Hey guys,
Just wondering which ROM's people are using and which is the best for daily driver use?
I've created a Poll so get voting...

I am using H2OS MM, best I have ever tried.... everything work so well!
Grarak cm13. Works perfectly.

I`d say that u should add Beanstalk Rom, it works perfect for me as a daily driver.
I've tried pretty much all of them. As much as I love stock Android H2OS is unbeatable
Great Performance, extraordinary battery life, stable as a rock.

Which version are you using? The one from xda or from the oneplus forums?
Using RR

but out of all these oos3 is the best daily driver in terms of FP, LTE and Wifi.
and after oos sources are released i will directly go to RR, superb ROM
Using OOS 3. FPS is as fast as Huawei Honor 7 and battery life is OK. No matter which rom i use I can only get 2-3h of SOT.

It's the same thing. Download the latest one v004 it just came out of beta. It's the best ROM by far trust me . UI is different and you may not like it. If you add Google Now Launcher or Nova you may find it tolerable . I'm using it with the stock H2OS Launcher. I go back to Grarak's CM from time to time but I always come back. Maybe when stable OOS comes out I'll try that. But if you want great battery life try it. And really fast fingerprint

3h SoT but with heavy usage.
Till now following are the best daily drivers...
1) Hydrogen os with debolter - 5 to 5.30 Sot.....
2) exidos 13/04/2016 nightly.... 5.30 hrs... Sot
3) RR rom 4.30 hrs sot
4) nexus experience rom 4.30 hrs sot
All above are mention in my usage.... If i use all above roms for all day.. sot may decrease by 1 to 1.30 hrs... Because there is a negative correlation between standby time and sot..
Sent from my ONE A2003 using XDA-Developers mobile app
H2OS(004) debloated is stable, very good battery,no heating issue, quick and accurate fingerprints, good call quality.
It lacks some features such as advanced reboot but we can find similar apps on playstore.
I'm using OSS 2.2.1 till the release of v3.
Go with Grarak's CM 13..
I'm also putting my vote on H2OS. Smooth, good battery life.. Takes a while to get use to the notification settings and permission but after that it's all good. And the fingerprint scanning is really fast.
Sent from my ONE A2005 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I tried H2OS, but I just couldnt get past all the chinese stuff.
I had things popping up and no idea what it meant or what to press lol.
But thanks for all the options, this thread is growing, think I need to edit the poll and add more options...

i am looking for a custom rom for my sgs2 but dont know witch one feeds my needs. looking for one close to the original one but with lots of tweaks en add ons in it like battery mod and extended menus. whay do you guys suggest?
Try cognition 1.5 it's quite close to stock with lot of additions like advanced power menu and tweaks. Definitely a rom to try.
Don't listen to them, just stick to samsung firmware... all custom rom are not stable and they release just for market testing.

Are you serious no roms are stable? How many have you actually tested?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Yes serious bro, not stable enough... i try many of them.
1) slow in viewing photo and internet.
2) battery usage not stable
3) will not be able to do multi application
4) ...
Try DarkyRom2, very close to stock without any unecessary tweaks. Running perfect without any issue and great battery life with Speedmod kernel t27

never had any of them troubles with leomar perhaps you have been trying the wrong roms mate
leomar is stable , has great battery life , can be customised greatly via themes/mods/patches as one wishes via his application , offers great support ive dontated 3 times his support is so good and is generally an amazing piece of work where he listens to users and trys to offer what they want
i have tried a few others but just found leomar to be a great dev and his rom to be top notch stuff
check it out
thumbs up for LeoMar Revolution ROM.
he is also one of the most helpful and active devs here.
Thx will try some of those and see wat is best for me

Leomar Revolution is the best rom I've used.
stable, A LOT of themes, very easy to use configuration app
im use criskelo v14 on my sgs2 and for me its the best rom
litening v5 with ninpheta 2,0,5 rock steady...
no problems what so ever.
nice and long battery life, fast browser
nice launcher coming with it.
no wipe rom it is simply a nice and stable rom
Thank LitePRO
I sense the problem you have may be in fact user error rather than the ROM being unstable. Which ROMs did you try that weren't able to "do multi application"?

Hey guys,
I want to buy either a xperia z, htc one or a find 5.
I like the find 5`s hardware the most, but ive heard some bad things about the overall performance and stability of the find 5.
No matter which of the phones ill buy in the end, i will run CM or AOKP on it, most likely the pac rom. Under this rom, will there be any huge differences in performance or stability between these three phones? Are there any issues (camera?) ill only get on the find 5?
thank you very much
If you're going to out cm on them, then go for the Find 5. The stability and performance issues are on stock firmware. Project firefly fixes those issues
Sent from my X909 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Yep like Osmo said, if your gonna run CM on it this is the phone to get. If for nothing else, the warranty doesn't get voided via rooting or flashing.

CM fixes a bunch of things that is not perfect on stock firmware. The only downside to CM is camera quality, audio fidelity and the lags that start happening after about an hour from boot. Firefly is still in beta but fixes the lag in comparison to stock, fixes the heavy battery drain, and some other things bit it adds a bunch of little neat eye candy stuff

First off it amazingly beautiful. It goes hand in hand with this phone, it silky smooth and the battery is way better.
However there are some bugs with Gmail and your contacts don't sync. Period.
I WILL wait for the final version to come out and will go back!! It's just a beautiful huge UPDATE.

I am on stock rom rooted with dor. Kernel
I want to flash a rom lg based ofc but i want the same battery life and the most stable out there with no force closing and lagfree hopefully
I read that energy rom is so smooth but i want the most problem free rom too...
Answer based on your experiences please
I get from 5 to 6 hours screen on with some gaming like candy crush and browsing quite often
So if you know a rom that can provide same battery life with no lag or bugs or forceclosing pls advise
I dont want to mess up my new phone with flashing a lot of roms and trying this and trying that
So if anyone can help me, pls do.

Hi, can't give you specific rom. Right now I am using the rom and kernel combo you said, so far so good with performance antutu 37900+.
What I can tell you is that, you can play around because you can always go back to stock unrooted. Just read properly and follow instructions.

Can't remember on top of my head which ROM was but I got 15+ hrs screen time, no FC whatsoever even though I got it from Apple Appstore. Also I can run any Windows executable file on it. It's superior!
That's the most stable ROM I got.
Again, it is based on my experiences

ROM will be pretty much irrelevant. The vast majority are AOSP based, with the differences being visual tweaks and added features, which add little, if any, drain on the battery. Some features, like pocket mode, might drain a bit more, but it's up to you to use them. All will run smooth as butter, stock. It's things like live wallpapers, excessive widgets, and apps running in the background that'll cause lag and stutters.
Custom kernels can help with battery life, but it's a small percentage, and it depends more on how you use the phone. A wakelock detector app plus Greenify can keep your phone from constantly waking and syncing, and that helps battery life a lot. And of course, screen brightness is the biggest battery killer of all.

Well if you want a really smooth and battery friendly rom, I'd recommend the L preview.. If you want a Kk rom I'd recommend liquidsmooth as it's feature packed and optimized really well. I personally have used both and right now use LS with Unleashed kernel.. It's a great combo. But in the end you gotta try out doff things to see what you like

Well I doubt you would be able to even install an ota update of the official L.. You'd have to probably flash a new rom based on it or flash the factory image once it's out.. I'm sure rooted base roms of L would come out within a week of the release so you could flash that.. But if you want the ota, then you can go back to factory image 4.4.4 after release of L and get the ota after.. But no root.
Hi guys just got my opo.
Wich rom do u raccomend and why?
Thanks

Temasek is awesome. But the only thing that drove me off CM12 builds are the Bluetooth volume control. Once you go to 70%, it will keep increasing in the background and the audio gets all distorted. Being a person who keeps his bluetooth on all day, I'd prefer to listen to my music blasting out and a nice, fixed, clear way - rather than having my ears blown to smithereens.
One more thing. I reverted back to 4.4.4 because of the plethora of working features. I don't want to be chasing waterfalls and always update to the latest ROM because of being new. I bought this phone because I like the potential it had on stock, and wanted to get the most out of it from a custom ROM. Mahdi was the way to go. Until I feel Lollipop is an upgrade rather than a downgrade, in features, I won't go back on my Daily Driver phone.
I may flash the odd Lollipop rom on my black OnePlus though. Keeping my bamboo one free of issues first.

Pretty much same situation as nicholaschum, running mahdi and ak until there's a more feature rich version of lollipop available. Probably euphoria since they're the same team that worked on mahdi.

I was using euphoria builds on and off but the dev here had an attitude publish so that's put me off using it and also CM gets far quicker fixes and there is something satisfying about doing your own builds as well.
I'm on rooted CM 11s waiting for BlissPop to iron out some little glitches.
