This is a Temporary FIX for Bootloop on Older Xperia devices (FW 10.4.A.454) after flashing Xposed ZIP.When @[NUT] releases his fixed version of DualRecovery(now it causes bootloops),this thread will be closed
It is just a busybox issue, fix it by installing this Busybox Installer. It is compaitable with @[NUT]'s Dual Recovery
Install Busybox from HERE
Reboot to recovery
Flash xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430 from HERE
Wipe Cache&Dalvik
Reboot
Tapped from my furious dogo
we know it already XposedArm.zip must be flashed on a clean rom
Please help here

First of all bro, please tell how to install NUT's Dual recovery on XPERIA Z 10.6.A.0.454 firmware? And which version of the NUT's Dual recovery should be installed? Please tell us the exact procedure, because after flashing the NUT's Dual recovery it goes into a bootloop. So there is no use of you stating flash 'xyz.zip' in recovery, because for that one must first have an access to recovery, which doesn't happen at all after flashing the dual recovery.
I am on locked bootloader, same Official Lollipop firmware as mentioned above and rooted through Kingroot
Please help! And do not feel bad coz I have quoted whole OP. This is just to bring this important point to all the referers of this page in future
Thanks

Sidd

This is about the busybox issue
Since NUT's recovery is causing bootloops in the new FW,the busybox patch is not added to the system. So we have to add it manually.Install the Busybox applets using the Busybox installer I mentioned and you'll be good to go.

NUT has not fixed the issue. You cannot try his versions until he makes a fix.You should have an Advanced Kernel for Stock LP with TWRP recovery.

Url for Busy box does not work anymore. Could you post a functional one?
So last night I found this website:
http://www.frogoff.com/kingroot-the-one-click-root-tool-v4-1-0/
I downloaded and installed app. Ran app and got root on my z3 D6616 running stock lollipop . I checked it with root checked and it passed and I have also installed a few other apps that need root to run and they have worked. hope this helps anyone looking to root. My next step is to install twrp recovery. If anyone has opinions on this let me know
Thanks
so i followed this link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/z3-xzdualrecovery-qa-t3014206
and i was able to install twrp recovery.
next step : to install xposed framework .

Had an older version of android and it was so easy to get xposed and now when i download it says that icant get framework
Deodex your ROM and download the xposed sdk and flash it using Custom recovery (like TWRP, CWM) and then install Xposed Framework
Hi all,
As requested I make this small guide to explain how to install working Xposed Framework. I will not explain what is Xposed and how it works but you can find you answers here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
First of all you must have a rooted device and custom recovery.
1) Download and install the apk from the thread mentioned before.
2)Download flashable zip framework and copy it to your phone. Direct link: http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm64/xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip
3) Reboot phone in recovery and install framework zip.
4) Reboot to Android and launch Xposed installer, allow root permissions if asked, verify in "Framework" tab you must have "Xposed framework version 86 is active".
5) That's all !
I recommend you (very optional) to install XDA Labs app to have more modules and updates.
Thanks for the guide, i just flashed it.
PS: what other modules except Xprivacy can i use now ?

+1 and you can add NeoPowerMenu, ScreenOffAnimation, ForceDoze and YouTube Background Playback for me
Nice, will check those. I must check what Greenify it does under xposed, think i saw that options.

Try Magisk Xposed with xperia XAU it should be quicker and work better. If you prefer using the standard Xposed, then yes it works. My recommendation for Xposed modules (which I personally use on my Xperia XA) are
1. Gravity box
2. Assistant Enabler (battery drainer)
3. One Tap download module (Plus Facebook and YouTube add ons)
4. Xprivacy
5. XinternalSD
6. LockMod
7. Xinstaller (does work on android 6.0 despite description)
Using Magisk Xposed allows you to go back if an issue arises without backups (I'd still recommend making a new backup every month) I've made a thread for Magisk on Xperia XA, take a look if you're interested.
Thank you for this guide.

Xposed working in Nougat?
Whenever I install the framework, and reboot to system, the phone gets bricked. It doesn't turn on, screen doesn't turn on, no vibrations, nothing. Phone gets bricked
Any help is appreciated
Yes it's working but this guide will not work for Nougat. You have to install Xposed through Magisk modules.
