Sorry to bother you guys with such a dumb question, but I can't find anything on this topic. My Mate 8 version is NXT-L29C900B156. What is this version, is it really the latest? It says so in the Updater... What region is it? Can I apply a different one without much hassle? Can it affect my radios or usability?

Waddup =D!
im a novice with this "smartphone fever". i had a nokia 7500 for 4 years so... ya know XD.
Im posting this, cuz i really want to update my rom version. I've been reading the threads on several foruums 'bout this topic, but i didn't find any answer. So, i fear to lose the operator's services, o sim incompatibility if the update go wrong.
There isn't any posible legal or official update cuz in this hellhole country (venezuela) the technology & updates on this devices are very few, (most are in blackberry platforms). I know there's an update to WM6.5 in some countries, but here is not the case. so, chaging my rom version will affect the operator configuration o the sim configuration?
Sorry if there's any phrase written in Indian english, my englis is not so correct .
Thnx for tha help.
Other thing, someone know 'bout a QR code reader for snap? i've googled serching one but it was useless :S'
thnx for tha help
See ya
Hi all!
I had the chance to buy via Amazon US the Motoactv at a more reasonable price (180$ vs202€ in Italy!!!).
Well now i think I have kinda di problem of geographic limitations for update the device and, Furthermore, it's only English and no optionfor italian (not a big issue actually but I'd prefer it). So i was thinking at rooting the watch in order to install European version or even one of the cooked rom for this little jewel. Question is: is it possible to root without having updated the device to the very last firmware release? Im now with 1.7.8 and I know there's out the 1.7.12.
Any answer really appreciated.
Thx
Andrea

It's best to update, as it updates the bootloader as well, but I don't think it's required.
Probably a stupid question but ive searched and i cant find the answer so please help....
If i want to go back to stock and install 4.3 from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2252982 what relevance does the country make.

I've used Australia firmware and tried using it in NZ, Data roaming did not work I think I had other comp ability issues as well but this was on a S2. If you change firmware to a different country it may void warranty but I'm not 100% sure on this because its still stock... Personally I wouldn't go back to 4.3 have you seen all the issues on this forums? lol
Hi Guys,
I have read everywhere but I have found confusing messages. I am not sure if there is a way to unlock Bootloader for H870DS or root this phone. I can see the option of Enable OEM unlock in my developer settings. I am not sure if that makes any difference or not. Please apologize if this has been answered somewhere as I could not find much which is most recent.
Thanks

There is no option for unlock nor root. Given the phone is now old and updates are no longer supported, I think there is a hope that LG will provide the code to unlock them all. However, no word yet.
One thing for me is certain. I ain't buying an LG phone again, ever. Experience is just too poor.
Oh, I dont know why some ROM chefs are saying their ROM should work with this version. May be I read it wrong or something else was inferred. Anyways, this is terrible to hear that despite of so much sales and user demand, unlocking has not been provided.

Hi...
hmmm aha that should be a question...here in germany the questions have a complete different layout^^
but i will try to help you based on the massive and extensive information you give in your so called "question"
first...i think its the best you remove the malware from the Device
second...if you need to flash then flash 24/7 if you want
I guess that should answer your question correctly!!!
So...and for the next Question here are some notes for you.
so first you should inform us about which cell phone you have at all. Because there are different versions of the p10 lite. Is it single sim or dual sim? Does it have 3Gb or 4Gb RAM? Which firmware was installed last? If you know the country code ... as an example C432 for Europe or C02 for Vodafone brand. Can the cell phone still be started? What have you already tried to fix the problem yourself? What would be important for some devices (Huawei too) ... is the status of the bootloader lock / unlock and whether OEM (FRP) is lock / unlock? So this is information with which you can start something or which is needed to first get an idea of the situation. Without information ... no solution

Nice said,sry its my fault.
The phone is Huawei p10 lite (WAS-LX1A),single sim.
It has 4 GB RAM.
The build number is WAS-LX1A 8.0.0.394(C432) and i've never touched the bootloader.
Since i done factory reset can't enable the ''OEM unlock''.
I think i was hacked while i were on public wifi.
Someone just control my phone, some of settings just changed, battery drained more than usual, also i got security alerts from Google that my somebody logged in my account from Windows (i use linux machine only).
I forgot to mention than the virus just remain after factory reset.
What you can suggest me to do guys ?
Please,guys someone help me.
