Can't install a new custom rom - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm running a resurrection remix 6.0.1 rom on an international n9005 note 3 and I want to install a dark wolf s7 rom , I am doing everything right from wiping and installing but when it comes to installation it gets stuck and won't install and boots into recovery again without installing anything
Any help woud be really appreciated!

Are you using the latest version of twrp?

What version of twrp do you have. And do you have the same problem with other Roms? Meaby download dark Wolf rom again and then try? You wipe properly data system cache and dalvik?

No ROM will boot..

Hi everyone,
So i'm having an issue with my Galaxy S4 GT-i9505. It seems that any custom ROM I try to flash it with just gets stuck at Boot. I can always restore to stock so its not that big of a deal but still I'd like to be able to use a custom ROM on it one of these days !
Here's what I did so far:
1) The phone was rooted with CF Autoroot, then flashed TWRP recovery with Odin 3.x
2)Tried to install Omega Rom v9. With Data, Cache, Delpik wipe. Stuck at Samsung logo after reboot
3) Restored back to stock
4) Repeated 2)
5)Tried to install PAC Rom, again Data, Cache wipe, Flashed Gapps before Reboot
6)Stuck at "PAC loading" logo
7)Tried 5) again without flashing Gapps. Still stuck
8)Back to stock
I'm thinking of trying to flash a Pre-Rooted Rom like some of DJeMBeY. Anyway, can someone point me in the right direction ?

Modem error when installing any lollipop ROM

Hi,
My Sprint Note 3phone is currently using a Kitkat ROM and TWR recovery. I tried some Lollipop ROMS. After flash the ROM, the phone boot to the page of Android setting, then the UI crashed and the phone reboot, showing Modem error.
Anyone has similar experience or have any idea why this happen? Thanks a lot.
First try wiping all data , cache, dalvik cache and others.
Then install fresh lollipop stock rom from sammobile.com of your phone model and then try to flash it via ODIN rather than through TWRP.
There are many guides on flashing lollipop roms, just read them you'll get it.?✌

Yes you can
I'm using G900X running
Resurrection Remix 6.0.1_r61 for (G900F)
Pico Gapps
Boeffla Kernel
Xposed
What I did is to clean first...
Wipe Data, Cache, System, Dalvik Cache & do a Factory Reset, reboot.
Boot to Download Mode then flash Chainfire Superuser.zip using PC Odin to root.
Reboot & installed Busybox open it & install to systen/xbin done.
Turn on USB Debugging on Settings> Developer Options.
Flash Philz recovery....
Boot to recovery (Philz_recovery) then select Wipe > Wipe to install rom, after that wipe Dalvik, then flash Resurrection Remix 6.0.1_r61 v5.7.3, wipe Dalvik
Now flash Pico Gapps the wipe Dalvik...done!
Wait for it to boot it may take 5-10min

I am having EXACTLY the same problem here!!! It happened after I flashed stock BTU (UK unbranded) and then trying to revert back to BlissPop/CM13. Maybe the new stock boot/modem is not supported by custom ROM makers yet?
Could anyone confirm/solve this? Thanks a lot!

Just verifing. When flashing a new rom, you are clearing the old one out first, right?
Like wiping the cache, system, boot, ect.

(I'm #2) Did all the usual wipes. No problem with stock rom, but cannot boot after flashing any custom ROMs like CM13.

Sorry its taken me so long to reply back, had stuff going on. Anyways, after doing some studying and playing with my sisters G5. They seem to be very finicky with modifications, even after root and a custom recovery installed. One thing to try (because it happened on my skyrocket), is to reinstall your recoveries and do it with a computer, that how to get a stable install, if your already using a computer, then it sounds like a something from the old firmware may still be their. You may need to install the earliest stock firmware for your G5 out of the box, and root it from their, you may even need a complete stock restore then re-root and install your custom recovery. Also. I have had some roms take 20 minutes to boot, but thats the rom stabilising.

Unable to flash any custom ROM on Galaxy J5 SM-000F

I installed TWRP and also rooted the device. After doing that, I follow the exact same steps given to flash custom ROM. It's even successful but after installing GApps and then rebooting; it gets stuck on bootloader. Yellow and green lines appear and the screen gets completely green. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Did you find any solution?
Try installing 5.1.1 or 6.0.1 (what's needed) from your region. Install latest TWRP again, do a full wipe of dalvik, cache, data, system and try flashing again. Make sure you're installing the correct Gapps.

You must be flashing Nougat Roms. The screen is turning green because you are flashing Nougat Roms on MM 6.0.1 whereas for flashing Nougat Roms you need to be on LP 5.1.1 and use Vince's Official TWRP Recovery for flashing the Nougat Rom once you are on LP 5.1.1:good:
