The data notifications is really annoying ..
For those who still will not install, the problem is that the notification of the state of data traffic, is always active and has no way to remove.
That is, when data traffic is active is saying that is active (always) and when data traffic is inactive it is saying that this inactive (always), and there's no way to remove the notification.
Anyone have any ideas?

Has two pro apps. And some additional available on Market.
Keep traffic data indicator persistent in status bar (can be turned off).
SE Calendar widget missing (exist in Nordic).
Kernel still from 2nd of March.

No, you only need to edit the file. This can be done externally or own phone, with some text-editing app.
But, in attached is the edited file, just extract and copy it to:
/system/etc/customization/settings/com/android/phone
Note: you need root access.

Well I've been tweaking with it the all afternoon and I must say that now I'm starting to like ICS. Call me noob, call me dumb but this Iberic version is wayyyyy better than the original Nordic (plus the .tft has around 30/40Mb more). It's running smoothly with no FC's (the only FC I got was on Dead Space HD and we all know that HD gaming on ICS is still null).
I've rooted and uninstalled some bloatware and it's really (and freakin' FINALLY) flying!
The only thing I dislike is the date icon on the top! Can you guys guide me on how to take it off?

I would like to flash this version to see if it's really faster than the nordic version (which i currently have on my phone). Does anyone knows if I can flash this version without losing data? It's just to avoid all that backup & restore & customization process.

Lollipop Bugs !

Note- This thread is solely for Lp bugs, pls dont post questions about how to install the update and all. thanku.
So as every1 here enjoying the taste of lollipop...for which we waiting for such a long time, has some missing features...we can say bugs..
1) No sdcard support.
I just installed the Astro file manager,and on the first boot it showed me sdcard compatibility error, the same as we had in kitkat.
2)No multi user feature.
Even this feature is missing in this build of lollipop.
3) open recent apps menu > clear all > again launch recent apps menu > u ll find a random card of app
also u will find an error of "couldnt load widget" at top. look at the screenies
4) u tell me, i ll add here...
EDIT- If u got a problem and u found out the solution ...pls let u know here, i ll add it to the op so that any1 could find the solution easily
I dont understand y motorola hasn't included these feature in our lollipop build , Mayb its just a soak test so ? lets hope motorola clears these bugs soon and give us whole lp taste, or else we can wait of cm12..

No silent mode option. We have to reduce media volume to 0 to activate silent mode. I am thinking of rolling back to 4.4.4. This lollipop update is crap. ART runtime takes $hit load of space and fugly eye candy material design crap exists everywhere. Moto E does'nt have decent hardware for Lollipop.
Only thing which is good is that the animations and all the apps seem to be running smoother.

i factoryreset my cell aftr update, i got only 1.74gb free,where we used to get 2.1 gb in kk...
and talking about the data control, its missing in everyones 5.0.1, its been implemented in 5.1

guys,....i think sdcard access is there....we can play big games by keeping obb file in sdcard...without root

well actually sorry for this, but we just discovered that the obb files gets detected, but games keep on popping up the msg "the game has been dwled successfully, touch ok to start playing"
lets hope for a workaround soon!

I haven't found any kind of bugs yet,M having 2 Moto E and i have updated both to Lollipop but its running till now without any problems!

Google Assistant working on our dear Shamu

Hey guys good news just tested Google assistant working on my nexus 6 running custom 7.0, here's what you need to do,
Add this line to build.prop
ro.opa.eligible_device=true
And product model to Pixel and also you must have the latest Google app version and voila
So for guys still having crashes ill tell what you've to do
1- rooted Nexus 6 running stock or custom 7.0 with root Explorer
2- Google app 6.6.14.21.arm with pixel launcher installed
3- go to root Explorer and edit the build.prop as mentioned above, for our device it is necessary that you also edit product model to Pixel
4-reboot your phone
5-wipe data from Google app
6-press long home button, assistant should work now
7-ok Google detection from any screen is broken atm
8-if you want ok Google inside assistant, uninstall Google app updates and in previous Google app version go to voice and record your voice 3 times, this would make ok Google work inside assistant not from home screen or any other screen
9-press thanks if I helped

It works on my Nexus 6 by long pressing the home button.
But .......... I made the pesky Google search bar transparent and removed the Google logo.
The search bar is there but not visible.
Now it is white again - ugly.

Yes reboot your phone and give sometime it'll work, I wiped Google app data two to three times before it started working

Works for me, although I needed to change my phone language to English for it to work at all. Hope it will be supporting more language in near future. It really is an awesome feature!

Edit: confirmed, it works for me too. Needed both build.prop changes, and after the second change, I've cleared the Google app data, and after the reboot it worked.

Thanks for replying. That was the behavior I was seeing as well. I'm Google app version 6.6.14.21.arm. Running Stock Nougat - Rooted. I've reverted the build.prop changes for the time being.
I thought it was maybe the storage permission not being granted, but I allowed it and the issue still persisted.
I'm unable to grab any logcats due to some logcat read error.

Works on my Shamu, except for the voice model won't stick.

Yes, it's annoying.
I'm on Danvdh stock lite nova launcher rom, if that matters.

Please provide a working modded 5x5 or 5x6 TouchWizHome for Marshmallow

Dear Experts,
I (have to be) using the ROM of artas182, because it's the only ROM which working encryption (that I could find till now).
But it is a port from Galaxy S5, so everything there looks huge. I have downloaded a program to reduce the DPI. The icons
got smaller, but there is a huge border of wasted space around everything and the grid of the home screen and the apps
is still 4x5.
Can please anyone kindly provide a modded TouchWizHome.apk for Marshmallow with a 5x5 or 5x6 grid ?
I found a few others, but when I tried them by replacing my original TouchWizHome, it simply says TouchWizHome has
stopped working. I even tried to wipe Dalvik cache once, but it didn't help
I have also tried installing S Launcher, but sorting the icons is quite cumbersome and I think it made my phone slower.
PLEASE help me with this, I will be very very thankful!

Go to threads of S5; themes & apps section, go to grace ux app and download Launcher of note 7. Fast,smooth, low size than default.

Hello and many thanks for your reply. Yes, I would like to give it a try !! Can you please post a download link ? Why is it not smooth ? Do you think that it won't be crashing with TouchWizHome has stopped ?
I have changed the DPI with an app from 480 (which was default of the artas ROM) to 400. The original TouchWizHome from the ROM isn't crashing, but it leaves a big frame of wasted space around it. Will your TouchWizHome match my DPI setting of 400 ?
Till now I have tried S Launcher and Next Launcher. Both are cool and working fine, but unfortunately they are not comfortable to use, as it's not possible to add screens in the app drawer - for example, I keep the apps which come with the ROM on a separate screen, games as well and here I don't have this possibility.

Sorry, I am not sure that I fully understand you. Is there ONLY TouchWizHome .apk posted ? And what is Grace UX ? I went a little bit through the topics and I have come to the conclusion, that Grace UX is a whole ROM. So you probably mean, that I should download that whole ROM and exctract TouchWizHome.apk and replace that in my ROM ? Is that correct please ?

OK, due to some weird reason, this won't work. I've reset my phone and restored a backup (which is with the old DPI settings). Now I've put your file, set the permissions and rebooted - I found myself in the so called easy screen, where the icons are even much bigger than before
Android 6 is the most frustrating phone experience I ever had!
Isn't there an Android 4.3 ROM for this phone ? I found one on google, but unfortunatly it didn't boot Thank you!

S5 port is the best. I dont know what u did wrong. U shoud rename the file same as old touchwiz launcher.

Anyway if U want to flash stock firmware of samsung always use this site than sammobile. Sammobile doesnot provide 4files firmware so it may create issues after boot. Choose your galaxy note 3 model number and download any android version u want. But backup everything on internal storage. Best of luck

I have changed the DPI with an app from 480 (which was default of the artas ROM) to 400. The original TouchWizHome from the ROM isn't crashing, but it leaves a big frame of wasted space around it. Will your TouchWizHome match my DPI setting of 400 ?

Clear cache and data for touhwizhome then go to recovery mode..

Thank you. Just I have Android 4.3 on my old phone (SGS3) and it's just perfect. Everything works. This is why I'd like to have it on my Note 3 as well. The model is SM-N9005. I tried at least 10 custom ROMs and it's such a scan - encryption simply doesn't work nowhere !!! Terrible !!!
This website you sent me - what format are the ROMs ? I have TWRP and I don't plan on flashing stock recovery, as it's soooo lame. I downloaded once a stock ROM but it wasn't a .zip and I somehow couldn't flash it.

Which S5 port ? Do you mean the one by artas ? I don't know what I did wrong either. But it's the same with all TouchWizHome.apk files I tried. I am renaming it to exactly that name and I am making the permissions 664, just as the original ROM and then baaaaaang, stopped working once I reboot!
Anyway, I think I'll stay with my current setup - 400 DPI and Next launcher. I'll just live with the fact that I can't have the games on a separate screen :-/

Hi, I download a 4.3 ROM from this website but I cannot deploy it with TWRP. It says can't find /META/.... whatsoever. PLEASE HELP...

i dont know becoes i have not the hardware.

I saw that and realized it's the rom I've been using. The guy in charge .. horrible at replies. I think I bricked my watch now.

its a edit of janjanś rom the lte EU version.
to make it working just format the watch system/data.. and u will need to restore the included vendor "firmware" from the twrp backup
anyways i did mention in the post its for EU .. im sure you can unbrick it with fastboot the backup does not include any bootloader changes

Sooo, how did you get rootpayenabler to work... ive tested your image, it works fine. but i went back to Janjan, i think it has to many apps, it just feels to bloated sorry.
but Gpay works on your ROM!. and i still cannot get it to work on JanJan official ROM witch is a little weird

Hello, I managed to get the rom on watch, now its working! But how can I enable google pay on it? When I set up my card, phone says "This phone can't be used to pay in stores. This may be because it is rooted or altered in some other way." Thank you!

Getting further by dowloading a superuser and installing it as a zip via twrp, but exacly when in the process i should use the commands so the watch wont update?
