Help for install Google Play after update to Android 5.02

I need some help to install Google Play services again, after update my K920 from
VIBEUI_V2.0_1448_ST_K920_CMCC (S102) Hardware version H-2-01 to VIBEUI_V.2.5_1526_5.574.1_ST_K920.
Tried without success : "4.4_GMSInstaller.apk", "GMSInstaller_V2.0.7.14.11.10.apk" and
"GMSInstaller_v2.0.7.141110.b31a992_ALL[rdv2-releasekey].apk". When I try to open GSMTools did not show me those three apk to install.
After installed : "com.forfun.ericxiang-1.apk" I have the option to install every apk from google ( google services framework, account manager, google play and all others ) still not working. All I get is : "Unfortunately, google Play services has stopped" and couldn't sign in google account ( there was a problem communicating with Google servers".
Need my google account for android wear ( for my watch ).
Also I try too root my phone with "root_twrp_K920Pro_Android5" option #1, of course with no success.

I did not belive, 237 views and not one reply .
Also tried : "http://pocketnow.com/2015/06/25/play-services-on-m9-plus", again without luck, even M9+ has lollipop.

okay first of all downoad 4.4.2 ROW rom by the QPST , you can find how to in this topic : http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/lenovo-k920pro-flash-chinese-version-to-t2905536
2- download and install all the available updates ( OTA ) from the system ( i know their is no signal but do not worry )
3- after you download all the updates for the ROW rom , you should be with 5.0.2 international rom with google play but with now sim signals
4- unlock the bootloader : http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-unlock-bootloader-lenovo-vibe-z2-t3114307
5- download TWRP for lollipop
6- flash the chinese moded file via zip format from the TWRP ( you can find twrp and the chinese zip here : http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1010427
7- it is done international lollipop rom with google play and all languages

Thanks for your help, those days when I played with my HTC HD2 software are past, now I am more rusty.
For a couple of days I will wait for a newer version of GMS ( is much easier and safe ) or at least all the detailed steps
from your method in english.

LeTV Max3-55-65-65 Pro Rooting & Playstore Sideload

Welcome to first of kind Android TV hacking in XDA
Here I will give you steps on How to root LETV Super TV X3-55, X3-65, X3-65 Pro
Disclaimer: I will not be responsible if your TV gets into a costly brick. The risk is entirely yours.
Rooting : (X3 series - all working)
a) Download kingoroot apk from https://root-apk.kingoapp.com/kingoroot-download.htm
b) Click on root button (Will work after 2 - 3 times, may even exit and turn blank, Dont worry)
c) Now you have got root
d) Download Root Explorer and install the apk
e) Push the all the folders like app, priv-app, etc,framework (Letv Gapps v1.0) from the attached link inside \system folder and merge using root explorer.

g) You have google play store (Set it up!)

Rooted and experimenting as Playstore updates itself and I am unable to patch it !
Is it OK if I give a non stable release with Playstore not working ??

You can also root it with kingroot.apk Works fine with US version. Sometimes you need to run it couple times.
I did it long ago with my x3-55pro US version. It also works with Indian ROM
English version attached.

It should work with US versions. I didnt have a tester though.
Dipcore has a US firmware. He can provide you custom ROM.

Yes that will allow you to login with youtube app or any other app which uses google services. Basically all google services will work. The only problem is with the play market. It stops working after self-update (which does not affect any other apps, youtube will still work).
As a temporary workaround you can go to android settings -> apps -> all. Find the Play market and press on "Delete Updates". That gives you an option to use play market till next self-update.

And my youtube app force closes itself on startup

Not sure then. I'm going to make a separate thread tonight with my custom firmware. It has youtube and google services pre-installed (as many other changes) So you will be able download and install it, if you want.

Allwinner R16 Android 6.0.1 CAR

Hi,
I just bought a new unit with Allwinner R16 with Android 6.0.1 - all is working i have just few questions.
Here is the info with the versions:
MCU: 5.3.19-3-20-047101-170224
System version: V7.3.1_20161221.185302_ACX13
My Questions:
1. I tried to install AutoMate and i can't make it work with One Touch and tablet talk (can't call from the App)
2. How can i add widget to control the brightness ?
3. How can i add widget to direct dial from screen and not from Bluetooth ?
4. Reboot widget to the system ? how to reboot it ?
5. How to root it ?

Hi,you can root the unit using kingoroot APK but it not succeed in every unit.
My unit have a touch asset option in the desktop drop menu which give you widget for brightness and vol.control.
I have reboot APK you can install it .
Can you do dump of partition 11 ( flashable files) or ask your seller for a link to download your unit firmware. Thanks.

I just know how to attach files to my reply,found attached kingoroot apk and reboot apk.
for kingoroot,copy apk to usb and attach it to your unit, install apk using apk install app or from file explorer. run the kingoroot with wifi enabled and follow instruction. may rooting succeed and somtetimes failed, if failed there is a trick done in my unit of 20161229-tw2 version, 2017 version will crash.
after you got failed screen ,he will give you option of reroot ,use it and black screen will appear then use reset button[small hole in the screen side] to reboot. unistall kingoroot and reset again then reinstall kingoroot and run it, if you are luky your kingoroot tell you that root accesed. then you can use any supersu from google play and if it work and given file explorer root permession,then unistall kingoroot and its supersu app and reboot.
for reboot apk ,give you option of reboot to system or flash mode option.
I hope that my notes is usefull.

I got these steps from 4PDA forum, may be a little different than my way but try it.
About getting root on the A6. That's 100% Working Instructions:
(at least I always work)
1. Install KingoRoot and chainfire SuperSU from google play
2. Connect the Internet, run KingoRoot, press the button: One Click Root.
3. As a result, after a 90% progress will see the message: ROOT FAILED - Error code: 0x1B3AB4 . SU also may rebooted (restarted).
4. In the same window click the button: Give IT another shot
5. Next, press the button again: One Click Root, again came to 90% and the same error, restart the superSU.
6. At this stage, a new SuperUser app, delete it!
7. Run SuperSU, click New User (new member), exit the application and go again. It will now be prompted to update the Super SU binary. Click "continue" and press the "Normal" button. After a successful update, SuperSU prompted to restart.

Help|Magisk 15.3 in Galaxy s8 plus.

Hello xda, i have a problem with magisk root.
I installed WifiKill and more tools of network managment and when i try to start the Wifikill proccess i've got an error
ioctl Permission denied
Someone know's how to solve this problem ?

AFAIK, WifiKill isn't maintained anymore regardless where you get your copy from.
Tried to use it back then on my S7E (Now on Note8) and it wouldn't work (Neither SuperSU or MagiskRoot)
Not an issue with Magisk itself but rather the App.
You can jump to alternatives such as dSploit/ cSploit from F-Droid etc., those recognize and are updated.

cSploit won't work too.

Any help?

How to manually update a Redmi note 7 without root

Hi everyone, I've had this Redmi note 7 for a couple of years now. In the last few months its software started behaving erratically:
- Settings app doesn't work anymore, it gets stuck as soon as you open it
- No google apps work besides Google chrome (play store even lists possible app updates as: (, , , , , , , , )
- Keyboard doesn't open
- 3/4 of the installed apps behave like settings does
- Connecting it to a PC doesn't allow you to access the phone memory if not through adb
- Every x minutes a message pops up saying that "The security app is not responding"
Because of the points listed above, it became impossible for me to update the OS from settings and try to fix this whatever is happening. After looking online for a bit I found a guide that basically had this steps:
- Download the update.zip from xiaomi website (Done)
- Move the zip file to the root folder of the phone
- Restart the phone and enter recovery mode
- Select the options "Update from update.zip" or something similar
The problem I have with step 2 is that whenever I try to move the zip, it denies permission. Trying to get in as root throws "disabled in production build" error (I guess because the phone is not rooted).
Is there any way to recover this crippled phone? Has any of you ever witnessed anything similar to what is happening to it? Is there a way to update the OS without using apps/settings or root?
If you need additional info just ask and I'll provide.
