[LIST] Complete Bloat File List For Galaxy S III Mini

As the thread name suggests.. its the complete bloatware list present in samsung galaxy s 3 mini.... these files can be found with in the system\app folder.... deleting them will make ur rom lighter (for developers)... if you are just an average user then u can use titanium backup pro(paid) or app quarantine(free - link ) and freeze these apps... freezing will help your rom to get free and fluid.... u will be needing rooted device...

remember always make a nandroid back up before experimenting with ur device.
i dont know functions of all the apps. just know that these are the files that may be claimed as JUNK.
some apps ( resembling almost same names ) are components of each other. one may not work without other.
app quarantine is a very good free app to freeze these things if ur just an average user ( dont delete from system/ app folder)..
if ur a new developer then this list is meant for u.. u can delete this apps from system/app folder before building roms.
and last but not the least :
i tested it myself. leaves ur device with only the core or necessary apps... but im not responsible for any damaget to ur device. if something goes wrong then restore from nandroid back up.
P.S : can some one recommend this to be pinned as it may help newbie developers in future and save the chunk of time.

You can also add SysScope.apk - it's the package that checks whether the ROM is modified. And also DataCreate.apk - seems to be some form of factory test app, not actually used.

[Q][N910F] Is there a list of applications that are safe to be removed/deleted?

It seems that there is no thread yet about a list of applications that can be safely deleted/removed from Galaxy Note 4 [910F] . Would there be someone out there kind enough to make the list?

Thank you for all the replies. For those of you who were so kind enough to post links...yes I've been there and aware that Google is everyone's friend. However there are some apps in that list that my device does not have and there are some apps in my device that is not in that list. Best explanation is that list as the title states is for Sprint. I am also wondering about the completeness of that list as FB, Instagram are not included in that list which obviously can be removed without any ill effects to device. There are still more apps that I'm quite sure that can be removed but I'm just hoping someone would provide a list just to confirm, hence the thread.

Bloatware removal without root?

Hi. I have a new AT&T S7 Edge and I'd really like to remove the various bloatware on there. In the past, I've always done this via root and then Titanium Backup or similar, but it sounds like root has really become a mixed blessing on AT&T phones since the time I bought my Note 2 several years back. If I'm willing to forgo root, is there any way for me to remove the AT&T/Samsung bloatware?
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. Much appreciated.

You can't really remove without root you can,however, disable it with Package DisablerPro available in the Playstore it's a couple bucks and works decent enougg

Thanks man. I was afraid that would be the answer, but I'm glad at least to have learned about Package Disabler Pro. Right now, I have the apps hidden with Nova Launcher, but I'd definitely prefer to disable them altogether if possible. Sounds like that's going to be as good as it gets for the S7. So be it.
Will disabling the bloatware affect the Android OS updates? Thanks again for the feedback. Much appreciated.

you don't need the package disabler, just use the built in app disabler, does the same thing.

Package Disabler lets you disable just about any app. Stock App Manager seemed to not be able to disable some apps, including the DirectTV Remote app, which kept popping up on me. Otherwise, it does do the same thing, just with fewer restrictions. For me, it was worth the extra couple bucks.

I've noticed the stock app manager is missing a lot of apps compared to my Note 4, yet these apps will come up in Greenify... So yeah, seems like Package Disabler is the way to go here.

Don't mean to thread jack, how do I disable the quick connect bar in the drop down menu? I'm trying to find it in package disabled pro, thanks again

Since the subject of both the DirecTV and Quick connect notifications popped up here, I'll try to help. I did disable both.
To disable Quick connect, lower the notification shade. Expand it by either dragging down again or hitting the arrow in the upper-right corner.
Click EDIT.
At the bottom, turn off Quick connect.
I'm pretty sure this is how I got rid of the DirecTV notifications:
Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the notification.
Click the disable button.

The system uses around 9GB and some other lingering stuff another 1GB so out of the box you already lose 9.125gb ish. Available to you will be around 23-24GB. You can also just put in a 64gb microsd but it won't be adoptive storage but having the microsd card slot helps out a bit.

I found with Package Disabler Pro do not use "Disable all Bloatware" I did and couldn't find my sd card listed
make sure you use manual and are sure what you are disabling.....or you'll disable some necessary system apps ....

I ended up double checking the stuff that wasn't so obvious. There are a few XDA posts on the S6 and S7 forum on which ones are safe to disable and what a lot of the obscure named ones actually do.
I've exported my package disabler pro list to xml here in case anyone want's it. Everything on the phone works perfect (I use nova launcher, google keyboard, hangouts messenger and google voice services so all the samsung equivalent packages are killed)
Copy all and paste into a txt file, save as an XML file, put on phone and import from package disabler pro.
BTW, if anyone notices anything in my list that should actually be turned back on, let me know.

Copy all and paste into a txt file, save as an XML file, put on phone and import from package disabler pro.
BTW, if anyone notices anything in my list that should actually be turned back on, let me know.

Yes. I didn't want any of those but they are clearly labeled in the list of services so they'd be easy to uncheck to re-enable.
Basically, there were a lot of 3rd party apps from google or whoever that I am either used to already using or like using better than the samsung equivalent and I disabled those samsung services or apps. On the other hand, I've come to really enjoy using the samsung calendar, contacts, phone dialer and file explorer vs the 3rd party apps or google apps of those that I was using on my 6P so I didn't do a blanket disable of everything that came with the phone.

Awesome! Thank you. I did one early from the ATT forums and it did awesome. I'll have to go through and see what I want to keep. Like you I tend to keep some samsung apps. If anything I can disable them and re-enable them.

So ran it and my phone goes into constant vibrate mode lol. Any idea why?
Edit: has to do with Samsung pay. I'll play around with it.

So the phone is just vibrating non stopped or all notifications are vibrate only?
Are you using a 3rd party keyboard, messaging app, launcher and chrome browser? All of the samsung equivalents are disabled on mine so if you're missing something to take the place of the samsung app that's disabled for any of those things, the phone may not be liking that.
Also, are you on t-mobile?
If not, I'd remove all the t-mobile specific stuff from the xml file.
If all else fails, you can just re-enabled everything, reboot the phone, make sure it's operating normally and then start going through the list re-disabling various items and seeing if you stumble upon one that produces the strange vibrate thing.

No I'm on sprint. I removed all t-mobile stuff before loading. It vibrates like I was trying to pay for something work Samsung pay. I'll test it tonight

My phone is insanely fast but it removed Email.
Any way I can get that back? I'm on BPH6 firmware, N930FD.

Download the gmail app and enjoy that instead...
That or open package disabler pro app and UNcheck the "Email" item in the list.

I have a Note 7 SM-930T (T-mobile). We do not have an unlocked bootloader but have acquired root. We use FlashFire to backup, restore and flash mods for our phone. Can I flash this mod via FlashFire with NO worry of any issues? Thanks a bunch guys.

S7 Edge exynos (Canadian) and use of package disabler pro?

So I bought the s7 edge to replace my note 7. So before i start loading apps, copying data, making customization I want to set up for the most stable and fastest operation. I got the package disabler pro and i have been playing with it on my N7 before i do anything to the s7 edge. I may use what's app and Instagram but not Skype. I do use the Microsoft office suites though. I wanna be able to use gear vr in the future but I do have the gear s3 frontier coming in too. So I clicked disable all bloatware. So if I do this would i lose any functionality? Any stability? I dont want that so called battery drain. Also i use thr system wide encryption, is that tied to knox ?

I also use the package disabler pro for s7 edge international. I disabled all bloatware, and some other apps. Everything works fine, nothing crashes or freeZe.

Don't click disable all bloatware! Users have reported issues with this as it disables some necessary apps that other apps ping to for updates.
What i recommend is to just go through the list and disable what you don't use. Then recheck the list after a few days under "show me running processes" if using EZ disabler, and disable the apps that are running which you don't use. That's what I've done and have had good battery life

I noticed it disabled galaxy store and gear apps, I need them for the gear s3.

I used the package disabler pro from the play store. I dont which package is worth disabling to save performance, there are a lot of packages disabled by itself.

Generally speaking if you don't know what packages to disable, then I would avoid a package disabler. You might risk freezing something important.
If your really focused on disabling packages, just download "EZ package disabler." Because of 2 reasons:
1) EZ provides a description of each package and what it does. So you know yourself what to disable if it sounds like bloat.
2) PDP is influenced by Samsung, Samsung tell the app Dev to hide certain packages cause it doesn't want users to disable Samsung bloatware, which is why I use EZ package disabler instead

Well before buying the package disabler, It checked to make sure both it and ez package have the same features. They do. Also I use most of the samsung software. Does ez package actually tell you what package is what or does it direct you to a google search? Thats what package disabler pro does. Btw I am using PDP by PoliceDeveloper, I heard there are other copies of this on the net!
