I'm having an issue where after taking a picture, I go to review the picture by tapping the small preview on the bottom right corner. I get to see the picture and when I hit the back button to go back to the camera the phone will freeze for a few seconds. The most has been about 10-15 seconds. Its happening a lot more. I've force closed, cleared data, forced stopped and still same issue. I have done one factory reset and same issue. I actually have two S7 Edge that are doing the same thing. Any thoughts? Help would be greatly appreciated! :good:

I have only just noticed this weird error with the screen of my phone. I have read of similar problems but I haven't seen anything the same as mine. I have a feeling that it is something to do with the keyboard. Some buttons don't work properly and the start menu constantly flickers. If the start menu stops flickering for a minute then when I press the center button the start menu pops back up, same thing happens if i press space on the keyboard. This happens in both portrait and landscape so its not the same as the screen alignment problem. I have uploaded a (dodgy) video to youtube if it helps anyone: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=fva2ZJL5egY
Thanks in advance.
I now have a feeling the problem is with my keyboard. The o, l and p keys dont work unless i mash them really hard for 5 minutes and the delete key doesn't work sometimes. This is making me think that the start button might also be acting up. Anyone have any ideas? If I can't get this fixed by the weekend then I'll probably get an iphone.
I have the stock AT&T Pure.
For some reason I can't figure out, the camera isn't working properly anymore. It starts up fine, the autofocus works, I can enter the Settings and the Advanced Settings menus and change settings without problem.
However, when I touch the shutter button to actually take the photo, the camera responds like it should, makes the shutter sound, and even displays the photo I just took on the screen. But that's where it freezes. The photo "review" never goes away. I've even tried changing the review duration to zero, but when I take a picture the screen just becomes white and freezes there. The "back" arrow button below the screen does not respond when this happens, nor does the Home button. But the "end call" button does take me to the home today screen. From there, if I go back to the camera tab and touch the icon to start the camera, nothing happens. The button responds visually when I touch it, but the camera does not start. Only a soft reset (or sometimes running CleanRAM at Level 3) will make the camera app start again, but still not completely take a photo. No photo is actually stored/saved when this happens.
I thought it might be due to lack of free memory, but even after a soft reset or running CleanRAM this still happens. I even tried reducing the resolution to see if that did anything, but it didn't.
I think it has to be one of the other apps I installed that's interfering with the camera. After a hard reset, the camera worked fine. Then after I installed my apps this started happening again. Nothing I can see in the registry settings for the camera look incorrect or out of the ordinary. Only one or two of my apps have functions that access the camera, and the same thing happens when I enter the picture mode in them. I removed both of them but still have the same experience.
Any ideas?
I'm afraid there is no other way:
- hard reset
- install your apps one by one, softresetting each time
- check the camera
- install another app
...
In the end you will know what's wrong.
Hello
i am not able to post in the Dev section where the other bug reports seem to be , as I am new, so I am posting here in case it helps. If there is some where else I should, please let me know.
Running 7.1.1 N4F26I on an oppo find 7 x9076,
When the screen is off, and i press the power button to wake it up, on some occassions, the screen is weird; the vertical left half and right half are interchanged. T
So the screen which should look like [AB] looks like B][A
I am able to bring up the reboot menu by pressing the power button and touching the reboot icon (which appears to the right of where it originally should. he only recourse is to reboot, to revert to normal.
This doesnt happen every single time that the screen is off, but I am not able to reliably reproduce. I'd reckon this happens 1 in 10 times.
Other than that, great ROM, and very snappy on the Find 7.
Basically my S7 Edge has been having an issue, every time after I use the lock or power button I cant turn it back on after. The blue Light LED is visible, occasionally (I'm assuming just emails or texts) and if I use the power button while the phone is on the bottom half of the screen just flickers for a second a white flash. If I try to force reboot it, it occasionally works but other times it 'dims out' the screen and I cant really see the Samsung logo followed by my career logo (OPTUS). It randomly works when I leave it for a while or I try to spam force restart. It doesn't seem like a hardware Issue because it happened randomly maybe a month or so after I got a decent crack on it.
I have wipe cache in the partition haven't reset it yet though.
I made a video because I know I'm describing it pretty bad hopefully you'll watch it.. (watch till end for the white flashes)
please enter the dot because I cant post links

So, whenever my battery gets bellow 14% my galaxy starts to have a weird problem.
My screen basically turns off whenever I open some apps or watch a full screen video on twitter (not every single video makes the screen turn off, only some of them)
When this happens I can lock and unlock the phone and the screen will start to work again, but as I said, whenever I open a video or a app the screen turns off.
I don't know what is happening and I can't find answers to this problem, I've seen online that some people are having the same problem as me but no one had answers for why this happens.
My s8 is the SM-G950W
If your screen turn on when you press power button then there might be some issue with your software.
Do a factory reset.

As the battery level gets lower, the problem gets more apparent, here's a video.

I'll try to do a factory reset to see if it fix the problem.
