Which is the most stable custom ROM ? - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay so I will finally be rooting by Nexus some time this week . right now which is the most recommended or stable custom ROM for this phone?
I am really curious about trying Android N
But I'm sure there are no stable builds right now

Dirty Unicorns, Chroma, and Pure Nexus are all very good IMO.
I've tried those 3.
If you want Android Pay to work you have to choose either Pure Nexus or Chroma. I had it working with both.
Android Pay aside I don't think you can go wrong with those 3. Pure Nexus is the most popular and the one I'm currently running.

Pure nexus rom for sure
I am on it since day one I bought 6p

All of the above plus Sinless.... Take them for a spin!

Chroma is 100% stable. Never had any problems with it whatsoever :good:

You don't need to root if you're going to change roms.

Completely off topic, you should ask in the Pure Nexus rom discussion.

Completely on the topic. Here is the topic that people choose which ROM is more stable, that's why I asked here whether pure Nexus is stable for VoLTE.

No it's off topic because he is asking for a stable rom in general.
You're asking if Pure nexus supports something. Therefore you should go over to the Pure Nexus rom discussion and check that out - here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/development/rom-pure-nexus-layers-fi-wifi-calling-t3244563

Yeah it's stock alright but PA with halo is based on AOSP. What you want may not happen at all. I suggest flashing PAC rom for the meantime or Paranoid Android on the original development section

Thank you. And add halo to CM is possible?
Yes buddy it's possible. CM team was able to bring pie over so I guess they should be able to incorporate HALO as well.

PAC ROM is nice as its still early days for 4.3 as not officially released I've used a stock 4.3 and suffered battery drain hopefully the devs will work there magic and fix and add stuff we all want to see

Yes, the patch is called android 4.4.3...

Upgrade to 4.4.3, only good things can happen, and you will be able to use the newest kernels.

Well i got my reason not to update, since my favorite rom isnt updated yet.
I know i can just update to 4.4.3 to get the newer kernels to work, but i just dont like to.
yea, too many kernel changes in 443. my only one experience of flashing a 443 kernel on 442 was a non boot. what rom are you waiting for?

Rastakat chameleon edition! I could use the xposed module to get the same effect as this rom (statusbar color changes) but honestly, its quite buggy that way.

Thats true! but honestly i cant live without that mod anymore, and the chameleon version has it so well implemented :cyclops:
My apologies, I was not aware you were waiting for a custom ROM, I thought that you were trying to flash a custom kernel for 4.4.3 on 4.4.2 stock.

[Q] Any 4.4 based ROMS available?

It's been a while since I checked out ROMs for the G2. I remember most, if not all, ROMs were kit kat versions based on the JB source and different radios were required to correct some issues.
With 4.4 source being out for a while now, are there any 4.4 based ROMs for the G2 yet? If so, what are some?

don't know not a fan of aosp roms on my g2 mainly because of the features available on stock that aren't on aosp
main reason you don't see sokp around the main thread is because they decided to post device specific threads and reason you may have not heard of it is because they lack ls980 support but you just want to look at rom here you go:
d800 sokp
just by looking at features section you can see they offer tons of options

Yeah, SOKP is the sonic open Kang project. Their ROM is literally PACKED with features. It's a little buggy at times. I think last time I used it my screen would become unresponsive and I'd have to reboot. May have been a modem issue though, not sure. It's still based on 4.2 source instead of 4.4. Just hacked to run kit Kat.

Daily Driver Rom for Osprey [Discussion]

This thread is dedicated to discussion about roms people are using as daily driver on Moto G 2015.
The posts need to answer this question: WHICH ROM YOU ARE CURRENTLY USING AS A DAILY DRIVER ON YOUR MOTO G 2015 AND WHY?
It would also be good to insert in your post the link to that rom.
Let discussions start!

The one they have now does not have mobile data working.
Xenon HD Optimus kernel smooth quick layers brilliant had it on Nexus 7 2012 was great for that too battery life is good as well get a full day if am not heavy on my xt1541
I prefer the AICP-Rom !!!
Its officially supported, continuously updated (OTA), its light, stabel, smooth, many customizations........:good:
Stock Marshmallow, unrooted. Actually, this is the first one of five Android phones and two Android tablets I've owned that I haven't felt the need to root. Almost pure Google experience, smooth, lag free, quick and responsive. I may eventually root just to remove ads and use a few xposed modules.

So far Broken OS is running fine. Only problem I had was with the stock browser crashing. Installed Firefox and everything is fine now.

Can anyone point me in the direction to manually add these keys, that's literally the only reason i have a rom installed and if i can get away without it it'd love to. If there's already a flashable package that does this that would be gravy..

Not Cataclysm itself. The creator made a mod that turns stock ROM into Cataclysm. You can use the latest March Security Google ROM with Cataclysm Mod. It'll give you the mods that Cataclysm has on a stock ROM.
