First of all this thread is duplicate of another thread
Second if you do this on .216 system partition will not mount with supersu #i think it's RIC
so you need to kill RIC
Anyway this thread if not deleted moderator will close it
RIC will be Killed by kingroot itself (worked on my device) but even its an problem try this -https://github.com/dosomder/SonyRICDefeat.git
and then just try the supersu steps....
supersu working :laugh:
tested on xperia z1 C6902 and c6903

Flashable zip ?
How could you flash if don't have recovery
and if you tried to install locked recovery
Will not accept Kingroot and if you replaced it by SuperSU /system protected by RIC ?
I have my procedures to pass this problem
Tell me what you done
Kingroot will root your device first of all without quotes and its stable.(maximum root are done by this app only as it has covered far much devices)
the next trick is just open terminal as you had already installed from the downloaded data (first Extract mrw folder from the mrw.zip and move the folder to the sdcard and make sure that the folder contains 6 files in it)grant root access and then type "sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh" and just press enter and you are done Supersu will be installed by replacing the kingroot app.......!!!!!!! no problems of RIC or any thing.......... and if you want to install recovery use xzduakrecovery or follow this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/general/install-recovery-to-rooted-xperia-z1-t3371515
I can't confirm this put i will try to unroot my device and root with method to see if ric work or not
But since you say that you unlocked bootloader no problem will face root
Iam talking about locked bootloader
Anyway i don't talk without knowledge i will try and confirm
But in simple way we all hate 5.1.1 from sony due to memory and only few people still on stock so if i unlocked bootloader why i should have stock while i have dozens of custom roms
Stock in my openion had reached the end

I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANTHING GOES WRONG USING THIS METHOD!!! IT'S ONLY ONE THAT WORKED FOR ME, SO I'M JUST SHARING IT FROM MY EXPERIENCE! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
Hi everyone!
So, i was looking for root my new I8200N. Only way to do it is with VRoot/iRoot chinese application, but it installs Kinguser instead of SuperSu or Superuser. In my experience it's like half root coz many apps doesn't fully work with it. I tried everything i could find but nothing worked. I finally found solution so if you have troubles, here we go:
All requirements in attachment, just unrar it!
1. Install SAMSUNG USB Drivers (Recommended reboot!)
2. On AD (Android Device) go to | Settings > More > About | then press about 10 times on version number to unlock developer features. See at screenshot.
Then go back and enter developer settings. Check USB debugging, OK.

}
3. Connect your AD with USB to PC and finish driver installation if needed in Device Manager.
4. Install VRoot and open it
Between this two, mobile will ask something with long address. Just check remember for this PC or something like that and Allow/OK.. And for white windows, go to Deny or something like that. It's something about Google Play...
On PC press "Root" when becomes available.
Just wait a minute and phone will reboot and it should be rooted. It should be like this:
Optional: You can delete chinese apps that comes installed, you just need "Kinguser".
5. Settings > More > Security | check "Unknown Sources" and OK.
6. Copy Lucky Patcher to AD and install it. Open it and when Kinguser ask for permission, go to Allow. Update if available.
7. In Lucky Patcher go to | Toolbox > Patch to Android > Check:
- Signature Verification status always True
- Disable .apk Signature Verification
- Disable Signature verification in the package manager
Apply
AD will reboot, if not then reboot after it finished.
8. Copy "kinguser.apk" from attachment to AD and install it. Open it and when asks you for update, CANCEL it!
9. Unrar "mrw" from attachment and whole folder copy to AD. I found easier paste it in device than SDcard coz of address we'll gonna need later.
10. Install Terminal from Google Play. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=en
11. Open Terminal, type "su" (without quotes) and press enter. When promted for root access, Authorize/Allow it.
12. Now type "sh /storage/emulated/0/mrw/root.sh" (Without quotes). I pasted mrw folder in root of AD, so address is like that one in quotes. You can put it somewhere else, just type correct address. Then press enter. If any error or something comes up, just go for OK or what ever you got and don't worry it's normal. After few seconds, you will be promted for root access from SuperSU, Allow it!
Phone will reboot. Update SuperSU binary and app if needed.
Congratz! You are rooted with SuperSU!
I successfully rooted 2 devices with this method.
Happy rooting!
Just to highlight issues with this, vroot will install apps on your pc without you knowing even after uninstalling.
Also you can completely remove kingroot and replace with supersu by using another mod found on this forum.
You will need an app to mount system as read writable on boot. See the playstore.
Sent from a stolen phone!
That was the only way i could found that really works for me. Days i've been searching for root and this is only i could get working.
ROOT FOR SONY XPERIA E4 ALL FIRMWARES (DUAL AND SINGLE)
In this tutorial I am going to show you how to get ROOT access for your XperiaE4 device.
******Me or the developers of the Rooting applications/programs are not responsible for the damage that your phone might have after the process.
Prerequisites
1.A computer that is running Windows.
2.Internet connection.
3.Half an hour.
Let`s begin!
So there are two methods of rooting your E4 depending on the firmware that you currently use.
To find out which version of firmware you have you need to go to Settings>About Phone, and scroll down until you see which build number you have so you could follow the instructions.
First! 24.0.A.3.8/24.0.B.3.8
Witch this version is more simple to root.
1.Go to Settings>Security and tick Unknown Sources so you could install applications from other sources then Google Play store.
2.Go to this link: https://sites.google.com/site/androidxdacom/file/kingroot_4.1.0.703.apk?attredirects=0
3.Download the application and install it.
**You might get a screen saying that the application is a malware, tick the box and select install anyway.**
4.After you install the application, just let the app do it`s thing.
5.Reboot the device.
Second! 24.0.A.5.14/24.0.B.5.14
Here... Is a bit harder.
1.Download this program to your Computer. http://mmgr.myapp.com/myapp/Kingroot/webapp_kingroot/image/KingRootSetup_105002.exe
***Works only on WINDOWS***
2.Now, install KingRoot to your PC.
3.Go to your phone, Settings>Developer Options and activate USB Debugging
4.Connect the phone to the PC while KingRoot is running on your PC.
5.Wait until the device is recognized
6.Press the ROOT button and wait until the process is done.
That`s it. Those are the most simple methods to root your Xperia E4.

you must change the kinguser with something else..and then delete it...
check here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6IgvVRt3ak
not correct,doesnt work on newest firmware(25.0.A.2.31)
Easer way
Even if you have the latest firmware E2003_25.0.A.2.31 you can root your phone in 3 minutes even without the PC.
All you need is new KingRoot.apk and .... device AFTER factory reset. Because I'm new - I can not post a link, sorry.
But it's really easy to find it
Just install it as a normal apk.
Tested on my E2003 with E2003_25.0.A.2.31_1294-3054_R2A.ftf firmware.
Of course it's for E4G phone.

If you was one of those who root their devices by using KingRoot App and would like to remove kinguser and related files, you can replace it with the well known SuperSU. I have made a small script to remove Chinese kingruser, all related files and folders, and install SuperSU. This script will do all the work for you without using PC, just by terminal, first of all, thanks to chainfire for his SuperSU files.
Before starting :
I recommend to do a Factory Reset "CLEAN"
Update all of your apps and make sure your Google Play Service is also updated
Download and install KingRoot KingRoot Chinese or XDA KingRoot then run it to Root your device.
Download and install Terminal Emulator app
Download and unzip "Replace_Kingroot_With_SuperSU.zip" file
Steps :
Send the extracted folder "mrw" to the internal storage of your device and make sure that this folder contains 4 files
Open Terminal emulator and type :
Code:
su
Allow root permission
Type :
Code:
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh
If it ask you to delete Kingroot select delete
It might display some error, at the end it will launch supersu or open supersu manually.
Update su binary normal, then reboot.
Done !
Notes :
The extracted folder must be in /Phone/ or you will need to change cmd.
This script must work for all devices waiting tester.
You might need to update SuperSu after rebooting your device.
Please let me know the model of your device, if it worked for you.

You can try SuperSU Me by @gatesjunior
Which will remove all Kingroot apps installed in your device
Download and install Super-Sume Pro apps

Worked perfectly for me.
Worked great.

**I don't know what I might have done wrong but it did take a second time for it to work. So, if all else fails try it again.
[Read before proceeding]
This root method will only work on MetroPCS version of the LG Leon! Do test other devices at your own risk[not held liable]
Requirements:
Android Version: 5.1.1 *not so sure for eairler versions of Lollipop*
Software Version: MS34510f and Under
Enough space for app extraction [About 50MB]
Like always, before modifying the system MAKE A BACKUP!
I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG WITH YOUR DEVICE! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
Hello guys,
By far, for me this is one of the most simplest ways of rooting this phone. Lets get started
BTW All Downloads Below
1. Download KingRoot
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. Extract ZIP package with app desired or use a desktop, then place files onto phone
3. install the APK, and ignore any warning pop-ups
4.Open the app upon completion of app
5. You will be presented with the main screen saying no root avaliable, CLICK ON TRY TO ROOT
6. App will now start executing root
*May be slow so give it time
*Make sure to allow blocked apps if presented with a pop-up
7.If all went well you will be presented with a ROOT SUCCESSFUL screen OR phone will restart and you will have root
***At this point DO NOT request or run any apps that require root until the device is restarted.
8. Enjoy Root!
-If root is not accessible upon restarting, go into KingUser Su and click on REPAIR ROOT
-I do not know how to replace KingUser with SuperSU Sorry!
Goodluck!
Proof:
KingRoot APK: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9y1pDvJBE4nVk4wYlhCNjc4UkE/view?usp=sharing
KDZ Firmware MS34510f(METROPCS ONLY) : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9y1pDvJBE4nTEFFLXFraDgxOTg/view?usp=sharing
Firmware can be used for recovery purposes, a backup, and here for convinience!
How Can I delete the supersu folder using twrp or adb? I had root then let the SuperSU app do a full unroot and the supersu folder is still there. I even flashed the stock rom and the suspersu folder is on the internal (root) storage.
Thanks in advance
update: twrp internal storage wipe didn't help
Was it systemless root? I only ask because system root places folder in /system/app or in /data/app if installed as a regular app. I never tried systemless root so not sure where that goes but would assume the same place. Wiping internal with twrp should have erased it if it's in /sdcard. Since you can see the folder can you open it?

Hi...i know this is old thread unsolved.
If after a year changed there are way to remove /supersu folder please share..thanks
Edit:after few time changing twrp version to test which version could remove "supersu" folder.file inside that folder change.i think not supersu keep creating it but twrp itself.it's just my conclusion
