA and copy the firmware.zip to the previously copied folder from RUU (here: {50F2F878-636A-496F-A7CB-544C067E0C4B})
Start the phone into Bootloader or Download Mode and connect it to the PC
Open the commandline on the PC and cd to the copied folder from RUU
Enter the following Commands:
htc_fastboot oem rebootRUUhtc_fastboot flash zip firmware.ziphtc_fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
htc_fastboot flash zip firmware.zip needs to be done twice, in the first run I got the following error: FAILED (remote: 90 hboot pre-update! please flush image again immediately )
The second time it went through without any error.
Now my phone works again and has the Oreo Stock ROM installed!
I hope this method also works for other phones and not just mine
Greetings
Thank you.
This method works with my HTC U Ultra dual sim.
Thank you very much.

I rooted my OP8-Pro. I followed the instructions in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVABAEGRgew.
To summarize, his steps were as follows:
1. Unlock the bootloader
2. Extract boot.img file from payload bin file (on Windows)
3. Install Magisk Canary 2020 app on the phone
4. Install the boot.img file through Magisk
5. Download Fastboot.zip in Windows and extract files
6. Download and place magisk.patched file in Fastboot folder
7. Connect the phone to Windows, use cmd to boot into bootloader
8. Flash the magisk.patched file on the device and reboot
This is a new method to me. In the past rooting always involved TWRP. Root checker shows that the phone is rooted but other features have stopped working.
WiFi no longer works. Even if I turn it on, it turns itself off. Camera keeps crashing and I can't even change the camera mode once I launch the app. My phone also rebooted itself a couple of times while I was testing it after root.
I also rooted my One Plus 6 in 2019 but had to use a custom TWRP (Bluspark) for it to be stable.
I rather start over with a factory reset than try to repair the device in it's current state (but will try to repair it if it's easier). I prefer to stick with the factory ROM and only need root for one app.
Try latest stable magisk instead of canary. Mine works perfectly with regular magisk
I used the all in one tool by mauronafrio here. Worked flawlessly.

So I tried that tool. I tried to flash factory image downloaded directly from One Plus website and kept getting the following error message:
"Error: flash-all.exe or flash-all.bat or flash_all.bat or flashall.bat not found!!!"
I think this has to do with the fact that I am using a secondary hard drive on my computer to store all the downloaded files and the bat file is supposed to be in the same folder as the zip file.
I also reset it to factory settings from the recovery mode but that didn't fix the WiFi issue.
Then I ran TWRP from the All in one Tool and installed the factory firmware from phone's internal memory. This soft bricked my phone.
After getting soft-bricked I installed Magisk through the tool but that didn't fix the issue.
Now it is stuck in a boot loop and keeps going into recovery mode. I can also boot into Fastboot mode and install zips through there but I would like to unbrick it first. Is there an alternative ROM that can unbrick it?
I think I am going to try and use the unbrick tool first and if that doesn't work I will try the Fastboot ROM, that already comes with the bat file.
I am a little confused as to which version goes on my phone though. They have Indian, Global and European versions but I live in the U.S. Global seems to be the most appropriate for my phone but I don't want to install the wrong ROM on it.
I remember reading that you can run into WiFi issues if you flashed the wrong version (from a different region) for your phone
I've rooted for many years and this is the first time I didn't go through TWRP as well.
If you use the unbrick tool you'll probably get issues with the fingerprint reader. But that's fixable, after you've rooted.
The easiest way to get root is to just unlock the bootloader, fastboot boot twrp (not flash), and then flash magisk 20.4 stable.
Before TWRP you had to patch the boot.img and fastboot flash it, but with twrp there is no need for it.

Thanks for letting me know. I attempted to use the unbrick tool but it had problems connecting to the phone. And I also didn't want to run into finger print issues.
I downloaded the patched Rom (with flash-all.bat file included) and installed it via All in one tool. That unbricked the phone and I reset the system to start from scratch. I used the global / international version for my North American phone.
After setting up the phone, I rebooted into Fastboot and loaded TWRP via All in one tool and installed Magisk 20.4 and got the phone rooted.
Root checker shows the phone is now rooted. WiFi and camera also work. I am ready to transfer data from the old phone.
This would have gone smoother if I had just used the correct version of Magisk from the start.
