[Q] Flashing stock 7.006.03 fails

I'm having trouble flashing the stock rom vache has provided on the dev forum. (SD_Acer_A500_7.006.03_COM_GEN1.zip).
Downloaded fine, used the decrypt tool with key $12, Clear/wipe/format everything, and try to install with CWM.
Problem install aborts.
Can anyone help? I am assuming either the download is incorrect/incomplete, or the decrypt hasn't worked? Has anyone been successful with this rom?

Did you download an official acer rom from vaches thread
is it a full rom or just an incremental update - better check!
yes it could be a bad d/l - where did u get it
If it didnt decrypt you can check by trying to open it in windows. You wont be able to 'open' (not extract....) the zip if it is still decrypted
did u extract the actual "update.zip" and flash that?
make sure the you havent named it "update.zip.zip"
how did u try and install with cwm
if u use flash zip choice u dont have to rename it to update.zip
u do if u pick flash update.zip
What rom are u currently running??

Downgrade from Custom Lollypop Rom to Stock Rom

I'm on a custom Rom (Xoplaxos) and TWRP Recovery. I want to move back to Stock Rom 9, Kitkat or Lollypop. Can someone help me with step by step process in English.

I'm slightly worried with Lenovo...last time I tried to upgrade rom from rooted stock Kitkat to stock lollypop, my phone got bricked.
I've never faced such silly issues with my earlier phones i.e. Samsung Galaxy 3 , Galaxy Nexus, Xolo etc.
I need a step by step process so that I can successfully go back to to stock and then take the phone to service center as there is some issue with Vibration

Ok, I'll try to help you.
Because you're using XOPLAX (LP), custom recovery (TWRP), and Lenovo A6000 Plus. Right?
I suggest you to flash stock LP.
The Steps:
Download stock LP ROM from HERE. (Latest S030). Save it to PC first.
Open your downloaded file (A6000-s_S030_151030_WCAF.zip) using extractor app, eg WinRAR, WinZIP, etc.
Extract file System.zip (The biggest file in A6000-s_S030_151030_WCAF.zip).
Open System.zip using extractor app.
Go To META-INF\com\google\android folder.
Replace update-script file with new update-script file (Link Below, Extract first). Save your System.zip
(Optional) Double check the update-script file. Make sure it has been replaced.
Save it (System.zip) to your external card.
Enter to custom recovery (TWRP).
Flash System.zip
FINISH

Guys I want to know that the stock kitkat version s017 ends with words WCAF. What does it stands for ?
I have downloaded same version which ends with WCEC.
Does it make any difference ? and the steps provided will be affected or what ?
I am using Lenovo A6000+ with lates 5.0.2 update given in around Dec 2015, but want to downgrade to 4.4.4.

Which recovery are you on.
You can also flash the system file with stock kk recovery.

Either of them...I just want tp take the phone to the service center to be able to get it repaired as it has stopped vibrating...

If I were in your situation i would do the following.
1. Flash stock LP recovery.
2. Go to recovery.
3. Make a factory reset.
4. Flash stock lollipop rom.
DONE.

Please tell me..................i had twrp recovery with custom rom (XenonHD 5.1.1)
After your guidance i have flashed stock LP recovery .
But i want to install kit kat rom in my phone.
and want to install kitkat rom from lollipop recovery, can this is possible or i have to do anything extra

you can flash kitkat rom but after that flash a twrp recovery for kitkat using adb otherwise you won't be able to boot into recovery

1st of all please read full......
I want to backup my stock firmware from my lenovo a6000plus. But the back up should BEFORE ROOTED...! is it complicated task ?. I had done a rom dumb backup of one of my mtk(media tek) device (intex aqua marvel) using mtk droid tool and converted it into a flashable file and flashed with the help of sp flash tool( faild at the first time but after finding a suitable version of this tool, the operation succeed.) On the behalf of this delightful experience for me, i am asking dear iqbal is it possible to take up a firmware or rom dump backup of qualcomm devices ( lenovo a6000plus is a Qualcomm device... Right?) BEFORE ROOTING.
Please don't say it is not possible or say the reason of why not.
I cannot find a solution for this On all over the internet.
If you can't would you please reach me into the right person.?
If you want any help about my question please ask me and i have some screen shot when i was connected the lenovo a6000 plus on mtk droid tool or you can do that.

Can't install any ROM

Hi, thanks for your time.
Yesterday i try to install CM12.1 and CM13 whitout good end, each time i try to install these rom in recovery this error appears "This rom is not for your device, is only for: g620, G7-l01 ...". I have G7-L01 with lollipop stock firmware (B340), with TWRP. I also tried to change the recovery and android version, but nothing, anyone can help me?:crying:

Need update apk for EUI

Can someone help me in sending me the backuped copy of the update software on your x720. My rom doesnt have the update option. Thanks.

You might as well download official rom, rename it to update.zip and install from stock recovery. You're going to have problems with Google services though.

I tried using stock recovery with 18s.. mine is currently 17s. But it gives me message on stock recovery that the update apk is not found.. any solution for this ? Thanks..

My phone came with shop rom which had update removed. Flashed newer official rom with method above without any problems. Now running TWRP and TARS 19S though.

It is the official leeco download location.
Download, place it in the root of internal memory, rename to update.zip and install from recovery.
It has english language. If you need google apps, search for google installer.

Thanks for the advice.. i have installed TWRP recovery on my phone, tried the rom on your link http://bbs.le.com//zt/eui/le_pro3.html to install. But i got stuck at message "Patching System Image Unconditionally"
So I restarted and restored the old backup.. now back to old condition..
Any advice on why i get this stuck on flashing 18s file?

Factory ROMs don't always play nice with TWRP or any custom recovery. Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/development/t-r-s-19s-usa-version-para-lepro3-x720-t3514960 It's really clean and nice, haven't had a single problem with it.

Flashing stock rom gives Treble Compatibility error

Hello.
I'm trying to get my phone back to stock rom.
I'm using the TWRP from the [All In One] post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...overy-unofficial-twrp-touch-recovery-t3921637
And I'm trying to install the file I got from: http://en.miui.com/download-360.html
But when I flash the file (miui_LAVENDERGlobal_V10.3.5.0.PFGMIXM_a5cabeca22_ 9.0.zip) I get the error attached.
Can anyone help me with this error?

Download the zip file again from miui.com, if you’re using a custom rom go to ‘Wipe’ -> ‘Advanced Wipe’ and wipe the ‘Cache’, ‘Dalvik/ART Cache’, ‘Data’ and ‘System’ partitions.
Once you are done, go back and tap on the ‘Install’ button and browse the rom file.
If this doesn't work, try the fastboot method with the miui flash tool.

Thanks for the replies. I already formatted and wiped, and tried redownloading the stock rom file, but got the same error. I also tried the MIUI flash tool but got an error after doing the last step.
However... I did end up fixing the problem moments ago.
