Hi all,
I tar'd all CWM versions for all aviable S4 devices. You can flash the recoveries over the "PDA" Button in Odin.
Jfltexx recoveries are tested!

You have to unlock your bootloader to flash the recovery.

I just rooted my phone. I'm on 4.3 . I flashed twrp with Odin.. 2.6.3.7 . And it was an orange twrp rather than the usual blue one. When creating backups it keeps failing on me . Can someone help ?

I have a question if I can install sacs kk v3 on my l720, L720VPUEMK2?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
also if I don't like can I restore the back up I made using Teamwin
Yes you can. Bootloaders on sprint do not block you from using ANY custom ROM.

How would I go about installing sacs kk v3
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
Search and follow instructions on sacs thread. With the questions you are asking I hope you know how to root and install a custom ROM if you haven't done so already.

Rooted plus I backed up using TWRP
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
TWRP crashes on wipe and restore what is going on?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
Might be a bad backup or recovery, try flashing the newest version and then try your restore again. Worst-case, your backup is corrupted and you'll need to start fresh on whatever ROM you have.
Are you trying to restore your backup for some reason?
Found out it was TWRP 2.7.0.0 recovery, but the backups go through and when I reboot it hangs at galaxy s4 screen. Scas custom rom would hang at Android kit kat rotating loading screen. I did give it 10 mins just in case it was the first boot but it never booted.

You need to use Philz or TWRP 2.7.0.1
Odin the recovery for best results and when flashing a ROM reboot recovery after doing wipes, then install ROM
Will safestrap work?

There is no need for safe strap . the bootlaoder is unlocked. If you're talking about the safe strap Roms from Verizon. They should work.

Sprint phones NEVER require safestrap. That is a Verizon thing because they have locked bootloaders. I'm on NAE rooted with Knox tripped and don't have any issues flashing Roms.

I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337 rooted. I tried to flash a custom recovery with Rom Manager, Rom installer, Safestrap and Odin in that order. All my attempts failed because the boot loader is locked and now the stock recovery its gone. My question is: If I flash a stock ROM like out of the box (NB1 OTA) in ODIN that return my phone back to original settings and with the stock recovery too? Thanks in advance!!!
Yes, your only Odin right now is to flash the full Odin tar file

No you can't go backwards with bootloaders. I assume since you weren't able to do custom recovery you're on a newer firmware nc1? If so you can root with towel root then only use safestrap as a means for recovery. But you'll only be able to install touchwiz based roms.

Bootloader is separate from the ROM. So no, you won't lose root.
