What is the difference between the two variants?
Is it possible to change the variant for Lumia 920 from UK to Fin?
I need the Fonecta Caller - software to work and only possibility for it to work is the Finnish variant

Follow that, but use a Finnish ROM. There are two ROMs available in Finland, one Elisa specific and one for unlocked phones. You can use the Elisa ROM if you have Elisa/Saunalahti. There should not be much difference between those, the generic ROM works with Elisa too.

There is way to get official oreo now
1. Remove your sim cards
2. Connect to a vpn server with location as Indian server
3. Hit system updates, done
If it doesn't work
Try clearing data of google services framework and then try the above method
You will get it

Why don't you flash mena firmware ajd manually flash OTA till January security patch (nougat), then try this method
Many of other countries people updated from this method, even i did
Dont worry, this won't void your warranty
And official oreo OTA will make your device again official
So go with it

An update - I received the OTA update yesterday (13th Feb) evening, here in UK and updated it. Seems to work well; in fact, it seems to have made my phone faster - will post back if things go south!
Just wondering is anyone has received the OREO update and/or Feb updates for TA-1021 in the UK ?
edit: - Strange coincidence.. I put a new SIM in the phone, and lo and behold new update.. With Feb update.. So far all seems okay, although I am a very light user. Music works, phone works, and camera works.

From the AT&T website I see that the previous versions prior to I337UCSGOK3 were I337UCUGOK2 (Dec. 9, 2015) and prior to that I337UCUGOC4 (Aug. 11, 2015) which followed I337UCUGOC3 (April 7, 2015). I have successfully downloaded the source code for the Linux kernel used in the I337UCUGOC3 update (April 7, 2015):

I find this by putting I337 in the search parameters. However, I am unable to find the source code for the Linux kernel running on the latest firmware (I337UCSGOK3) nor, for that matter, any of I337UCUGOK2 or I337UCUGOC4.
Please I would appreciate assistance if anyone knows whether this source code is available. Do I have to go to AT&T instead of Samsung, perhaps because the carrier was involved in the firmware update (as it came over the air)? Or maybe it is available from Samsung but has to be specifically requested? I saw the following in the Announcements file from the I337UCUGOC3 kernel available on the Samsung website:

However, when I emailed this mailbox I received an automated message saying that it was not monitored, and was redirected to submit a request through the Samsung website, which I did but have not heard back yet.

Update: I have heard back from Samsung, although they seemed to be under the mistaken impression that OK3 was not the latest firmware for this phone - they claimed that OC3 was the latest, even though that was a year and a half older. Does anyone know who I should contact instead of Samsung if they are not able to provide the source code?
